31/05/2026: My wife and I were in Parma for the day, looking for a vegan restaurant and found this place, open since 1996. Every dish we tried was excellent and carefully prepared. Balanced flavors and high-quality ingredients. Recommended for everyone, but if you're vegan and are passing through Parma, don't miss it; it's a truly worthwhile place.

13/05/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant and were truly delighted! The food was delicious, everything was top-quality. The open-plan dining area inside the restaurant was beautiful, with all the cured meats freshly prepared for the appetizers: a true guarantee of freshness and quality. The first courses were truly top-notch, flavorful and meticulously prepared, but what won us over the most was the sliced ​​beef: incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. My son loved it! The service was also impeccable, with very kind, attentive, and professional waiters. Plus, the place is truly beautiful, welcoming, and well-kept. We'll definitely be back!

17/05/2026: We went to this restaurant this weekend and had some very fresh seafood appetizers. The next evening we returned and had the seafood pizza. This too was delicious and light. Laura, who runs the restaurant, was very friendly, as was all the staff (Penelope was lovely and helpful 😊). Well done! Keep it up! We'll definitely be back in July!

08/03/2026: Ristorante Cattini is located in a hidden green area in the hamlet of l'Orologia in Quattro Castella. The interior dining room is medium-sized and very quaint. The staff is professional and friendly. The menu features a few traditional dishes at reasonable prices for the quantity/quality offered, and there's a wide selection of wines. Their strong point is the variety of boiled and roast meats from the cart, served freshly to each diner. The zuppa inglese is truly delicious. The bathrooms are clean, despite the squat toilet in the women's room, which isn't ideal for everyone. Outside, there's a small play area and a patio with some seating.

27/02/2026: A place that's one of my favorites, where time has stood still for a few years in favor of substance. The first courses are good, and the roasts and boiled meats are expertly cooked. If I ever come back to the area, I'll definitely return.

11/06/2026: The service felt too focused on upselling “premium” dishes with wagyu and truffle. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not always match the premium positioning. The octopus and burrata starter was enjoyable, with good flavour and an interesting combination. While the octopus could have been a little fresher, it was still a good dish overall. For my main course, I originally planned to order the €15 tagliatelle al ragù but was recommended by the server to upgrade to the €24 truffle pasta. Sadly, this proved disappointing. The truffle looked pre-shaved and dried out. It did not have the aroma or flavour that fresh truffle should have. Combined with an overly salty sauce, the dish fell short of my expectations and did not justify the additional cost. I asked for a glass of red wine, only to discover when the bill arrived that it cost €12.50. Considering this is a premium price, the wine tasted acidic and cheap, making the cost difficult to understand. I was neither shown the bottle nor served at the table, leaving me with no idea what wine I had been given. At that price point, I would have expected a higher quality wine. Overall, there were some positives, particularly the starter and the friendly service, but I left feeling that the restaurant focused too heavily on upselling rather than delivering food and drink that justified the prices being charged.

10/06/2026: Superb service, romantic Italian ambiance with excellent food. It doesn't get more romantic than this. Highly recommended. And to top it all off, homemade tiramisu.

06/06/2026: Complete disorganization. We waited half an hour for someone to take our order, and three waiters told us they'd ask the girl taking orders... so we left.

05/05/2026: Very cute little place, small but cozy. We had two bottles of water, bread, a coffee, orecchiette with turnip greens, and a piece of spaghetti, for a total of €22! Really cheap compared to what you'd find in the area. We'll be back!

20/04/2026: We stayed one night at Hotel Mathis, and overall, the experience was a mix of very positive aspects and others that could definitely be improved. The property is a charming little hotel, with a lovely historic tavern attached that's well worth a visit: the food is excellent and definitely worth the stop. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, but unfortunately, a certain inexperience in customer service was evident. Despite their friendliness, we didn't feel particularly welcomed as guests. The room, though small, was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable (the double pillows were much appreciated). However, we noticed a water leak from the ceiling. We didn't request a room change simply because we were staying one night and had already used the room, but we did report it. It was very hot that night, and the air conditioning wasn't working because the seasonal changeover hadn't yet been completed: an aspect that definitely needs to be addressed better. We had also booked dinner via the app, but we felt that canceling the reservation was almost more welcome than keeping it. Considering the problems we encountered, we would have expected at least a small gesture of thoughtfulness (even a symbolic one... even just offering a liqueur), which unfortunately didn't arrive. In short: a property with great potential, good food, and friendly staff, but it needs greater attention to detail and the overall guest experience.

18/02/2026: A very nice B&B. The room was small, there were three of us, but it was fine for one night. The room and bathroom were clean and had all the amenities. The breakfast was excellent. There's a lovely restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner, but I didn't use it. I definitely recommend this place for visiting the nearby Piacenza hills.

20/04/2026: As a former driver, I knew Gigi and Ivan well. I also knew La Maman and Christian back in the 80s and 90s. Even then, the restaurant was impeccable. I would be so happy to go back someday, but I'm getting old, what a shame. A Bettoli driver.

23/05/2026: Just walk in and you'll feel right at home! Intimate place, Michele and Simona are wonderful people! Their craft beer is the best! I'd say it's become a regular stop!

29/12/2025: Excellent restaurant near the city center, with paid parking until 8 pm. Small but welcoming and well-organized. Mainly Neapolitan-style dishes. Reservations are required for two sittings: 7-9 pm and 9-11 pm. Reception was prompt. Neapolitan pizza with a soft dough and filling, delicious and very digestible, with plenty of toppings—I'd say excellent. Reservations recommended. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant.
