07/05/2026: I've never eaten such a bad pizza in my entire life! NEVER! The first pizza was burnt and tasteless, the second wasn't burnt but still just as bad. I strongly advise against going there. I expressed my feelings to the waitress who was apologetic. I was dismayed to have to pay for what we were served! A disgrace!

We were in the area for a short vacation, and we had dinner and lunch at this wonderful place. From the courteous, friendly, and professional staff who guided us through our selection of dishes, to the fantastic dishes, to the quiet and meticulously maintained, yet comfortable, location surrounded by greenery... without a doubt, you must try it and return! 30/04/2026: A proper Tuscan countryside restaurant: no frills, no tourist traps. The bistecca is the main event, and it delivers. Handmade pasta is solid too. Warm, family-run atmosphere that feels genuinely local. Worth the drive from Siena.

We also had our two month old with us and the staff was very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend. We ordered the timballo rustico, pici ragù, and lamb with the side of the day (seasonal asparagus).

30/04/2026: We didn't stay at the hotel mainly for dinner. The waiter mistakenly served our food to the next table, repeatedly apologizing, but completely ignoring us. We waited almost 50 minutes for our food, and it's highly likely they just gave us the wrong dishes. The beef, ordered medium rare, was served well-done; the foie gras was tasty, but the dumpling wrappers on top were so hard they were impossible to chew. The entire restaurant was blatantly racially discriminatory, but extremely friendly to white tourists—it was probably the worst experience I had in Italy.

03/05/2026: Great little place, in an almost unnoticeable basement. The food selection is adapted to the size of the place, but everything is very tasty and fresh. The owners are very nice and helpful (e.g. with allergies).

20/01/2026: Osteria 101 is a welcoming, characterful place. It offers traditional dishes enhanced with a personal flair that's so effective that they become innovative, simply and effortlessly. I had the cabbage soup, the beef stew with apples, and the paprika chicken. Each dish had an authentic flavor, reminiscent of old family recipes, but with a touch of professional flair. The restaurant is run by young people with a strong desire to do things right. And they succeed with flying colors.

05/05/2026: My husband and I visited this restaurant last night, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting perfect for a relaxed evening out together. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and everything felt thoughtfully done. The food was definitely the highlight. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and you could really tell that fresh ingredients and care went into every bite. We especially appreciated how well everything was paced, giving us time to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a memorable night for both of us. Whether you’re going for a special occasion or just a cozy dinner, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be coming back.

09/06/2026: Fantastic Florentine Steak ! Super tender, juicy and smoky. The meat has exceptional quality that just melts in your mouth ! Every bite felt like paradise !!

06/06/2026: It's like eating with your whole extended family in your grandmother's house if she lived in Tuscany. With that it's a communal dining experience like no other. And now about the food, it's some of the best food you'll ever eat. Best flavors you'll ever experience and your palate will never taste any of anything like this again. Single-Handedly the biggest steak I've ever seen and the best steak I've ever eaten in my entire lifetime. The steak is the size of the old 96er from the movie The Great Outdoors. Pastas were all amazing first courses, Second course and appetizers are out of this world . Flavor combos I've never seen before. It opened at 7:30 and it was entirely booked up. So if you don't make reservations early you won't be able to get in. If you're visiting montafluciano or anywhere nearby, you owe it to yourself to try this restaurant. And last but not least, let's talk about the prices as an American. I've been to worst steakhouses and paid twice as much the prices are the some of the best you can get at a restaurant of that quality. The pictures I have attached. Don't do it. Justice in both pictures. I started eating before I took a picture so both dishes are actually bigger than the pic I was so blown away. I completely forgot about getting a picture before eating. It smelled just that good.

20/03/2026: Recommended to us by staff at a local winery, we first appreciated the approach, which is summed up in the menu's introduction (see photo). Everything was good, with the artichoke steamed in apple cider vinegar being exceptional (according to those who ate it). We appreciated the value for money. Recommended.
