09/08/2024: Found this place, recommended in the "back roads to Italy". I would highly recommend it. Great tasting food, quick and friendly service. Convivial atmosphere, overlooking the cathedral. Located on a steep street, the table and chairs have different up hill and down hill legs, putting in mind a haggis and how to catch one! English spoken. Go there!

22/07/2024: A fixed stop for two years now, a place that you absolutely must try. It's a place where my girlfriend and I felt pampered. A restaurant with meticulous attention to detail, a beautiful location located in a former convent all in stone, delicious dishes and a special mention to the staff who pampers you by telling you stories about the wines that are recommended based on the courses, at least that's what they did with us Monica is a girl who should be an example for the waiter profession. Their tiramisu and ravioli with ossobuco are delicious, not to mention the pork belly cooked for 24 hours; my girlfriend also really liked the pasta with lemon cream. We thank everyone again and in particular Monica for this one-of-a-kind experience, we will be back again!!

20/07/2024: The service and atmosphere of this restaurant were very good. However, among the foods I ordered, some were delicious and some were not so tasty. The salad and cold pumpkin soup were delicious, but the pasta I ate as the main dish wasn't very tasty.

13/08/2024: A tourist restaurant in a pleasant garden setting. In the kitchen, we play a well-known score, with certainly good products, without the flavors being there all the time. The wine list is serious, extensive with a very good lineup of local wineries. The service is friendly but slightly messy. In short, a pleasant table, but don't expect a culinary slap in the face.

28/08/2024: Perfetto per un pranzo light o una sosta veloce, con tavolini all aperto. Crostini, insalatone, panini. Top il crostone con pecorino fuso e tartufo. Piatti semplici ma fatti con cura.

In August, it seems you need to book 2 days in advance because it is a small restaurant with limited seating. Overall Experience: Despite the wait and effort, it was well worth it because the food is very tasty.

26/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto questo posto in base alle indicazioni sul sito e per la sua posizione, centrale in Montalcino e vicino al nostro B&B. Inoltre ci attirava il fatto di essere anche un'enoteca. Siamo stati accolti in maniera molto cordiale e professionale. Al tavolo siamo stati seguiti principalmente da Abi, che ci ha saputo ottimamente consigliare sia per il cibo ma soprattutto per il vino. Inoltre volendo consumare un calice di Brunello come "fine pasto", sempre Abi non solo ci ha consigliato ma ci ha fatto anche assaggiare ben tre tipi diversi di Brunello per poter sceglierequello che più soddisfaceva i nostri gusti. Consiglio quindi vivamente questo ristorante-enoteca, molto bello anche per i suoi inteni.

25/08/2024: Premetto che dopo 3 giorni di cibo pressoché mediocre in Val d’Orcia, poco autentico, abbiamo finalmente trovato un ristorante/enoteca dove ogni piatto è particolarmente curato e gustoso, non banale. Complimenti anche per la varietà: non solo chianina e pecorino, (che sinceramente ci uscivano dagli occhi!) Piatti anche per vegetariani. Brunello ovviamente superbo, possibilità di fare una degustazione durante il pasto e poterlo poi acquistare, senza nessuna pressione! Perfetto!!

27/07/2024: We stopped on the way back from a trip... and it was a pleasant discovery, both from the point of view of the well-kept and clean location, and from the point of view of the food with a truly incredible quality/price ratio.... I recommend to finish the meal with the homemade desserts which are exceptional!!!

24/08/2024: What an amazing experience. Booked as part of a Tuscany day tour, and probably the highlight. A delightful wine tasting along with a wonderful lunch. What more could you want, oh yes they deliver all of their wine and delicious olive oil, all around the world.

17/08/2024: Wonderful tour experience, the UX (user experience) was very well laid out and the wine experts were just that. So happy we booked this tour. The legend really adds a new layer to the understanding of the wine culture here.

25/08/2024: The tagliolini with truffles are truly excellent even though this is not the season for truffles. Very friendly staff, minimal waiting times. Price appropriate for the quality of the food.

31/07/2024: Als je snel snel wil lunchen moet je dat niet hier doen, maar als je de meest authentieke en gepasioneerde ervaring wil meemaken moet je hier zeker heen gaan!! De eigenaar doet er alles aan om er een ervaring van te maken, hij bereid alles zorgvuldig zelf voor en geeft bij ieder stukje vlees en kaas een uitleg en unieke tips. Hiervoor doet hij zijn uiterste best. Je ziet dat hij dit met alle liefde en passie doet. Dit was echt onze mooiste ervaring in San Gimignano die we voor geen goud wilde missen! Dus ga zitten (wel beperkt plek maar wacht eventueel buiten even tot er iets vrij komt) bestel de vlees en kaas plank, en ga achterover zitten met een wijntje en geniet van deze ervaring!! Een echte aanrader.

30/08/2024: On the 11th of June 2024 we had our most fantastic dream wedding in the “oh so beautiful” Tuscany in Italy. We fell in love with a very specific venue - a beautiful country site/Agriturismo called Belagaggio. A special Thank You to Giorgio and the staff for helping us plan the most perfect 3 days with our closest family and friends. We had only seen the place online and we were so excited to see it in real life. Let me tell you: it did not disappoint. This place was everything we had ever imagined - so absolutely perfect. Romantic, authentic, intimate, warm, beautiful views, garden, landscape. It was Spot On! And it wasn’t only the place that was perfect - the food, the beverages - and then definitely the Service. Everything went accordingly and so much better than we could have ever imagined. Thank you!

29/07/2024: To Giorgio, Sergio, Antonellia, Marta, Luca, Angela, Bruna, and the rest of the family, wow where do I even begin. From the minute we came to see the venue in February 2023 the family at Belagaggio made us feel right at home. We instantly fell in love with the venue, the views, the food, the people - it was all absolutely stunning. Giorgio showed us around, sharing the different options on how we could host the wedding, with his different ideas and experiences. I was very keen to have our 3 day wedding as “3 different events” - Girigio was amazing with sharing different set up ideas. In the following months and the lead up to the wedding, we did a lot of planning, Giorgio was brilliant at communicating and super helpful with anything we asked. We came back to the venue to do wine and food tasting and wow the food was just amazing. The venue were brilliant for anyone with dietary requirements, especially my dad would doesn’t eat pasta or pizza - the team were sooo accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. The venue is so well kept, the team look after it so well - you can really tell from the gardens, to the buildings, to the bedrooms - it’s immaculate! Our guests were completely blown away by the venue, the food, the service and the views - a few people said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and a 5* wedding - not a lot of people can say that. Giorgio played a huge part in our wedding, he and his team executed our wedding so perfectly, we wouldn’t change a thing. We’ll never forgot him or his family, who now hold a big piece of our hearts - we’ll be forever grateful for them. I’ll miss working with Giorgio and seeing his team - but it’s safe to say, we’ll be back to visit in a heart beat and we’re already thinking when can we come back to visit. Loads of love to Giorgio, family and team ❤️

08/08/2024: Heerlijk eten! Een keuze menu kost er maar €30,- en je krijgt meer eten dan je op kunt. En alles is heerlijk. Lieve mensen, je ziet dat het een familiebedrijf is. En dat ze allemaal hun best om je een fijne avond te bezorgen

31/07/2024: Erano anni volevo tornarci, ne avevo un bel ricordo. Carne pessima così era tanto che non la trovavo. Ho assaggiato tre piatti diversi, posso dirlo con sicurezza. Birre speciali ottime, costose ma... Ci può stare. Servizio scadente: non siamo stati considerati per un bel po', mi hanno portato l acqua alla terza richiesta. E i piatti sono arrivati dopo più di un'ora che siamo arrivati. Ma d'altronde ci è voluto solo mezz'ora tra essere considerati e aver potuto fare ordinazione. No, mi dispiace. Per me non ci siamo. Peccato perché il posto molto carino e si presta bene per passarci una bella serata d'estate.

28/07/2024: Locale particolarissimo, offre cibi che non trovi facilmente in zona, Niccolò molto preparato sui prodotti che serve ai clienti, soprattutto per la birra!! Abbiamo mangiato uno spiedone gigante e la fonduta di formaggio Chimay fenomenale!
