I stumbled upon it by chance and it was simply the best restaurant I went to on my trip to Italy. My dish and my fiancée's were unbelievably good, great wine, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere with a breathtaking view. I highly recommend it.

Everything here is incredible: the location, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of a beautiful village; the food, which is truly sublime (we drove an hour during our stay just to come back!); and the staff! They are so kind, helpful, and friendly, offering great advice, all within a stunning setting.
The next time we return to Tuscany, we'll definitely stay closer to this restaurant, which will become our go-to spot!
Special mention to PierLuigi and his wife, who combine originality and kindness.

Truly Italian! Run by the family!
And even though you might suspect that Montepulciano would be overrun by tourist traps for and by the many tourists, this is one of the gems. Lovely atmosphere. Proud pater familias who reaches out to you in an extremely friendly manner and can be proud of what the menu offers and how refined the flavors are. Wonderfully relaxed and enjoyed the delicious food.

A magnificent place with exceptional views. The menu is very traditional and features excellent truffle dishes. The service is delightful, provided by several very polite and professional gentlemen. I'm not a big fan of the owner's numerous songs, which leave you wondering what to do during them. But overall, a very good place to eat.

The best Italian food by far. The pictures and the reviews don’t do justice to how beautiful this restaurant is and how amazing the food is. Wild boar is a must try but you can’t go wrong with any of their dishes. Would be going there again tomorrow. The owner is very sweet and welcoming. He sung a song for us as well. Wine list has some very nice wines as well.

Pierre Luigi is the most gracious and attentive host. His staff are beautifully trained. The setting a decor are exquisite. And the food was amazing! The steak and pasta were absolutely delightful.

The owner greets us and invites us in if we want to eat well. And we didn't have to wait long. Pasta in truffle sauce and spaghetti with monkeys. Delicious. The host says goodbye at the checkout and welcomes us in Polish. Nice.

Well, from the first meeting with the maître d', you understand that here the customer will be respected in all their requests and needs, provided they respect the time and choices typical of this type of restaurant. You're given time to savor, savor, and ponder what's being offered, especially if you know how to listen to the maître d', or to the effervescent owner Pier, or to the fantastic chef. An absolutely must-do experience to pamper your palate and soul. Compliments from a Venetian 'from the land'...
