We had a good meal; the prices were reasonable; the service was professional. It's a shame the restaurant isn't in the more lively part of Bologna.

Just a 3-minute walk from the city center, this place is truly delightful, with friendly owners and excellent traditional cuisine. We felt so welcome that we returned. Those looking for a classic Bolognese atmosphere will not be disappointed. Thanks for everything!

We had the tagliatelle al ragu, the lasagna verde, meatballs with tomato sauce and peppers, and tiramisu – it was a wonderful evening with great service and fine wine! We'd go back anytime!!

Great restaurant. I had the chicken and it was some of the best food I've had in years. My fellow diners also had the best food of our trip. Staff were attentive and efficient. We would definitely go there again if in Bologna. We were lucky to get in so a reservation is recommended.

For a romantic dinner...perfect...the food...the service, nothing to complain about... I recommend it... Don't forget to book ahead though, as the place is small and gets very busy

Al Sangiovese is absolutely amazing. By far one of the best meals I've ever had anywhere in Italy. Everything from the food courses to the wine to the dessert was excellent. The beef filet in poricini sauce was also one of the best steaks I've ever had and could easily compete with the finest steak house. The owner is an absolutely wonderful host and the whole experience was a pleasure from beginning to end.

I came to this restaurant after hearing many positive reviews, and it did not disappoint. Every dish was prepared with fresh ingredients and looked beautiful. The service was fast, efficient, and very friendly. The restaurant was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. I had a great experience and would happily return.

Very good food and even better Staff. Highly recommend to book in advance. They even added a candle to the dessert for my fiance as it was his birthday. It made us feel very special. Thank you!
