28/04/2026: A few weeks ago we went to dinner here, and we had fond memories of it, but the other night they charged us 6 euros for a side of potatoes with an EMBARRASSING/SHAMEFUL portion. It was probably 30g of potatoes (at most, one large potato cut into small slices). We won't be going back.

12/04/2026: I remembered a typical, intimate trattoria serving excellent Tuscan cuisine. Thinking I'd make a good impression, I took my wife here for dinner, but the quality was lacking. Two mediocre crostini appetizers, two slices of beef that were supposed to be Chianina beef, but the Chianina had probably escaped! A side of MacDonald's potatoes, two beers, €79.00. A word of advice: move on...

06/06/2026: We had an amazing stay at Borgo la Torre alle Tolfe. This is a truly special place that makes you feel as if you are living in another era. 24/04/2026: I bought a Too Good to Go bag and was very satisfied: there were slices of all different flavors, and even though the pizza wasn't freshly baked, all it took was a little reheating to make it crispy and not rubbery at all. I appreciated that the ciaccino wasn't too salty, as I've often found at other pizzerias in Siena. Finally, the man at the counter who served me (I don't know if he's the owner) was very courteous and always smiling, which is also a rare thing in Siena.

12/06/2026: The restaurant had a nice ambiance, very much like a Western restaurant, and it had three floors with two outdoor tables and chairs. Menus were displayed at the entrance, and the prices were reasonable. While we were arguing about which floor to choose, everyone except us (who were Chinese) was a foreigner! 😂😂😂 I ordered two portions of chili sauce, one quite spicy and one regular, which even a Cantonese person like me could handle. The stir-fried pork intestines were indeed quite fatty. The colorful dumplings were very pretty; I recommend steaming them so the colors show through in the photos. We had the soup version. One portion is enough for two people; don't order two like we did! What's commendable is that every table had fresh roses!!!

29/07/2026: EXCELLENT DISHES ACCOMPANIED BY A BREATHTAKING VIEW AND GOOD WINE Having tasted and appreciated several of the menu items, from appetizers to dessert, during my dinners at Convitto di Curina (yes, I returned several times during my vacation!), I can only recommend it. Excellent raw materials showcased in the dishes, all accompanied by wines recommended by the sommelier and a sunset over the Sienese hills: an experience for all the senses!

27/05/2026: We went in to buy a piece of schiacciata and asked for information about restaurants and places to visit. The woman was very kind and provided us with valuable information. The deli is well stocked.

18/08/2026: This family-run winery welcomes and guides you with all the enthusiasm and passion for winemaking. The wines are excellent, especially the single-variety Vernaccia, and the tastings are accompanied by a superb platter.

15/06/2026: I had lunch with my family and had a wonderful time. The restaurant is located in a truly enchanting and relaxing setting, nestled in the Tuscan hills and far from the crowds. I ate very well, enjoying a menu featuring quality products. The owner and staff were extremely friendly. The service was clean and efficient. Recommended.

22/07/2026: Overall, a good experience, friendly atmosphere and welcoming host. However, 2 out of 3 bottles we bought and immediately tried in 3 consecutive days were absolutely ruined. Those were vintages of 2000s, and most likely they were stored incorrectly, in warm rooms. Please be aware!

02/06/2026: Wine tasting was amazing lead by Irland that was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Even made recommendations within our budget and didn’t try to upsell us on anything we couldn’t afford. Definitely recommend doing a tasting here if you are visiting Motalcino
