Osteria della Lanterna In Bologna

A phenomenal restaurant tucked away on a side street. We visited on a weekday evening and were shown to the back of the restaurant, where apparently almost everything was reserved. However, we were the only guests there for quite some time. The service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was the best we had in all of Bologna, regardless of whether the Cotoletta Bolognese was served with cream or not. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wine and the complimentary amuse-bouche. The highlight was the dessert, a zuppa inglese, which we highly recommend and which brought back memories of my wife's early Italian holidays. The price-performance ratio is excellent. A wonderful discovery! A patented cutlet Bolognese...

Simple and comfortable atmosphere, fast and attentive service, we enjoyed typical Bolognese dishes, the quality of the food was excellent. It met expectations. We had a great time.

Fantastic spot and excellent service! They were nice enough to split the battuta di fassona into two plates for us. Do yourself a favor and go on the weekends to enjoy the lasagna. Highly recommend the Panna Cotta de caffe for dessert as well.

Beautiful restaurant located in the heart of Bologna, featuring an eclectic and charming décor. The food was delicious, the service efficient and attentive, and the prices very fair considering the excellent quality. Portions were well balanced. Overall, a great dining experience. A must-try: the Gramigna paglia e fieno con salsiccia e funghi porcini.

An intimate, retro-inspired restaurant. Kindness, efficiency, quality, and impeccable service. The menu ranges from traditional to contemporary dishes. Everything is homemade, from the bread to the desserts. They offer vegetarian and gluten-free options. The price is average considering the location and cuisine. Excellent!

I came with my parents and we had a wonderful time, it's been months since I've eaten so well 😍🙏🏻 if I could I'd give it 6 stars! Divine dishes, excellent service, tradition is respected but also with a pinch of inventiveness, I'll definitely be back 😍🤟🏻
