02/11/2025: I took my family to Verona for a visit, and intrigued by the positive reviews, I tried this place for lunch. The reviews were absolutely confirmed: the atmosphere was friendly, the food delicious, and the owners were very kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

07/10/2025: Fantastic Deli. What amazing counters and displays of local products. There is a few tables outside, so we decided to stop and order a meats and cheeses tasting selection, with a glass of wine each - Fantastic, we really enjoyed it, good value and excellent quality. If you are local or visiting Lazize, we would recommend you pay a visit- really friendly owners as well.

05/10/2025: Good service (lady from Serbia, very nice girl), we brought bread, salami, olive oil... everything so good.

10/11/2025: This is a small restaurant with 20-30 wines available on an electronic card tasting system. It is not possible to just do a wine tasting, you must also sit at a table and order food. Very dim lighting, dark, and too-cool colored led table lamps (bad lighting is a pet peeve). Veal carne cruda Is fresh and tasty but unseasoned (definitely NOT made with the olive oil and mustard that the menu claims) - they do bring oil and salt/pepper to your table. Sardegnan pan carasau came with it, but was stale, not fully fresh and crispy - probably needed a quick refresh in the oven. Risotto al Amarone (minimum two people) is outstandingly well done - perfect cook, seasoning, flavor, and creaminess with just a tiny hint of cacao. Sbrisolona Is Verona's version of cantucci - you must pour either grappa or recioto (passito) on them so they are edibly softened. Wine selection includes local wines by the glass including a couple of superiores and amarones available in your choice of size of pour. Many more available by the bottle. Friendly staff.

07/11/2025: A very welcoming restaurant in the center of Verona with a wide selection of wines. You can choose your wine by the glass or the quantity you want directly from the bottle using an innovative automatic wine extraction system. The wine bottle is not oxygenated and remains at a controlled temperature. This quaint, well-renovated restaurant offers a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Friendly staff and good food. The limited menu ensures its quality.

19/11/2025: Breathtaking location with an enchanting view of the valley, I imagine the evening must be wonderful, I stopped for a business lunch, excellent food even though it was a work menu, the care, the goodness and the presentation were amazing, friendly and nice staff, what can I say, a place to mark and return even outside of work, highly recommended 😊

10/11/2025: The place is a very Zen and refined place with enveloping music that pampers the palate and the mind. It was a fantastic experience. The owners are exquisite people. An aperitif with fantastic finger food. You will definitely return whenever you feel like being pampered. I recommend booking because the place is small, as it deserves. Everything has an added value as it is very close to the university area... if you want to live a one-of-a-kind experience, trust this Bijoux. It is a place that will transport you to magical places.

15/10/2025: Amazing pan pizza! Super light dough, rotating with special flours (whole wheat rye, hemp, buckwheat, burnt wheat, etc.) and very interesting toppings with seasonal vegetables grown by them! The guys are super kind.

20/11/2025: Passing by Lake Garda, we asked Google's artificial intelligence where to eat the best tortellini in Valeggio, and the answer was: the best is Alla Borsa. There may be other restaurants in Valeggio that are better than this, but Alla Borsa is certainly a gem that's hard to match. A warm welcome, professional and speedy service, and an interesting menu rooted in local specialties. After our usual salad (fresh and plentiful), we chose salmon trout carpaccio and prosciutto crudo with (wonderful) homemade mustard as an appetizer. Both were excellent. And then, above all, the typical Valeggio tortellini, with a pasta so thin it's hard to understand how they stay together. After all, there's a tradition that has lasted generations. The Valpolicella Superiore and Custoza (by the glass, and a very generous portion at that) were excellent, and the price was fair, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients and craftsmanship. This restaurant will become a regular stop for us. Thanks Gemini for the great recommendation!

17/11/2025: Must try at least once in your life. Minimalist, modern, very clean and well-kept, quiet atmosphere, not at all noisy, soft lighting. Reservations are definitely required, and there are shifts to do so; it seats a maximum of 55 customers. I came with my boyfriend, pizza lovers that we are, and I must say it absolutely did not disappoint—in fact, quite the opposite! The ideal would be for two couples to come to sample the various options, but we decided to eat and sample as many as possible. There are pizzas for 4 or 8 slices; we ordered four of them because we couldn't stop to try them all! The Margherita is a must, as it allows you to fully appreciate the top-notch dough and the carefully selected ingredients (the tomatoes tasted just like grandma's homemade ones, straight from the garden). The other pizzas with unique doughs (corn/barley/whole wheat) are also very popular, and if I really had to point something out, I'd recommend mentioning them on the price list because the dough type isn't specified. I'd read some less-than-favorable reviews about the staff, but I have to say they were really friendly and knowledgeable, especially the girls who served. The welcome drink was also very much appreciated. I highly recommend it! Congratulations, it deserves all the positive reviews.

28/08/2025: I took a four-day surfing course. It was a great fit for my level, and I learned a lot. Now I feel more confident on my own. 😊 We also went sailing with a skipper for two hours. Very enjoyable and well-informed! The center is really great because you can try out so many things there, and the spot is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's also a restaurant with delicious food.

27/08/2025: Massive thanks to the team at Windsquare Watersports for helping us get a great sail on the Hobie Tiger F18. John really couldn’t have been more helpful — great communication and absolute enthusiasm for sailing (and that’s from the perspective of being an RYA dinghy instructor myself). The F18 definitely needs some prior experience if you want to sail it without an instructor, but the team can get you to that stage if that’s what you’re aiming for. We sailed three-up as a family, and between us have many decades of sailing experience. We all agreed that the sail on Garda with the F18 was one of the best sails we’ve ever had! Windsquare is a fantastic place to go for all levels of instruction and hire on Lake Garda. We researched carefully before we went and absolutely made the right choice. Now keen to do some more F18 sailing...it really is a buzz! (BTW reading a review below...we waited during the morning until John thought conditions were right as there was thunder and lightning brewing...we were more than happy to take his advice; they are the experts on what's happening on on the lake and it's a really nice place to hang around anyway + with the free parking)
