I was there with a friend for my first time. A stone's throw from the center of San Floriano (Valpolicella), yet surrounded by greenery, is this beautiful inn, very well-kept, elegant, and in a peaceful setting. The welcome and service are impeccable, with kindness and attentiveness abounding. We ate an excellent first course, but we were a bit disappointed with the second course, the "old-fashioned steak," a beef tenderloin. It was beautifully presented, but we found it a bit rubbery and difficult to chew. Maybe it was just that type of meat, maybe it was just fate... We drank an excellent wine 🍷

This restaurant was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Italy (honestly, probably across all six of our trips to Italy). The grilled vegetables and wine risotto were unforgettable, and I’ve never had mushrooms prepared so beautifully and deliciously. The chicken was also fantastic. It was such a fun experience drinking wine produced literally next door — true farm-to-table at its best! The servers were incredibly warm and hospitable and made the entire meal even more memorable. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

A charming restaurant nestled among the vineyards, it offers exquisite delicacies prepared with skill and a careful selection of high-quality ingredients. We were on the outdoor veranda and enjoyed a superb lunch of polenta and lard cicchetti, Amarone risotto, grilled Introvabile with sautéed wild herbs, tiramisu, and chocolate and rum sorbet. We admired the view on a beautiful sunny day, enjoying two glasses of excellent Ripasso. The staff welcomes guests with warmth and friendliness. Highly recommended!
