04/11/2025: Amazing ambience, great service and food make us come back every year for the last 3 years. The staff is very kind and flexible with vegan options, which is not common in the area. Best dessert I’ve ever tried and great wine selection. Make sure to make a reservation. Parking available right outside or along the alley to the right of the restaurant.

31/10/2025: Great food, friendly staff. The place is a bit pricey but doable. Even our 7 yo son enjoyed his gnocchi. However, absence of any non-sparkling soft drinks (except for water) was a surprise for such a high class facility.

09/11/2025: My family and I went to Oro di Siena to celebrate my mum’s birthday and it was amazing!!! Making a reservation was so easy and they were very quick to respond. Two of us were vegan and they were so accommodating, making a full vegan menu. The atmosphere is so lovely there and the food was absolutely delicious. Matteo and his mum (the chef) made our experience in Siena wonderful.

30/10/2025: We visited for lunch on a weekday in October. We had eaten a lot of traditional Tuscan food (pici, pappa al pomodoro, etc etc) and were looking to find some more unique, elevated dishes. oro hit the spot. They had great modern Tuscan food. As an appetizer We ordered pappa del pomodoro that came as 3 toasted balls of the soup with Tuscan cabbage, and Tuscan kale. We then had two primo: a gnocchi with pesto and a pappardelle with hare. Both were excellent. The gnocchi was simple, pillowy, and delicious. The pappardelle with hare was an uncanny match for chicken soup flavor, in a good way. The pappardelle was the best I had in Italy with a great spring to it without being too chewy or too soft. We finished with a main of meatballs with a tomato sauce on a bed of thinly sliced Tuscan cabbage that has been sauted. The meatballs and cabbage went together perfectly to create a beautiful and unique dish. Overall the dishes were unique takes on classic Tuscan ingredients and dishes. In my opinion it was our best meal in Italy. 5/5

13/11/2025: We had an absolutely wonderful time at Azienda Nenci! I celebrated my 24th birthday here, and everything was simply perfect, from the warm atmosphere to the breathtaking views. The food was outstanding, especially the platters, which were full of authentic Tuscan flavors. And the wine… truly on another level! What made it special is that it didn’t feel touristy at all, just a genuine, local experience where you can truly feel the essence of rural Tuscany. Every detail reflected care, tradition, and passion. Thank you for making this celebration so memorable. I can’t imagine a better place to experience the real soul of Tuscany. 🍷🌿

A simple, authentic, and truly delightful place.

All the dishes were delicious. The bread and gelato were homemade. The staff and chef were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Highly recommended! Plus, the quality/price ratio was excellent.

06/11/2025: Every visit to Montepulciano wouldn’t be complete without lunches and dinners at this wonderful place. Vittorio and Cristiana are the heart and soul of the place, their hospitality is truly outstanding. The food is always amazing, from the fresh handmade pasta made by Vittorio to the excellent, perfectly balanced desserts prepared by Cristiana. This is our fourth time coming back to Montepulciano just to eat here, and we’ll definitely keep returning. A true gem! We cannot wait to be back already!

The cuisine is always excellent, with carefully prepared dishes packed with flavor. Every year we eagerly await the pumpkin gnocchi with creamed cheese and truffle soup—they're truly special, a masterpiece! Chef Walter is brilliant; you can see the passion and care he puts into every dish. The staff is always kind and attentive. A restaurant we always return to with pleasure!

21/09/2025: We stumbled upon this gelateria because it was the only one open in the area on a Sunday evening. We opted for two small cones with two flavors (€2.80 each): hazelnut and pistachio, and Modica chocolate and lemon. I didn't have time to take a photo because I literally devoured it. Excellent flavor, excellent product quality, and truly generous portions! The owners are incredibly kind and smiling. I highly recommend them!
