We spontaneously dropped in on Easter Monday and even though we didn’t have a reservation, the host and team were so accomodating and so we sat at the family table near the entrance. All the food we had was delicious! And service was also great. Highly recommend and hoping that we can return in the future!

Our host told us: "the best in Siena", so we checked it out. Food and ambience is phantastic. Very nice staff. The best is the extensive and exquisite wine list. They also have an "old wine list" with aged specialities upon request with some bargains. Strongly recommend!

The restaurant we found temporarily in the evening did not have any reservations. The service staff received us warmly and ordered two dishes at will. The taste was good, but it was not proportional to the price. Another restaurant only costs 10 to 20 euros of pork chops, but it was sold for 29 euros here, and the pasta also cost more than 20 euros. The most important thing is that is not cooked, which is unacceptable.

We arrived late, but despite this, they welcomed us with courtesy and attention. The cuisine is an experience to behold. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Just steps from Piazza del Campo. Wonderful. Excellent value for money.

A delightful experience all around. Food excellent, wine sublime, ambience charming, service attentive. Probably the best wine list in Siena. Just order a nice bottle of Brunello, sit back and enjoy. (A great choice if you are looking for reasonable sized servings)

20/03/2026: A lovely hotel in San Gimignano, with the owner's courtesy and helpfulness. The only downside was that we had to pay for two coffees in the morning, even though breakfast was included. Sometimes you need a good nose.
03/01/2026: A good location for visiting San Gimignano, about a 10-minute walk to the historic center. You can drive right up to the entrance, and even if there's no parking, you have plenty of time to get settled in. Simple rooms, a good breakfast in a lovely room, friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely picturesque view of San Gimignano and its towers, even more beautiful at night, from just outside the entrance, but perhaps from some rooms as well. I removed one star because the information says "wheelchair accessible," which isn't entirely true.
