A dear colleague had recommended this gem to me! The view from the outside is unforgettable, where you can enjoy an aperitif while soaking up the sun. The stone interior tells the story of San Gemignano, a truly enchanting place. We had lunch in a cozy alcove, pampered by the restaurateur and the waiters. Massimo & co. are a well-orchestrated team, and the dishes are truly delicious. They don't serve dishes "concocted" for foreign tourists who have little understanding of the authenticity of the area. The plate of mixed pecorino cheeses with jams was truly special, and the steak with potatoes and vegetables was excellent. For dessert,
we chose the tiramisu: amazing. Excellent in everything: welcome, hospitality, professionalism!

Popped in for a drink at launch and got a vibe that it would be nice so after a walk returned for lunch. Brilliant food beautifully presented and full of love. An absolute find.

Number one restaurant in San Gimignano.
Massimo, the owner, and his team form a perfect team: excellent service, cuisine, and hospitality. They delighted us with a dining and wine tasting experience worthy of a Michelin star.
Book in advance because it's a cozy place with limited seating.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Congratulations to the entire team!

I dined here last night with my fiance and have to say, it was absolutely exceptional. Massimo and Luca, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. We had the most perfect little table set in a grotto type area within the stone walls inside which made it even more perfect. We had the vegan tartare to start, which was the highlight of the menu for us, despite us not being vegan/vegetarian ourselves. We loved that Massimo created this dish for his vegan wife, maybe the love that went in to it is what makes it so special! We then opted to share the Pici for our pasta dish and the wild boar stew for our main, which were both delicious. They even split each dish into two mini portions for us which added a nice touch. Lastly we shared the home made tirramisu, perhaps the best we have ever tried. Both the red and white house wines were also very good! I could not fault a thing about this restaurant and would highly recommend to anyone visiting San Gimignano

Truly excellent wine produced directly on site (try the Cabernet, which we bought a bottle of after dinner to take home).
Truly remarkable cured meats. Worth it as an appetizer, despite being the most expensive dish on the menu.
The first courses (paccheri) were also excellent.
Very good beef tagliata, and the wild boar was superb.
My compliments for the food and service: very fast, efficient, and friendly.

Mr. Massimo is a very kind, generous, and attentive person. The food is exquisite, and the restaurant is beautiful, with breathtaking views.
They make their own wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and dessert wine. I highly recommend it.
