03/05/2026: This restaurant is a complete disappointment and feels like a classic tourist trap. The sauces were simply awful – completely tasteless, as if they'd been watered down. I was particularly shocked by the supposed "crispy chicken": not crispy at all, not crispy in the slightest, full of bones, and barely edible. The "fried chicken" was even worse – simply disgusting and unappetizing. Overall, absolutely nothing about this place is right: the quality, taste, and preparation are abysmal. Save your money and eat somewhere else. This restaurant should definitely be avoided, especially by tourists.

03/05/2026: Siena is so crowded with tourists that it feels like a tourist attraction. What really impressed me was this restaurant. The food was very authentic, the grilled fish was delicious, and the price was even cheaper than Italian food!

23/06/2025: I was only in Poggibonsi for 3 days, but from the first night I understood that Arturo's pub was a safe haven to end the evening. Quiet people, friendly and fast bartenders, lively and colorful atmosphere. If I have the chance I will definitely go back

22/03/2026: A place I'll never return to. The food is disgusting: microwaved pasta, completely unappetizing. You can tell it comes from a bag and there's no kitchen. The hygiene is appalling, both in the bathroom and the food preparation area. Everything is dirty and neglected. They serve you in plastic and charge a lot for something that's practically worthless. You leave feeling completely ripped off. 😫

18/05/2026: Although it may seem a bit ambiguous and isolated from the outside, once inside it's immediately welcoming. The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly. The food was truly excellent, as were the drinks and the price. We had a great time and highly recommend it. P.S. They also offer fantastic focaccia at the beginning.

The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home; the lady is full of energy and always smiling 😊 The food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. But the real highlight is the restaurant's complete celiac-friendly facilities: a place where you can eat in complete tranquility. Homemade bread, homemade pasta, and a wide selection of pizzas for all tastes... it's really hard to choose! 08/11/2025: A small bakery on the road from Colle Val d'Elsa to Pian della Speranza, before leaving Gracciano, on the left is this small shop that bakes products of infinite goodness, at prices competitive with many other bakeries, including supermarkets, but with much higher quality.

26/04/2026: A PLEASANT DISCOVERY! We came to this restaurant for dinner almost by chance, but it was a delightful discovery. The owner welcomed us warmly and kindly, making us feel at home. He took care of every detail. The food was excellent and rich in flavor. Special thanks to chef James, who even sat down to chat with us, making the experience even more enjoyable. We hope that in the future his origins will be increasingly reflected in his dishes, perhaps with an interesting mix of Tuscan, Spanish, and English influences. It would be a great addition to an already delicious cuisine! Highly recommended for those seeking quality, hospitality, and an authentic atmosphere.

14/12/2025: We ordered two Negronis, which were listed at €5 each on the menu, and a bowl of Ascoli olives listed at €3. Despite this, the final bill was €22, with a €9 difference that we couldn't figure out where it came from. The only thing we hadn't specifically ordered were some rather old chips brought with our drinks, which perhaps were charged without any communication. The overall experience wasn't a positive one: the place, despite it being a Saturday night, was completely empty, and much of the food listed on the menu was no longer available, except for the fried food. Furthermore, when we entered, there was a strong smell of cigarettes, meaning someone had been smoking in the dining room. All things considered, I wouldn't recommend this place.

10/05/2026: Friendly and courteous. Coffee for €1, including a glass of water. Compliments. The same can't be said for some other nearby establishments.

04/05/2026: A very cute bar in the center of Montalcino. It's small inside, but has a lovely outdoor area next to a stunning staircase. The service is very youthful, with friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect for a refreshing break.

02/06/2026: We had a delicious meal; we went for the 7-course dinner. Every course had pure flavors, and what I personally really appreciate is the almost complete lack of repetition of ingredients. It is 100% worth the money.

30/05/2026: Osteria Le Logge – Siena Osteria Le Logge was recommended to us as a place where locals dine in Siena, and its location is excellent—just a short walk from Piazza del Campo, yet far enough from the main square to avoid the crowds and tourist rush. The restaurant has a charming and intimate feel. Upon entering, there is a small dining area to the right and a larger dining room on the main floor. We were seated upstairs, which offered a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. One thing we noticed was that most, if not all, of the guests in the upstairs dining room were English-speaking. It appeared that tourists were seated separately from local Italian diners on the main floor. This is only an observation, and there may be operational reasons for it, but it was something we noticed during our visit. The food was delicious, and the service was professional, prompt, and well organized. The pacing of the meal was excellent, with each course arriving at just the right time. The staff worked efficiently while still maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The only minor drawback was that the upstairs windows were open, and for a few minutes cigarette smoke drifted in from the street below while we were eating. It wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, but it was a little unpleasant during an otherwise enjoyable meal. Overall, we had a very nice dining experience. Great food, attentive service, and a quieter location away from the busiest parts of Siena make Osteria Le Logge a restaurant we would happily recommend. 4.5/5 stars

07/12/2025: Good place. Clean, characteristic and welcoming, where you can eat excellent meat tartare, cold cuts and cheese platters and enjoy a good wine. Very friendly and helpful owners. Fair price. I will definitely be back.

22/12/2025: My daughter celebrated her 18th birthday here, and I have to say it exceeded our expectations. The food was very good, the location was beautiful and evocative, and the owner was very helpful; she even organized the music and decorations for us. I highly recommend it.

27/06/2025: We spent a wonderful, balmy summer evening on the Pietra terrace, enjoying the drinks (fantastic bartender!). The rabbit with rosemary potatoes was particularly delicious, and we highly recommend the pears braised in spices and wine with ice cream. The mix of locals and an international clientele is quite unusual. We look forward to our next visit.

13/06/2025: Writing a review of this 3-star "Hotel" is not easy. Yes, because, reading other reviews, apart from one, the others speak of a structure that absolutely did not reflect what we experienced. Arriving late in the evening, we were told that there was no garage, when at the time of booking, on the phone I had been confirmed the possibility of putting the motorcycle in the garage. GOOD, BUT LET'S GO IN ORDER. THE ROOMS: I WOULD FIRST NOTE THAT WE STAYED FOR TWO NIGHTS AND THE ROOM WAS NEITHER REDONE NOR CLEANED, AS THE RULES OF A 3-STAR HOTEL REQUIRE! WE TAKE THE ROOM CALLED "SUPERIOR" BECAUSE, ACCORDING TO THE MANAGEMENT, IT HAS THE LARGEST BATHROOM. ONCE WE HAVE TAKEN POSSESSION OF THE ROOM, WE REALIZE, WANT TO TAKE A SHOWER, AFTER HOURS AND HOURS OF MOTORCYCLE, THAT THE 3 STAR HOTEL DOES NOT OFFER A SIMPLE HAIR DRYER, WHICH I HAVE TO ASK FOR, THE SAME FATE FOR SHAMPOO OR SHOWER GEL, ONLY TWO, PROVIDED FOR TWO DAYS OF STAY, PRACTICALLY IF THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T ASK FOR IT, THEY SIMPLY DON'T BOTHER TO GIVE IT.. THE "SUPERIOR" ROOM HAS MOSQUITO NETS, BUT THEY OBVIOUSLY CANNOT ELIMINATE THE DANGER OF MOSQUITOES, SINCE I HAVE TO ELIMINATE REAL HELICOPTERS (I TOOK PHOTOS) WHICH FORTUNELY DO NOT STING BUT WHICH TO SEE, AND ABOVE ALL HEARING YOURSELF AT NIGHT IS NOT PLEASANT. THE SHOWER, VERY SMALL, BUT THE UNACCEPTABLE THING IS TO SEE PIGEON DROPPINGS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BATHROOM WINDOW! NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE HAVE KEPT THE BATHROOM WINDOW CLOSED AT ALL TIMES. FORGET ABOUT A MINI FRIDGE, FORGET ABOUT A CLOSET, BUT ONLY A COAT RACK ALONG THE WALL. THE BED: IF YOU LIKE THE 80'S METAL MESH BASE, THEN IT'S PERFECT, INCLUDING METALLIC NOISES AFTERWARDS. THE MATTRESS, INSUFFICIENT. BREAKFAST. IN MANY YEARS OF HONORABLE BIKERS ACTIVITY, I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A BARRELLING AND ABOVE ALL UNACCEPTABLE BREAKFAST. SHOULD I DESCRIBE IT? IT IS ENOUGH TO SAY THAT ON THE SECOND MORNING A CUSTOMER WENT TO GET CROISSANTS AT THE BAR DEL BORGO. THE MUCH-VALUED CUISINE? NOT AVAILABLE! ON THE SECOND EVENING, WE TOLD ONE OF THE GIRLS THAT WE WOULD HAVE LIKED TO DO THE HALF-BOARD MENU, BECAUSE, AS IT WAS A PIZZA ROUND EVENING AT THEIR PLACE AND WE PREFERRED TO EAT TYPICAL CUISINE, WE DID NOT FEEL LIKE EATING PIZZA. WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WAS EASILY POSSIBLE AND THEY OFFERED US SOME TORTELLINI, RABBIT....EHM....YES...TOO BAD THAT WE RETURNED AFTER LESS THAN AN HOUR, AND AFTER ASKING ANOTHER GIRL FROM THE STAFF, WE WERE LITERALLY TOLD THAT WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO EAT, NEITHER TORTELLINI, NOR RABBIT, NOR PIZZA! BECAUSE THE PLACE WAS BY NOW FULL. WHILE THE GIRL WAS EVEN RAISING DOUBT THAT WE HAD MADE PREVIOUS AGREEMENTS ON THE MENU, CLAIMING THAT WE HAD NOT TALKED TO HER AND THAT SHE WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR CONFIRMATION, IN THE MEANTIME SHE CONTINUED TO NOT CARE ABOUT US WHO WERE WAITING, AND CONTINUED TO PREPARE FOR THE PIZZA ROUND. WE PRACTICALLY WAITED FOR HALF AN HOUR FOR HER TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, AS SHE HAD SAID, FORTUNATELY THEY MANAGED TO BOOK AT A RESTAURANT NEARBY AND WE WERE ABLE TO EAT THERE, OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE ALSO REMAINED HUNGRY. THE NEXT DAY, WE ONLY DRINK AN ORANGE DRINK, PACKED OUR BAGS AND LEFT AWAY VERY HAPPY, TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A REAL BREAKFAST. THE ONLY THING WE LIKED? THE ATMOSPHERE, OF THE WHOLE VILLAGE. THE 3 STAR HOTEL "LA PIETRA" HAS A LONG WAY TO GO TO DEFINE ITSELF AS A 3 STAR. PS: DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR THE WIFI PASSWORD, OTHERWISE IF YOU HOPE TO FIND THE INFORMATION IN THE ROOM LIKE ANY SELF-RESPECTING HOTEL, THEN YOU WILL HAVE A BAD SURPRISE. THERE IS NO TV, THE ONLY THING THAT IS WRITTEN ON THE SITE. THIS WAS OUR EXPERIENCE. TESTIFIED BY PHOTOS. THE PRICE IS ABSOLUTELY UNJUSTIFIED FOR WHAT THEY OFFER.
