02/12/2025: One of the most beautiful and unique places I have ever seen. The Clitunno Park is not just a green area, it’s a place where history, myth, and nature blend together in the most magical way. The springs that feed the Clitunno River were already sacred in ancient Roman times: people believed a river god, Jupiter Clitumnus, lived beneath these waters, and great festivals were once held here in his honor. In antiquity, the river was so abundant that it was navigable and connected small settlements all the way to Rome. A powerful earthquake in 444 AD changed the course of the springs forever, reshaping the landscape but never diminishing its beauty. What you see today, the emerald lake, crystal-clear water, willows reflecting on the surface, and peaceful wildlife, is the result of centuries of natural evolution and a major 19th-century restoration that created the romantic lakeside setting we know now. For me, this is truly one of the most stunning and special places I’ve ever visited: • the light on the water is mesmerizing, • the nature is lush and calming, • and the sense of history makes every corner feel meaningful. A magical spot in the heart of Umbria, perfect for anyone who loves beauty, peace, and places that seem to exist outside of time.

10/11/2025: A very basic place. Don't expect much. When I went, there wasn't a certain thing available that day, so I ordered something else and it wasn't available either... In the end, go for the pizza. It's good, but you have to like the very thin and light version. Not suitable for big eaters. In fact, the customers are mostly older. The wait was a bit long, but acceptable. In the end, I can say I ate well.

19/10/2025: I had booked for 8:15pm and asked if it was too late, and they said no, and that on Saturday nights they also closed at 9:30pm. I arrived on time and they told me it was too late, they had run out of dough and would be closing, rude.

25/12/2025: We went as the restaurant opened at 18:00 , we had a table reservation for 2 . We ordered beef ramen, noodles stir fried with soy sauce and sweet and sour fried chicken. The ramen broth was tasteless, noodles were like instant noodles, the beef portion in the ramen was very small and the vegetables in the broth tasted expired in a way . The stir fried noodles were not bad . The sweet and sour chicken was not fried , it was stir fried in a “sweet and sour “ sauce which is I am pretty sure it was ketchup and a pit of vinegar, it was also served in a dish with pineapple and peppers(it was not listed on the menu that the dish will be this way nor the server notified us) , when we notified the server that we didn’t order the chicken this way , she told us that we had to specify that we wanted the chicken to be cooked another way (although it wasn’t listed as an option to change the cooking method in the menu) We asked to return the dish and the server refused and said we have to pay for it . We spoke with the manager about the situation and we hardly convinced her that we didn’t order what we got . Overall the food is meh , wouldn’t eat there anymore, and the customer service was really rude and ruined our day .

12/01/2026: Very, very bad food and service. When we arrived they told us they served food till 23.00. We tried to order and no pizza available anymore, while 10 people around us still got served their pizza. That means no hospitality and heart for the customer. Because we were hungry we ordered beef with fries. Disgusting. First we asked for rare meat but it was completely uncooked. Then we asked to recook it and it was basically rubber. The meat was also of very low quality. Muscles inside the beef all along. If you want to have a good dinner, never ever go here. They will rip you off your money and their customer service is bad.

03/01/2026: The owner was very rude. I paid €1.80 for a macchiato, which I justified by using the restroom. There were two of us.

02/01/2026: We entered the bar (two people) and waited for our father for five minutes because it was very cold. We only ordered a coffee and in the meantime used the restrooms (very awful and disgusting). The owner, while bringing the coffee to the table, rightly pointed out that we were occupying the next table with our purses, and I immediately moved everything. The problem was that this gentleman thought he was at the stadium as a way of approaching customers, and on top of that, as he returned to the counter, he was muttering loudly and swearing. When our father joined us, we left and when we paid the bill, the owner charged us almost double because we used the restrooms and only bought a coffee.

01/01/2026: Unfortunately, feeling hungry, we stopped at this roadside trattoria. If we'd read the reviews, we'd definitely have gone straight there... the prices were completely out of line with the quality of the food and quite unjustified. For example, the €12 slice of bread was clearly served with discount truffle sauce. Personally, I felt cheated. In those parts, opt for a decent, honest sandwich elsewhere.

21/08/2025: Happened upon this restaurant while driving along the countryside. I’m glad we stopped because the food was delicious and it had a great authentic feel to it. Highly recommend Ristorante La Casetta

29/09/2025: Honest review: The appetizer was bruschetta with olive oil without salt (we had to ask for it because the chef had apparently forgotten), the portion of lasagna was really small, and the mixed vegetables were just okay. We had to change the house wine because there was something floating in the glass... the interior location was really ugly, like a poorly maintained neighborhood tavern. The prices were high for what they offer. For me, CROSS X

17/09/2025: Extremely long waits. Wrong dishes. Measly portions. At the mall they make you feel more at ease. In a commercial establishment outside of the quality and price range (which doesn't matter to us if you're going out to dinner), you need a smile and some attitude.........to be erased. If you work only for share capital, it's better to stay home.

15/09/2025: I went there for aperitivo on Sunday evening and I have to say I really liked the atmosphere inside, which was very unique. A friendly and very courteous woman served us. The quality is good, and it's more than enough for spending an hour in good company.
