The owner is a wonderful person, very helpful and friendly. You can tell he loves his job, and it always pays off. Excellent dishes with sophisticated pairings and quality ingredients. The purple potato gnocchi with gorgonzola fondue, which wasn't on the menu that day, were spectacular. They offer a small welcome appetizer and homemade cantucci. Highly recommended, and congratulations to the entire staff! If we return to the area, we'll definitely stop by to enjoy the owner's warm welcome, which truly won us over. If there were six stars, I would have given them all!

16/05/2026: An excellent restaurant. We had guinea pig, lamb, octopus, and pasta with white truffle. Everything was perfectly prepared. We were lucky and found a table; if you arrive too late, you'll be sold out.
13/05/2026: The food was really good. I recommend the tagliatelle with truffles, which are delicious. The roast potatoes and the tagliata were also excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. Thank you!

NEVER!
The first pizza was burnt and tasteless, the second wasn't burnt but still just as bad.
I strongly advise against going there.
I expressed my feelings to the waitress who was apologetic.
I was dismayed to have to pay for what we were served!
A disgrace!

08/05/2026: I had been to this restaurant a few years ago and had eaten very well. I went there again a few days ago and the management had changed and the chef had changed. The menu also offers very few dishes where you can't find real Tuscan cuisine.

28/04/2026: We were in Siena for the weekend after a few years away from the city. We had a vegetarian pizza and a pastorella with added gorgonzola... The pizzas were amazing, especially the latter! Thin and crispy dough, tasty toppings! All the staff were incredibly kind and made the atmosphere very family-friendly. Thank you for your hospitality, and keep up the good work!
21/04/2026: Stumbled upon this pizzeria while walking around Siena. Definitely one of my favorite experience in the city. The staff was super nice and the pizzas were really good! Worth a detour from the bustle of the touristique center of Siena!

20/01/2026: Osteria 101 is a welcoming, characterful place. It offers traditional dishes enhanced with a personal flair that's so effective that they become innovative, simply and effortlessly. I had the cabbage soup, the beef stew with apples, and the paprika chicken. Each dish had an authentic flavor, reminiscent of old family recipes, but with a touch of professional flair. The restaurant is run by young people with a strong desire to do things right. And they succeed with flying colors.

03/05/2026: What can I say... Grillo Moro is one of those rare places where you immediately feel at ease as soon as you enter. We were in the area for a short vacation, and we had dinner and lunch at this wonderful place. From the courteous, friendly, and professional staff who guided us through our selection of dishes, to the fantastic dishes, to the quiet and meticulously maintained, yet comfortable, location surrounded by greenery... without a doubt, you must try it and return! As we will every time we're in the area. Thank you!
30/04/2026: A proper Tuscan countryside restaurant: no frills, no tourist traps. The bistecca is the main event, and it delivers. Handmade pasta is solid too. Warm, family-run atmosphere that feels genuinely local. Worth the drive from Siena.

Everything was good, with the artichoke steamed in apple cider vinegar being exceptional (according to those who ate it). We appreciated the value for money. Recommended.

Friendly and attentive staff
The food was excellent. We had excellent Tuscan prosciutto, and the pici with Cinta Senese white ragù was spectacular. The dessert was delicious, and the wine was excellent—a Chianti Riserva, I don't remember the cellar.
For those visiting the Rapolano spa, I absolutely recommend it as an essential stop for a nice dinner after a day at the spa, like we did.
