14/05/2026: Great experience! Truly delicious food, from the cheese platter to the white ragù to the meat. The place is welcoming and well-kept, with friendly, kind, and helpful staff. When we got the bill, there was an error in the order, but as soon as we realized it the next day, they were quick to correct it and refund us the difference. Their attention to customer service is truly appreciated. Recommended!

08/05/2026: Great restaurant. We went back twice. The pistachio pasta and salmon tartare are amazing, the saffron pasta is also delicious, and the grilled seafood is a real treat.

03/05/2026: We had a Quattro Stagioni pizza and Pici al Pomodoro. It was by far the best pizza I've ever eaten. The dough was light and fluffy, just the way I like it. I'll definitely come back here.

02/05/2026: A restaurant with an excellent location in the center of Siena. Beautiful and welcoming. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and knows how to put guests at ease. The first courses are very good, and the pizza is also exceptional. Good selection of wines. Worth a visit.

Beneath the building are the historic cellars of Tenuta Squarcialupi, where Chianti is still aged today: these fascinating and evocative spaces are open to visitors. The restaurant offers a traditional Tuscan menu, expertly revisited by chef Francesco Costagli. The pasta is carefully prepared by chef Alessio Perna, a true master. The service is attentive, friendly, and, dare I say, impeccable. A truly exceptional culinary experience: I highly recommend lunch or dinner here. Special praise goes to the owner, Mauro Maestrini, a true master of the art. The entire team, from the kitchen to the dining room, deserves praise for their professionalism and dedication. An experience worth repeating... the only risk: it can be addictive! 😊

01/05/2026: We had (or we thought we have a reservation in another restaurant), but it turned out to be closed. Trying to find a place nearby without reservation and last minute, we bumped into this place which was full mainly with locals, but also few tourists like us. We were lucky they could find us a table and we enjoyed fantastic food. Atmosphere and service are also very good. Highly recommend it!

17/04/2026: It was a wonderful experience, the staff were very kind, the place was beautiful and quaint. I felt pampered throughout; they even treated me to a wakiu carpaccio. I had the meat, and it was delicious and the price was right.

20/04/2026: The food was incredible (the crostoni were very tasty and prepared with care; if we hadn't planned to eat at another restaurant afterward, we would have stayed and eaten there). The recipes are well thought out and balanced—perfect. The wine was also very good! Impeccable service, helpful explanations from the manager, and a very good wine selection. If we had discovered this place sooner, we would definitely have returned (but thanks to it, we ended our trip on a high note)!

06/05/2026: Super affordable, family friendly, delicious place to go. The town is beautiful and the people are so nice. We went about an hour before closing and they were so accommodating even that close to closing.

30/04/2026: We ordered a takeaway pizza. The welcome wasn't particularly warm; were we bothering them? The four-cheese pizza was pretty average. After three weeks in Italy, we've had much better. Thin crust, a little bit of cheese, and that was it. Finally, it's rather expensive compared to other regions of Italy, but then again, this is Tuscany...

The staff is extremely friendly and professional, welcoming guests with meticulous attention to detail. A highly recommended venue.

04/05/2026: Stumbled into this family restaurant entirely by accident. I was looking for squid ink pasta and GMaps directed me here and was disappointed that they don't have it (anymore?). Since it's quite a walk from the main road, we decided to stay and just eat there. First off, they're a small family owned restaurant. We arrived at 12, when the restaurant opens, and the owners were eating. They were done shortly after but this is what I was hoping for: small family owned restaurant with home cooking away from tourist traps. We ordered the tripe (trippa), chicken (pollo alla contadina), and the tagliatelle pesto with pistacchio and pomodorini. Every dish was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and walk the extra 5-10 minutes to and fro from the main square and try this restaurant out. You won't be disappointed and the family there that runs it are so sweet.

23/11/2025: The name has basically changed. The spaces are still the same, spacious and well-lit, as the previous owner. The staff is young and friendly. With full dining rooms, there are some inaccuracies with orders, but they can definitely improve. I had a good time.

08/04/2026: We had a great lunch here! Food was incredible, great wine selection, excellent service and a amazing atmosphere. We also had our two month old with us and the staff was very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend. We ordered the timballo rustico, pici ragù, and lamb with the side of the day (seasonal asparagus).
