28/03/2025: Beautiful discovery! La Bandita Townhouse is not just a restaurant, but an EXPERIENCE to do, absolutely! Suggestive location, alternative and exquisite dishes, refined and excellent wines and then there's her, Monica! Monica is a hurricane of professionalism and friendliness, a living encyclopedia regarding wines and stories of the Val d'Orcia: she will accompany you in what will turn out to be not "just" a dinner, but an evening full of laughter, discoveries and curiosities. When you say "put heart and passion into" you do it: at the Bandita Townhouse everyone knows how to do it, and very well! Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

14/03/2025: Avevamo prenotato un appartamento in questo bellissimo paesino, per una gara ciclistica a Siena e abbiamo scoperto questo fantastico ristorante per caso! Tutto perfetto, mangiato la miglior Ribollita di sempre, Fiorentina top e degli Gnudi gustosissimi. Simone e sua moglie deliziosi Torneremo sicuro!

08/03/2025: We found this place by chance and luckily they had a table available without having booked. The lady who welcomed us was very kind, the place was small but welcoming. Two of us tasted the appetizers: cabbage roll with sausage and potato pie with pecorino and speck, the first courses: pici with Tuscan sauce and porcini and speck lasagne, the desserts: tiramisu and Nutella log with ice cream. All very good at a decidedly honest price.

05/11/2024: In all of Siena, but also in all of Italy and I don't think I'd say it's nonsense if I extend the action plan to all of Europe, you can't find a store better stocked with gluten free, lactose free and excellent local products! In fact, in the store you can find organic fruit and vegetables, excellent quality meat and fish, but also mouth-watering homemade veg products! The owners are super kind, welcoming and also offer refreshment service with salads, wraps, Cecina, homemade bread and delicious delicacies. As a side dish, but no less important, they also have dried fruit, cereals, drinks and more, all organic and chosen with love to take care of both the customer's body and spirit. Super recommended!

22/10/2024: I discovered Oasi Verde on my last day in Siena and wished I had found it sooner! They offer a variety of healthy products to take away as well as delicious meals to enjoy on-site. I tried a dreamy vegan ice cream and a salad that was simply perfect. It's not easy to find places like this in Italy, and Oasi Verde truly feels like a green oasis amidst all the gluten and sugar. Their products are organic, and the owner is very attentive to ensuring your meal meets your expectations. I would definitely go back!

I can write in capital letters that last night's experience was above all expectations. for the kitchen, the service and the environment. A huge positive note to Mr. Rocco and his entire wonderful team. High praise from all of us and if I could I would give a score of 10 stars, because five stars is like giving an incomplete rating. I am a very difficult person to please, but I would like to point out that last night I left the restaurant truly satisfied. Thank you all and we'll see you again soon, William.

06/03/2025: If you get tired of pappardelle, sauces and Chianina in Tuscany, come to the Gallo Nero. Ask for the menu, which must be illustrated, to then taste as much as culinary wisdom can.

23/02/2025: Let me join those honest and genuine food lovers who have given Il Casaero 5.0. O don’t give it a 6 because it’s not in the chart! Unexpected, authentic, cozy, innovative and delicious. We loved every second of our lunch there and we liked it so much, we will make room in our schedule to return there before we fly back home. Amazing!

07/03/2025: I had an absolutely wonderful evening at this bottega! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. The food was exceptional—each dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. You could tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the menu offered a great variety to satisfy every taste. The pairing with their drinks was also spot-on, adding to the overall experience. The service was impeccable—quick, professional, and with a smile. It’s rare to find such a seamless combination of great food, excellent drinks, and such attentive service. 01/04/2025: Pleasant environment, attentive and kind service. We took a platter for 1 person but plenty for 2, two ribollitas and two glasses of red brunello and coffee. Spent around 60.00. Worth coming back for both the ambience and the menu.

07/01/2025: Space. We ended up here by chance: the sweetness and helpfulness of the owners made us fall in love. Welcoming environment, with attention to the smallest details. The dishes are absolutely delicious, fantastic pici with wild boar with an extra touch (to be discovered). For the second course we chose some vegetables: absolutely fabulous, from their garden; the chef cooks them in a surprising way. Selection of castle wines. In short, we would never go away again. Highly recommended from all points of view.

13/03/2025: We came across this wonderful locanda during a trip to the Crete Senesi. The offer is small but nice! Wonderful antipasti, pasta and dolce. Very good house wine and a strong espresso at the end. You can take lovely walks in this small town and enjoy the Crete landscape. Friendly service, very good price-performance ratio.

Don't be disenchanted by the short dirt road leading upward to this beautiful little boutique hotel, because at the top of the knoll sits the charm and luxury you hoped for in Tuscany. We stayed in the deluxe king room with a view. We were so enchanted we stayed one extra night and even then, hated to leave. I underscore every compliment expressed by others, regarding the staff. They're fabulous and work diligently to make your stay comfortable and memorable, and they make all that look effortless. Kudos to Niccolo who shared fun conversation with us while still managing the operations. We felt like family. We did indulge in the 2 hour wellness experience and WOW! Do that! We also took a cooking lesson from the chef which was private, informative and simply delightful. This is located in the perfect place - away from the crowds but close enough to everything. Drive less than an hour in almost any direction through the gorgeous Tuscan countryside and your pick of wineries and history are at your fingertips. What adjective best describes this place? Fantastic? Awesome? Luxurious? Charming? yes - yes-yes!

06/01/2025: Found on Booking, but booked directly through them at a great price for 2 nights, it is a Relais with all the comforts you need on a holiday, very quiet and suggestive location, we were at the beginning of January, welcoming and familiar environment, very large room, with welcome prosecco, incredibly kind and always available staff, a special mention for Cristina and Nicola, excellent breakfast, with a good variety of sweet and savory products, their restaurant is worth trying, few tables, but excellent cuisine, it is located 15 minutes from the center of Siena, we will definitely be back.
