13/03/2025: Trattoria dal Taio is a place that absolutely deserves a visit. During my work lunch break I had the opportunity to try bigoli with renga, a typical dish executed to perfection: tasty, balanced and with an authentic taste that tells of tradition. Every bite was a real pleasure, and the quality of the cooking is evident.
The staff is another great strength of the restaurant: kind, attentive and always ready to satisfy every request with professionalism and courtesy. The atmosphere is the welcoming and genuine one of real trattorias, a place to feel at home and enjoy an excellent meal.
I can't wait to return to try their meat, hoping to sit in the cave and discover other specialties on the menu. If you are looking for an authentic place with excellent dishes and impeccable service, Trattoria dal Taio is the right choice!”

05/03/2025: A stone's throw from the Verona Arena there is this exceptional place, not only for the delicious and well-filled focaccias, but also for the very kind staff. Second time in Verona I absolutely had to come back to eat here, a must-see!

26/01/2025: Beautiful, very special location. Kindness and affability of the owners always available. Excellent food but with a but! The bruschetta, maybe I'm wrong because of the little light there was, but did they look like slices of bread to me? If this were the case, you cannot serve such a beautiful platter of cured meats without having some slice of an excellent loaf. Adequate prices however with a But! Asking €18 for 3 lamb chops seems a bit excessive given that it goes for €20/22 per kg. Was the dish perhaps three ounces of lamb in total? With 4 chops perhaps it would have been more accepted. However, apart from these small details, I recommend it. Take the rib eye which is fabulous.

15/03/2025: We had a great evening at the Butcher. The service was really friendly and efficient, the view on the kitchen very nice. Food wise, the wine was incredible, the meat perfect, we enjoyed everything we ordered. It’s rare that a specialized restaurant (meat) does good desserts, and our tiramisu was 🫠 If you want a break from the classic trattorias, I definitely recommend.

You can see it in his eyes that that is his passion and you can see it in the dishes. We took "silvia and I". An evening I will remember for a long time. The ambiance was very quaint. The servers were very attentive.
If you don't have a reservation, you should arrive early.
The gluten-free pizza was so-so, but my thicker gluten-containing pizza was okay.
The tomato soup was amazing.

09/03/2025: Strapieno di gente, per cui le tante recensioni positive saranno anche meritate ma noi non ci siamo trovati bene.
I piatti serviti non niente di che e il servizio ci è sembrato poco attento e molto sbrigativo (se dovuto alla sala piena, bastava aggiungere una cameriera o un cameriere in più)
Paragonato a quello di altri locali che frequentiamo abitualmente, il costo della cena è cmq nella norma.
