01/01/2026: Burger was soggy and under cooked,coffee was trash and waiter looked like she would rather be somewhere else doing anything else but serving. Atmosphere was alright.

12/01/2026: A questionable experience, to say the least. We booked a table for a drink and to listen to a band; some ate, some didn't. Only in hindsight did we realize that, being a trattoria, everyone was expected to eat: an oversight on our part, which we readily acknowledge. The real problem is the way the situation was handled. Instead of an explanation, we received comments like "I lost tonight with you" and "It's not a church." Phrases like that convey nothing more than that you're a second-rate customer, even adding contempt. Given that the place was packed and they certainly didn't lose, it's clear that it's not a question of money, but of style. These comments are unacceptable. We've been here before to drink and listen to music outside, but I'll definitely think twice before choosing this place. We frequent the live music scene, a small world where certain attitudes are noticed and remembered. After a scene like that, it's natural to wonder whether this is really a place worth recommending or supporting. Not exactly a good move.

12/01/2026: A very pleasant experience at Ca' Bottona in Costermano. The venue is perfect for parties and evenings with friends, thanks to its lively and engaging atmosphere, often enlivened by live music that makes the evening even more entertaining. The service is good, friendly, and well-organized, even when the venue is crowded. The dishes are delicious, ideal for a casual, convivial evening. A recommended place for those looking for fun, good company, and a dynamic atmosphere.

The main courses are also noteworthy; I had duck à l'orange, the special of the day, which was truly remarkable! The wine list is also good. Attentive and friendly staff, a welcoming place.

06/01/2026: A great classic of the finest Italian gastronomy, the home of the excellent tortellino. The best tortellini in the world, prepared every morning by six splendid pasta makers, overseen daily by the wisdom of the longtime owners, the Pasquali family, led by the wonderful and ever-brilliant Nadia. A very thin pastry and a boiled meat filling made daily by boiling six different meats, none of which are cured meats, hence the lightness and extraordinary flavor. The dining room, always packed and crowded, is masterfully managed by the talented Roberto, a top-notch maître d' who leads a large and fast-paced dining room team. Last but not least, the historic and meticulously maintained restaurant is located in the beautiful center of town, just steps from the splendor of Borghetto, which more than a visit deserves a spiritual immersion... or a wedding! 😉

03/01/2026: An unexpected stop: a welcoming place and even more pleasant service. We ate truly excellent homemade tagliatelle, thin and delicate, not the usual thick ones, topped with a delicious farmyard ragù. The duck was also excellent, perfectly crispy, and the desserts were a hit. We also appreciated the wines and the history—an experience to remember.

04/01/2026: We stayed one night: the bed was very comfortable and had a nice topper. The room isn't very large but is well-furnished and offers all the comforts. The bathroom is spacious, with a nice shower and a complimentary toiletries kit. Breakfast offered a wide selection of both sweet and savory options, although I would have preferred more homemade cakes (their homemade jams are delicious). Located in a secluded and quiet area. Given the time of year, we didn't use the pool. Everyone was very friendly. A note about the trattoria: the food is good and the service is good, but I was served a fillet of sea bass with five bones. When I pointed this out to the waiter who asked if everything was okay, he joked about it. Well... I was a little disappointed. Otherwise, everything was fine. Reasonable prices.
