The appetizer, pizza, and desserts were all excellent, with impeccable service, nothing to envy from gourmet pizzerias, in fact, a cut above.

Decima's historic pizzeria, thin-crust pizza, delicious, flavorful, and available in a wide variety! Friendly and helpful staff, very fair prices, especially considering the recent price hikes! Delicious desserts! Highly recommended! Free parking nearby, both on the street and near the shops across the street. They also do takeout! Last but not least: closed on Tuesdays! Around here, nothing is ever open on Monday evenings! But they're here!

This pizzeria was recommended to me by some friends, and I wanted to try it. I was very pleased; the dough is very good, the pizza is light, fluffy, and full of excellent ingredients! The service is friendly and fast. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come visit! Congratulations, guys! 😊👏

Finally, a pizza just the way I like it... thin, crispy, and perfectly topped! The restaurant is located on the main road in San Matteo della Decima, and parking on the opposite side is easy. The place isn't the most modern, but the staff is very kind and helpful. I can't wait to go back... Highly recommended!!

24/06/2026: The spicy pizza was one of the best I've ever had. The mortadella pizza is very typical; it was good but nothing out of the ordinary, but I would come back just for the spicy pizza.
23/06/2026: I booked to preview the new summer pineapple pizza: a truly tasty surprise! Small pineapple cubes, which, despite being spicy, don't overpower the flavor of the pizza, which features Apulian burrata, tomatoes, and frigitelli peppers. The pineapple is a little spicy rather than spicy (so if you don't like that flavor, I wouldn't recommend it). Also delicious are the seasoned olives and the chocolate sorbet with orange oil and amaretti biscuits, a perfect finish! The service is always impeccable, too, with friendly and attentive waiters. Also noteworthy is the NO GENDER policy. One of the best pizzas in Bologna (said by a Roman from Rome!)

Trattoria Vecchio Mercato

03/06/2026: A restaurant a little outside of Bologna's city center (an excellent location for those planning an evening at the Auditorium), specializing in gluten-free reinterpretations of traditional Bolognese cuisine. While the location isn't the most romantic, it manages to provide a certain intimacy and welcome, in addition to providing excellent dishes!!! I must say that even as a non-celiac (my girlfriend is celiac and confirms everything), I found the tortellini, tagliatelle, and crescentine to be a guarantee. :)
02/06/2026: 100% gluten-free restaurant, delicious and "normal," even for omnivores. For the first time in many years, I forgot I was celiac. Prices were perfectly normal, without the usual gluten-free overload. Well done!
