Il titolare e lo staff meritano i più sentiti complimenti. Locale non molto grande ma super accogliente e ben curato, ci siamo sentiti coccolati . Consiglio al 100% Provare per credere

16/11/2024: Locale ben curato, gestito da una coppia molto gentile e attenta al cliente. Cibo genuino e preparazione espressa garantiscono qualità e gusto alle portate, semplici ma davvero buone. Il locale è piccolo ? Si, ma come dice il proverbio, "nelle botti piccole ci sta il vino buono". Provare per credere. Bella scoperta.

14/01/2025: Stopping in Buonconvento during our visit to these beautiful places, we found this place for a lunch break and we were thrilled. Very polite and kind staff, nice and clean place; the choice of courses is not very wide but in my opinion a very good decision and the (high) quality certainly benefits from it. Excellent dishes at the right price. Recommended place!

04/04/2025: The big problem that I have revealed in many rooms were the hinges of the bathroom doors. In others the doors were difficult to close not to mention the dirt that was in the toilet, the shower leaks water and you risk slipping and breaking something. Having said that, next year we wanted to return for the simplicity and the location of the hotel to tour the villages but it seems to me that I will have to look for another hotel. The staff asked us in which municipality we live and did not even ask us for an ID. Highly not recommended

30/03/2025: The hotel is located a stone's throw from the square of Colle Val d'Elsa. The room was small, but equipped with the necessary. The bathroom is a bit small and decidedly old; the bed is comfortable. A big flaw concerns the soundproofing, absolutely non-existent. You can hear every little noise coming from the other rooms and the corridor. The doors should also be reviewed, because at night the light from the corridor entered from below and from the sides. The breakfast, on the other hand, is good and plentiful, croissants, cold cuts, bread, cereals, yogurt and fruit. Hot drinks are served directly by the staff. The lady at the reception was very kind and friendly, she recommended some restaurants in town and parking in Siena.

26/03/2025: I can't wait to return to Siena just to return to this precious Bottega (an adjective not chosen by chance because it is a jewel). The environment is characteristic and while waiting you can get lost observing, in addition to the counter with all its raw materials and preparations excellent even to the sight, everything that over the years has contributed to embellishing the place: thoughts, quotes, reviews, objects... As for the food, we opted for three sandwiches to share: caramelized cherry tomatoes with truffle, aged pecorino and Cinta Senese ham; pork "elixir" (a heavenly cream of lard), fresh pecorino and wild garlic pesto; and porchetta with honey mustard. I couldn't choose my favorite because they were all exquisite! To accompany them, two glasses of local red wine recommended by Angelo, also these were incredible. Entering "Gino Cacino" is not only a culinary experience, but a humanly enriching one: from the coming and going of visitors and their stories (impossible not to exchange a few words during the meal), to the mastery and care that Angelo reserves for the service. Every minute spent here is worth living. Thank you Angelo!

04/04/2025: We were so fortunate to discover Montemorli and meet Vittorio and his family. I messaged them on WhatsApp to ask about a tour and Vittorio offered to give us a personal tour the next day. He walked us around the vineyard and talked about the varietals and their harvesting timeline etc. We then went to the cellars and learned about the aging and wine making processes. It was very interesting to hear the history of the vineyard and the Conforti family. Vittorio was also very patient and answered all of our questions. We then walked over to their outdoor kitchen and had a tasting with snacks and we loved all of the wines but could only buy a few to carry with us on the rest of our trip. We were there for several hours and never felt rushed or like we overstayed our welcome. The best part about all of this is that it was just the two of us and Vittorio, so we felt like we were visiting with a friend. This is a "tour" but it feels more like you are visiting family and it is much different than visiting one of the large, commercial wineries. I'd take this option any day over one of those and can't wait to visit again the next time we are in Italy!

27/03/2025: One of the best wine tasting experiences we have had, Vittorio is a warm and very familiar person, we really liked the coexistence with the group, the explanation and the tour as well as the wines we tasted.

02/10/2024: Wonderful place to stay. Our 2nd year here, and we have booked for next year also. Amazing views, wonderful pool area. The service provided by Max, Neila and Luciano is fantastic. Very central, so easy to drive to other places, Volterra, Sienna, San Gimingnano, etc. Casole is a short walk away for bars and other places to eat. Il Colombaio, the restaurant pizzeria is about 5m away from the front of Tenuta Colombaio. Different businesses, but very very handy, good food. Make sure you book or you may not get a table. Can't wait to get back!

24/09/2024: We will definitely return to such a vibrant place in all its aspects. The room IL COLOMBAIO on two levels (living room, bedroom and bathroom in the attic), truly immense and functional. The abundant breakfast served by a valid and kind collaborator. The gardens and the swimming pool cared for in detail. 10/03/2025: One of the best steaks on our trip! We had great food, the waiter was a kick and the ambiance was perfect for what we were looking for. We still talk about our experience of great food 8 months later. It will be our first stop in our return to Siena! Thank you for the service and delicious meal. Do not miss this place!

15/01/2025: I enter this bar after a medical visit to have a coffee with my partner also attracted by the window. The bar is empty but the bartender is extremely busy in conversation. We wait until attention is given to us and we order even though I notice that the atmosphere isn't the best. Lukewarm coffee is consistent with the environment. Too bad: I can't judge the desserts, but the environment and courtesy lack warmth.
