22/06/2025: A true gastronomic experience outside the box We had dinner at the Fuori Tema Restaurant and were thrilled. The restaurant offers contemporary cuisine with pleasant references to the flavors of Romagna, all in a refined and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a special evening. We started with two really well-presented appetizers: I chose an excellent platter of local cured meats, while my girlfriend tried the “shrimp under the covers”, a creative and surprising dish. For second courses, I opted for a delicious venison cutlet with potatoes and chocolate demi-glacé — a daring but perfectly successful combination. She instead chose the cod cooked at a low temperature, served with a potato and caramelized onion tart: delicate, balanced and full of flavor. The service was impeccable: kind, attentive and never intrusive. Every detail was taken care of with professionalism and passion. A restaurant that knows how to stand out and that absolutely deserves to be discovered. We will definitely be back!

16/06/2025: The burgers and fries were good, the problem was when paying. Despite the offer on the menu to pay 1.50 for the fries with the burger, at the cashier they made me pay full price. I wanted to complain but they kept the receipt.

02/07/2025: We had two excellent meals at Mimi's, with fish, meat, and sweet desserts, reflecting a wide range of Italian cuisine: super delicious, skillfully seasoned, and perfectly balanced. The service is good and personal, and the prices, given the top quality, are absolutely fair and more than justified. €100 for two people for three courses, including a tip, a bottle of wine, and water, is good value. A welcome drink from the chef and an iced limoncello were on the house. Reservations are essential; the place is always busy.

24/04/2025: In my opinion, Pasticceria Nori is the best pastry shop in Ferrara, I have been a customer for years and they never make a mistake! they use fresh, top quality products, they are always kind in their service and they always try to help you in choosing or composing a cake to order by showing you photos and taking notes! The new mango icing is fabulous! Must try!!! Highly recommended!!

10/07/2025: Last night we dined at the restaurant's newly relocated building. The location is in a well-maintained and newly designed residential area on the outskirts of Ferrara. Indeed, the restaurant was built recently. They have a very spacious outdoor area, with the option of dining under the veranda. We dined inside, which is also very spacious, with a ground floor and a mezzanine area. The interior is very pleasant; modern and newly designed, yet with a rustic feel. The three young women in the dining room are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The menu is interesting and fairly basic. Four appetizers, six or seven first and second courses. The wine list is quite extensive and excellent. We were also offered some off-menu options, which I always appreciate. For two, we ordered battered zucchini flowers with burrata on the side (off the menu), bigoli al torchio with duck ragù and salted ricotta, tortellini cacio e pepe with matriciana sauce, skewered bombette with roasted potatoes, gratinated vegetables, zuppa inglese, and a cup of house wine. The zucchini flowers weren't battered but breaded. Delicious, but simply fried. The bigoli al torchio were delicious and simple. Tortellini cacio e pepe alla matriciana were a discovery. A truly interesting contrast with the sweetness of the matriciana sauce (really delicious) and the robustness of the pecorino with pepper. Pork coppa bombette with minced meat and provola served on a skewer. Delicious, but alas, raw inside, and even on the outside in these cases. I had to leave half of it out because raw pork is unreliable... The gratin vegetables were very appetizing, with a subtle yet flavorful and unobtrusive gratin. The trifle made with Ferrarese brazadela served in a jar was delicious, with just the right amount of Alchermes. If I had to find a flaw, it's that the flavors of the cream and chocolate cream were a bit lost in each other. We spent less than 30 euros each, which is truly a great thing. My rating would be 4.5, but I'm happy to give it 5 stars.

02/07/2025: Sunday Ferrara 11:45, where are we eating? never been here!!. We find this trattoria, local cuisine!!!?. "La Ferrarese". We call, and after 20 minutes we arrive. Welcomed by Sara (host), with Mattia (chef) in the new location inaugurated on Thursday. Sara with cordial professionalism and competence, listed the dishes on the menu and off the menu, suggesting a wine suitable for our choice. And the dishes..what can I say, homemade bread, excellent menu, captivating desserts, wine list with a good choice, all in an informal place furnished in urban style, pampered by the staff, competent and discreet. We felt at home, when we are in the area we will definitely stop here.

06/07/2025: A must if you are passing by Parma...moreover, every time we say goodbye to the maison we regret not having enough opportunities to stop by for dinner! Simply excellent!

21/06/2025: Chosen at random to eat "ciccia" since I am Tuscan and I must say that it did not disappoint my expectations ... Competent and non-invasive staff ... Intimate and not "confusing" location ... you can talk to your partner or your friends in complete tranquility .. Excellent we will return ....
