05/07/2026: I had the pleasure of staying one night at Bacco d'Oro for work, and the experience was truly excellent. The property is beautiful, immersed in an elegant and relaxing atmosphere, where you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff are undoubtedly one of its strengths. If you love wine, this is the place: the selection is truly extraordinary and showcases the local area to its fullest. The room was impeccable, spotlessly clean, and meticulously maintained. I slept wonderfully thanks to a truly comfortable mattress. Breakfast, served directly at your table, is an added bonus: quality products, a wide selection, and, upon request, they can also prepare eggs, ham, and fontina cheese at no extra charge. This customer service truly makes a difference and makes you feel at home. All this at absolutely fair prices, considering the high quality of the service. A place I happily recommend and will definitely return to.

The food was superb: even the appetizers – especially the beef tartare and the meatballs – were outstanding and left us wanting more. The main courses were equally impressive: delicious and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The desserts were also excellent and a perfect end to the evening. The service was very attentive and courteous, and they explained everything to us clearly. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by. We'll definitely be back!

02/04/2026: Regarding the restaurant: We're struggling to give it a rating; it's more like 3.5, but the food was too good, even if it was a bit bland. It lacked depth of flavor, but otherwise, the quality of the ingredients was there. The staff was very indifferent, not very hospitable in the traditional sense. The wait time between the appetizer and main course was very long for us and at neighboring tables. The price-performance ratio was okay. Would we come back? No. Is it worth eating there once? Yes. It has more potential...

28/07/2026: A trattoria with limited seating, a short but delicious menu, and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is reminiscent of old trattorias but with a youthful aesthetic.

The spaghetti with meatballs is highly recommended; it's well-prepared and plentiful. The waiters are punctual and friendly.

02/07/2026: Everything was perfect! The place, the service, the food...everything! I highly recommend it! Three of us ate there, including beer, several bottles of water, one appetizer to share, one first and one second course each, one dessert, and two coffees. It came to approximately €60 per person. For the quality of the food and the service, I think it's more than reasonable.

26/07/2026: Gianluca and Ilaria really welcomed us into their "living room". This cozy little enoteca with lots of good natural wines. Don't expect a tourist bar or a diluted Aperol Spritz, here the focus and knowledge about the wine is the main focus. Thank you for the nice conversation and good tips for our further journey through Italy. I hope we get the opportunity to return to Verona and then of course come in for a glass, or five, of wine!

11/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re in Bardolino, take the extra 8 minute walk and skip the tourist trap restaurants. Osteria Al Capitel is absolutely worth it. The outdoor seating is beautiful, surrounded by palm trees and lime trees, making it a relaxing place to enjoy dinner. One thing we really appreciated was that it’s non smoking, which made the whole experience even better. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. To top it all off, the owner makes her own limoncello and brought us each a sample after dinner. It was incredible and the perfect way to end the meal. This is the kind of family run restaurant you hope to find when travelling. We’ll definitely be back.

08/07/2026: The price-quality ratio was not right. Paid 150 euros for sandwiches and 2 main courses. Prices are also not displayed on the menu. They were nice people, though. Al Cardellino offers better value for money. The ambiance in the garden is also better.

05/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, small, so if you don't book, you won't get anything. Excellent Calasetta cuisine, beautifully presented. All dishes are homemade, including pasta and desserts. I returned and this time I tried the grilled meat. I chose the Florentine steak, perfectly cooked and served on a grill to keep it from getting cold. Very satisfied, and I forgot about the wide selection of red and white wines, especially local ones.
