The food was delicious. The pasta and sauces were fresh, aromatic, and delightful. A true delight. The gentleman who served us was very kind. I recommend it to everyone, although there are cheaper places.

Excellent restaurant in Castiglione. The homemade pici are delicious, and the appetizer, coccole, is truly delicious. Friendly and attentive service. A must-try if you're in the area.

We stopped for lunch, and even though it was crowded, we didn't have a long wait. The food was plentiful and excellent! The family who runs this place is truly sweet and kind! We had a great time...highly recommended!!

uaint, very attentive staff (who were often seen to switch to French or English, or used Google translation for others). However the quality of the food was a big surprise, fresh pasta on very novel Mamma dishes (the Via Francigena was a treat), all complemented by good quality inexpensive wine.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal here when on our Via Francigena hiking trip. We had to try a lovely bottle of Brunello wine whilst in this region (which inflated the meal price) and it didn't disappoint.
