We chose this restaurant after consulting industry guides, and then, after reading reviews on other sites, we were convinced. The atmosphere is very refined, and the restaurant is located a bit outside the center of Parma, right below a hotel. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of our dinner, but I must say we ate very well. The cured meats and torta fritta (an alternative version of gnocco fritto) were delicious. The first courses were excellent, including the herb tortelli alla parmigiana (very delicate) and the potato tortelli alla parmigiana with porcini mushrooms (the contrast between the two main ingredients was excellent). The homemade tiramisu was excellent. The wine list was decent.
The service was attentive, discreet, and very helpful.
I must say we had a great time.

Thank you to everyone in the kitchen and the service staff. There were only two of us, but we received our full attention and the best service. Very friendly service and perfect Italian cuisine at its finest. We were seated at a small table right in the middle of the action; it was absolutely wonderful.

We were in invited to eat here by an Italian colleague. We ate here twice years ago. Reservation is recommended because of its popularity. All staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. They serve the traditional food of the region but refined. They have 'fuori menu' which means besides the menu. They serve the special versions of salami and ham. We had fish carpaccio on artichoke and slices of beef on artichoke. Accompanied by Nero d'Avola and water. Try it...we will be back.

A classic family-run Parma restaurant. The Parma of taste sits and chats over the food at Cocchi.
Excellent appetizers, exceptional Parma ham, as well as the other cured meats and artichoke tart.
Excellent anolini in capon broth.
The boiled meats trolley is not to be missed, with accompanying sauces that enrich the dish and delight the palate (Cremona mustard, salsa verde, and three-tomato sauce).
The only drawback is that the kitchen closes early for dinner.
If you're passing through Parma, stop at Cocchi, otherwise keep going.
