15/03/2026: Cannot overstate how good the food was. We ordered the ribeye chefs selection and truffle mashed potatoes. Both absolutely knocked our socks off. Best steak we have ever had hands down. Atmosphere was fantastic with it being in an underground basement with stone walls and arches that really reflect the history of the town. Service was excellant as well. Possibly most surprising was that the prices were absolutely reasonable. This restaurant could charge much more based on the food quality and atmostphere. Chef is an artist. Also, not crowded at all. Absolutely must come to this place.
24/12/2025: The fiorentina steak was unbelievably good. This place is a hidden gem. The service was amazing.

21/02/2026: I recommend this wonderful restaurant in Siena's historic center to everyone. It offers a varied menu of fish and meat. The dishes are expertly prepared, and the ingredients are of excellent quality.
The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Excellent value for money.

The atmosphere was simple, well-kept, and clean, as were the bathrooms.

20/01/2026: Osteria 101 is a welcoming, characterful place. It offers traditional dishes enhanced with a personal flair that's so effective that they become innovative, simply and effortlessly. I had the cabbage soup, the beef stew with apples, and the paprika chicken. Each dish had an authentic flavor, reminiscent of old family recipes, but with a touch of professional flair. The restaurant is run by young people with a strong desire to do things right. And they succeed with flying colors.

The owner is a wonderful person, very helpful and friendly. You can tell he loves his job, and it always pays off. Excellent dishes with sophisticated pairings and quality ingredients. The purple potato gnocchi with gorgonzola fondue, which wasn't on the menu that day, were spectacular. They offer a small welcome appetizer and homemade cantucci. Highly recommended, and congratulations to the entire staff! If we return to the area, we'll definitely stop by to enjoy the owner's warm welcome, which truly won us over. If there were six stars, I would have given them all!

16/01/2026: Only a few tables, but a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent service and a friendly owner. Carefully prepared food and a wide selection on the menu. Definitely a place to return for lunch, dinner, or just a pizza, which they also offer takeout.
15/01/2026: A Gem in a small town ! Great service, a cozy and welcoming environment and most likely the best pizza i have ever had. It was a little lunch stop prior to a wedding in the town chiesa. Cant recommend enough! Grazie mile !

08/03/2026: Excellent osteria for sampling typical local products. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The grilled pecorino cheese is recommended, but everything else was delicious, too. Reservations are not accepted for lunch.
06/03/2026: We had lunch at this little osteria and it was a truly fantastic discovery. Almost all the products are locally sourced, incredibly fresh and delicious. The quality of the ingredients is simply undeniable!
The service is second to none, and the location, in a small central square, is far from the hustle and bustle!
I recommend anyone passing through to stop by this little spot. We'll definitely be back!

09/02/2026: A place from another era, the dining room certainly isn't the most modern, but inside you can feel the spartan, timeless charm of bold Tuscany. Homemade, fresh dishes, made with top-quality ingredients, and truly affordable prices. As it is, it's a classic trattoria that always proves to be a sure thing, far from those places that turn out to be tourist traps. A family-run local restaurant. Their Cinta Senese ragù with pinci is unparalleled: a spectacle! Dishes are paired with local wines, usually from the Fanti winery. The view from the dining room is spectacular.
06/01/2026: We were lucky enough to find a spot on the veranda, which was definitely better than the dining room at the entrance. The waitress was very kind and helpful, even though she was alone that day, and as soon as a few more people arrived, service began to slow down considerably. The house antipasto is absolutely worth it; the bruschetta was one better than the last! As for the Pinci, however, we were disappointed both by the pasta (overcooked) and by the sauce for the pinci with ragù, which was delicious, but we weren't thrilled with the fact that it was "supported" by the white pasta. The house wine was good! Overall, it's a place I recommend for its value!

30/11/2025: I tried the porchetta, which was really good. The place is surrounded by greenery, so it's nice. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a perfect place for away fans.

24/01/2026: New menu featuring Wagyu beef, simply buttered. Centrally located restaurant in Gaiole in Chianti, the staff is always friendly and accommodating to guests' requests. The menu is extremely varied, with the undeniable highlight being the abundance of various cuts of meat. Congratulations again to Alma, Ado, and the entire staff.
