23/05/2026: We were served by the owner, a very pleasant, delightful man who made our dinner experience very enjoyable. I absolutely loved their short pasta with smoked ham & blue cheese sauce- just amazing flavor. Even the side salad was fresh, tasty and quite large. I will definitely be coming back!
22/05/2026: I went for lunch with a small group of locals.
The bruschetta, affettati, and formaggi were plentiful but very average. Most people ordered primi, including tagliatelle ai funghi that were literally swimming in oil. I had the worst insalata caprese of my life: bits of generic mozzarella served with quartered tomatoes and lettuce, without basil leaves or oil.
It's worth noting that the dishes aren't prepared on-site but simply reheated. The service was very slow, the prices were high, and it's definitely for tourists.

13/06/2026: One of the best meals we had in Italy. We had the cavatelli with fresh vegetables from the farm and the ravioli. Also had a wine pairing, tiramisu and chocolate torte. The views were incredible and service was excellent. Just a great place and short drive (5mins) from city center in Montalcino.

14/06/2026: A small restaurant with a simple and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for those seeking good food without breaking the bank. I appreciated the quality of the dishes, carefully prepared with well-chosen ingredients. The value for money is also excellent, an increasingly difficult one to find. The friendly service and informal atmosphere immediately put you at ease. A pleasant discovery, definitely worth considering if you're in the area.

18/05/2026: The pistachio ice cream (our comparison flavor) definitely deserves 6/5 stars – only the one in Verona had a few more pieces 😜. We also tried mango/passion fruit, strawberry, and biscotti, and all were delicious. Highly recommended, get your world-class ice cream!

17/05/2026: Rosso Rubino is a must-try if you’re visiting Montepulciano. The garlic pici was so amazing we were eating spoonfuls of the sauce when it was done. Also, the tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had. They only do one seating every night so make sure to reserve in advance. You will need to call or email them to make a reservation.

26/05/2026: We ate here but didn't stay overnight. The food is truly excellent and authentic. If you want to enjoy genuine Tuscan cuisine, this is the place to go. The restaurant was also frequented mostly by locals. Highly recommended.

30/04/2026: Superb. Everything was delicious, the food was excellent, and the outdoor seating area was stunning, nestled in the greenery of a small village near Siena. Extremely kind and friendly staff. Prices were reasonable for the quality and service. Highly recommended!!
Dishes: I recommend the pappardelle with wild boar, ossobuco, and Cinta Senese rib eye!
06/04/2026: Very welcoming place. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, ready to offer the best advice. We ate an excellent Florentine steak paired with a lovely glass of Chianti. I highly recommend it.

Great organic produce to take home - we brought pesto, organic eggs, natural wine, homemade crostata, salamis and they introduced us to the lovely ancient grain bread from their friends which we brought 3 times for our stay. Also their panini's were very delicious! Grazie mille for creating a great place with such amazing focus on high quality produce!
03/05/2026: A great find, and so much to offer! Quality products, all freshly made, with the option to choose the ingredients... and that's how I gave the two lovely owners the idea for this focaccia, which I created with the hope they'll add it to the menu: sweet gorgonzola (exceptional), tuna, sliced red tomatoes, and salad. Delicious!

20/05/2026: The most fascinating and informative experience - and the pizza was truly excellent. We were enthralled listening to the delightful owner explain that this type of pizza is a specialty of beautiful Siena. Ingredients such as pecorino cheese, leeks and local cured meats/ salami. The owner is honestly the nicest man we’ve met in Siena A and best of all - he has an oven fired up, and bakes the pizza to your order. Most other shops around here sell cold pizza and heat it up, not here- it’s made to order. Delicious and fantastic attention to detail and hygiene. We thank you for this truly magical experience in Siena.

13/06/2026: Meat served on a cold wooden board, various wines offered on the menu but not in the cellar. However, on the fourth bottle of wine, the cork has a problem and the opening is hidden. We are offered a tasting with a cork in the glass, but we decline, a piece of cork literally floating in the bottle. A quick trip to the kitchen and we are offered the same wine filtered into a glass jug... politely, we decline again. However, the price of the bottle (very high) seems to be included in the final bill. Stunned by such poor manners, we leave, disappointed.

16/05/2026: This charming little restaurant with its romantic outdoor setting is an absolute must. The heart and soul of this culinary gem is the joviale Simone with his great knowledge of local products and areas. The quality of the food was truly excellent (I recommend the Gnudi Alla Florentina). A truly enjoyable and memorable evening during our Tuscan tour.

02/06/2026: Our small bike tour had a great experience here tonight. Someone else said it perfectly - elegant but not at all stuffy. Delicious homemade meals, excellent service, and beautiful fresh flowers on all the tables.

15/05/2026: Unique in their friendliness and deliciousness, from soup to desserts made by their mother, to Cinta Senese in all its forms (hand-grilled prosciutto, capocollo, salami...) and livers as they were once eaten. Their wine list is truly worth a try.
08/05/2026: We visited this restaurant on a Monday in April. Four of us ordered different dishes, all delicious. The restaurant's home-made products are also available for purchase on site, and all are excellent, making them perfect gifts. Mirela was very welcoming and friendly, serving us quickly and with great courtesy.
