We booked last-minute (from the car while heading north from a family trip), and they immediately made it available (even though it was Saturday, May 2nd) for lunch. A beautifully maintained green oasis, a wonderful farmhouse, and very friendly staff. The food is meticulously prepared and of excellent quality (mostly using ingredients from their own farm), with great attention to gluten-free options. Prices are in line with the quality.

One of the most amazing services and the food , oh my god. The food is just outstanding. They really take good care of what they make and how they make. Everything was just so well made, truly enjoyed the cheeses , the chicken steak and greens on the side. The tiramisu was different and nice, however i didn’t quite enjoy the creme brulee as much. But the food is outstanding. Would 1000% recommend to visit

We ended up going to the restaurant at Le Pietre Vive 3 times during our short stay in Tuscany. Each time we experienced delicious food and impeccable service in a beautiful location. Many thanks to Gioele and the rest of the team. They always welcomed us with a smile and made sure we had an amazing dinner.

I can't put into words how wonderful this restaurant is. A super warm welcome, extremely attentive service throughout the evening, and the food was simply divine. Thank you so much for places like this still existing.

31/05/2026: A traditional Tuscan restaurant in the village of Colle Val d'Elba. Excellent cuisine and friendly, welcoming service.
18/05/2026: We had a great meal at this small restaurant, especially the poached egg with broad beans, which was fantastic. Be sure to reserve in advance. But definitely recommended.

19/04/2026: We didn't know they were participating in the foodish program, and it was a wonderful discovery. The intimate and quaint place has kind and friendly staff. If you're passing through the Crete Senesi, watch the sunset and then stop here!
