During the fair, people were full of ideas about customer-centricity, often not put into practice (or poorly put into practice). At IL LAVATOIO, I found everything they talked about during those days: hospitality and authentic cuisine, simplicity, friendliness, professionalism, and EXCELLENT FOOD QUALITY (excellent ingredients and great preparation skill). In every dish, I found the warmth of home and authentic flavors. Unfortunately, I'm from Veneto and not geographically close enough to return often (a real shame), but when I do, it will definitely be my new go-to. Well done, congratulations!

The dough was very good, but the only flaw was the filling (very generous with nutmeg and cheese)—at least for us—it tasted a bit sour, as if it contained vinegar. There's a large indoor space and an outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy your meal at your leisure. Prices are reasonable. Personally, I also recommend trying the brioche with gelato, which, even on its own, is a masterpiece of flavor and deliciousness. I'll never change you...!!!

12/10/2025: Excellent Slow Food restaurant in the Piacenza hills. Beautiful location, but above all, excellent dishes in terms of quality and presentation. From the cured meats of the appetizers accompanied by torta fritta, to the first courses and desserts. We'll be back to try the second courses.
