We had a mixed experience at Zenzero. It took the staff quite a long time to notice us after we were seated, and when they did approach us they weren't too friendly. However, the food was great, delicious seasonal vegetarian dishes that were both hearty and light. If you're looking for an interesting plant-based option out of the old city centre, it's worth a try.

Very cute and pleasant place.
Excellent vegan and non-vegan options.
Carefully prepared and very tasty dishes.
Service is really slow, with very few table staff (at least the night I went).
Price is reasonable.

Five of us went for dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered a mixed vegetarian platter and the roast seitan. The latter was good, but I wasn't thrilled with the mixed platter, especially considering the price. The grilled vegetables, tempeh, and grain-like cake seemed bland. For dessert, we ordered the vegan hazelnut pudding: it tasted good, but it tasted more like melted ice cream than pudding (there are vegan gelling agents available). I wouldn't recommend it if you're vegan; it's perfect for saving a mixed-dining experience.

Found by chance because it's close to the hotel. I'm writing this review as soon as it comes out... truly fantastic... very nice place, excellent service and really delicious food... I had the cream of fava beans with chicory... and an asparagus, fava bean and pecorino salad... with spectacular tempura pods.

I celebrated my wife's birthday and asked if I could have a special gift on our table. They allowed me to bring a cake for the occasion, with product traceability on the receipt. They brought it to me with a lit candle and served it to our guests. Superb service, much appreciated, as well as an excellent menu prepared by a delightful chef. Thank you for everything and sorry if I bothered you a bit ☺️☺️ Highly recommended!!!
