The best instructors, great equipment and amazing service! We took a 5-day catamaran sailing course with instructor John! An excellent instructor with a lot of experience and patients! 5 days well spent on this beautifull lake! What a place!

I recently took wingfoil courses. The whole crew is friendly and does a great job. Everything went perfectly. A well-organized watersports center with new equipment. The location is absolutely fantastic. Thanks a lot, I'll definitely be back!

I had a fantastic experience with WWWind Square Watersports in Malcesine! I joined a tow foiling course in a small group of just three people, which meant everyone received plenty of individual attention. The instructors were incredibly friendly, patient, and always happy to help. They explained everything clearly and created a relaxed atmosphere that made learning both easy and enjoyable. During the course, I learned how to control the board and the foil as it lifted out of the water, which was an amazing feeling. The instruction was excellent, and I made much more progress than I expected. Most importantly, I had a lot of fun! I can highly recommend WWWind Square Watersports to anyone who wants to try tow foiling or improve their skills

I booked online and me and my 2 teenage childrean receive an amazing two day course of wingfoiling from the lecturer Franzi. The check in was fine yet it's good to come 15 minutes earlier to assure everything is ready. Franzi explained us the principles and then we were practicing on the water. She was on a boat and sometimes had to take us back to the starting point. The equipment is excellent and we received many valuable information how to start wit this amazing sport.

Superbe spot, great equipement, excellent services and nice surf vibe! I’ve done a 2h windsurfsession so rented all equipement. Called the day before and conditions should be good so made sure I was at the spot early, so at 07:30-08:00AM. Arriving early secures a parkingspot and the right sizes equipement. The first hour I used 4.7m2+104L and the 2nd hour I switched to 5.5m2+114L due to less wind. Amazing to windsurf between these high mountains!

We rented a smaller sailboat. I think it was a bit expensive, especially since the sails are not in a very good shape. Also I had to pay extra to get help to sail off from the buoy. I think that should be included for those who need, especially since you need a ride to the boat anyway. Also I think the boats should be insured so that you feel safe, it feels a bit scary to rent a boat that is not in top shape and things could break and it would be on you. Apart from that we were very happy with our boat ride and the staff were helpful and nice and there is also a nice area where you could have a break and a drink and rest after your activity.

I took two different courses with WWWind Square Watersport: a three-day beginner wingfoil course and a separate tow-foiling session. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, especially the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The team was welcoming, and I appreciated that the instructors regularly brought participants back when the wind carried us too far away from the starting point. However, there were several areas where I believe the experience could have been more structured and professional. My main reason for booking the three-day beginner course was to learn through a gradual process with regular feedback and clear progression. Unfortunately, I often felt that I was left to figure things out by myself rather than being shown what I was doing wrong and how to correct it. I had specifically requested an English-speaking instructor, but the coach assigned to me spoke very limited English. I have nothing against him personally, and he was friendly, but the language barrier made it difficult to understand instructions or ask for help. At times, when I was struggling, I received very little explanation. Interestingly, another instructor who brought me back after I had drifted farther away gave me useful advice that my original coach had never mentioned. I also felt that my confidence and current ability were not always properly assessed before progressing to more difficult equipment. For example, I was given a smaller board while I was still struggling with basic turning and positioning. In a beginner course, I would expect the equipment and difficulty to be adjusted more carefully to each student’s level. There were also some inconsistencies regarding instructions and safety. The board was not attached to my leg, so whenever I fell, I had to swim after it, which took time and made the learning process unnecessarily difficult. One instructor later told me that the board leash should have been attached once we were on open water, while the other instructor had not mentioned it. I believe important procedures like this should be clearly explained and consistent between instructors. The organisation and communication could also be improved. I completely understand that wind and weather cannot be controlled. However, when the course started approximately 30 minutes later than the time I had been given, it would have been helpful to receive a WhatsApp message instead of arriving and waiting. Clearer communication about start times, delays, wind conditions or cancellations would make it much easier for guests to plan the rest of their day. The second course I completed was a tow-foiling session, and this was a better experience overall. The instructor spoke English, was friendly, funny and motivating, which made the session much easier and more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the board was again not attached to the leg, so after falling into the water, we had to spend unnecessary time swimming after it. Partway through the session, a storm arrived and we had to leave the water. This was obviously not the company’s fault, and safety must come first. We were told that, because we had not been able to complete the time we had paid for, we would be contacted the following day and allowed to finish the remaining part of the session. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and nobody contacted us afterwards. That was disappointing, especially as it had been clearly promised. This does not mean that I was unhappy with the entire experience. There were several positive aspects, particularly the atmosphere, the friendly team and the instructor during the tow-foiling session. This is simply my honest feedback, and I believe many of the negative points could be avoided through better communication, more consistent procedures, individual coaching and proper follow-up when something is promised.

A warm and very professional welcome. I made good progress in wingfoiling ;). For all levels, excellent equipment. Level 2-3 lessons are mostly in the morning (Peler). Café-restaurant on the same site (and a few sun loungers on the small beach). Close to beautiful Malcesine.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve been coming to Wind Square by Hermann for five summers in a row, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it more. From the very first year, we knew that every time we returned to Lake Garda, this would be our go-to water sports center. Over the years, our family has enjoyed a wide range of activities here, including canoeing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, wing foiling, kitesurfing and sailing catamarans. We also took beginner courses in catamaran sailing, wing foiling and kitesurfing, starting with absolutely no experience. The instructors are outstanding—professional, patient, friendly and great at explaining everything, making the learning process both easy and fun. The equipment is always in excellent condition and they have everything you could need: a wide selection of boards, sails, life jackets, wetsuits, water shoes and sizes for everyone. You can really tell they take great care of both their equipment and facilities. They also offer changing rooms, convenient parking, a relaxing sunbathing area where you can unwind before or after your session, an excellent restaurant with great food at reasonable prices, and a small café where you can enjoy a coffee or a cold drink while waiting. With so many water sports centers around Lake Garda, it’s not easy to find one that makes you want to come back year after year. Yet we’ve returned every summer for the past five years because we know we’ll always receive outstanding service, a fantastic atmosphere and an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already experienced, we can’t recommend this place highly enough. See you again next year!🤩
