08/06/2025: Una piccola Chiesa alla periferia di Radda in Chianti con annesso un piccolo convento trasformato in enoteca e bistrot dalla cucina tradizionale fatta con prodotti del territorio e destinata ad accompagnare i vini della zona; questo e’ Casa Chianti classico giudata dal simpaticissimo Andrea pronto a guidarti tra i piatti del menu’ e soprattutto la ampia collezione dei vini. Buoni i tortelli ripieni di baccalà e monto buona la tagliata, tenera e succosa, non male neanche il gelato artigianale e soprattutto il sorbetto al Limone e pepe rosa accompagnato da un gin fatto da un inglese (che mangiava al tavolo vicino al mio) stabilitosi in Maremma il primo che abbia bevuto che aveva odori e profumi della campagna toscana. Prezzi giusti; ho comprato anche due bottiglie di vino rosato prodotto nella zona, dal sapore fresco e pulito, niente di particolare ma molto oiacevole da bere fresco per accompagnare il pasto. Bella anche la terrazza sulla quale fare un aperitivo proma del Pasto.

02/04/2025: Wonderful initiative of the Chianti Classico sensory path that I highly recommend! The ideal would be to start with them before visiting some winery. A special mention to Giuseppe, competent and professional who guided us perfectly at the end of the path.

13/06/2025: Writing a review of this 3-star "Hotel" is not easy. Yes, because, reading other reviews, apart from one, the others speak of a structure that absolutely did not reflect what we experienced. Arriving late in the evening, we were told that there was no garage, when at the time of booking, on the phone I had been confirmed the possibility of putting the motorcycle in the garage. GOOD, BUT LET'S GO IN ORDER. THE ROOMS: I WOULD FIRST NOTE THAT WE STAYED FOR TWO NIGHTS AND THE ROOM WAS NEITHER REDONE NOR CLEANED, AS THE RULES OF A 3-STAR HOTEL REQUIRE! WE TAKE THE ROOM CALLED "SUPERIOR" BECAUSE, ACCORDING TO THE MANAGEMENT, IT HAS THE LARGEST BATHROOM. ONCE WE HAVE TAKEN POSSESSION OF THE ROOM, WE REALIZE, WANT TO TAKE A SHOWER, AFTER HOURS AND HOURS OF MOTORCYCLE, THAT THE 3 STAR HOTEL DOES NOT OFFER A SIMPLE HAIR DRYER, WHICH I HAVE TO ASK FOR, THE SAME FATE FOR SHAMPOO OR SHOWER GEL, ONLY TWO, PROVIDED FOR TWO DAYS OF STAY, PRACTICALLY IF THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T ASK FOR IT, THEY SIMPLY DON'T BOTHER TO GIVE IT.. THE "SUPERIOR" ROOM HAS MOSQUITO NETS, BUT THEY OBVIOUSLY CANNOT ELIMINATE THE DANGER OF MOSQUITOES, SINCE I HAVE TO ELIMINATE REAL HELICOPTERS (I TOOK PHOTOS) WHICH FORTUNELY DO NOT STING BUT WHICH TO SEE, AND ABOVE ALL HEARING YOURSELF AT NIGHT IS NOT PLEASANT. THE SHOWER, VERY SMALL, BUT THE UNACCEPTABLE THING IS TO SEE PIGEON DROPPINGS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BATHROOM WINDOW! NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE HAVE KEPT THE BATHROOM WINDOW CLOSED AT ALL TIMES. FORGET ABOUT A MINI FRIDGE, FORGET ABOUT A CLOSET, BUT ONLY A COAT RACK ALONG THE WALL. THE BED: IF YOU LIKE THE 80'S METAL MESH BASE, THEN IT'S PERFECT, INCLUDING METALLIC NOISES AFTERWARDS. THE MATTRESS, INSUFFICIENT. BREAKFAST. IN MANY YEARS OF HONORABLE BIKERS ACTIVITY, I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A BARRELLING AND ABOVE ALL UNACCEPTABLE BREAKFAST. SHOULD I DESCRIBE IT? IT IS ENOUGH TO SAY THAT ON THE SECOND MORNING A CUSTOMER WENT TO GET CROISSANTS AT THE BAR DEL BORGO. THE MUCH-VALUED CUISINE? NOT AVAILABLE! ON THE SECOND EVENING, WE TOLD ONE OF THE GIRLS THAT WE WOULD HAVE LIKED TO DO THE HALF-BOARD MENU, BECAUSE, AS IT WAS A PIZZA ROUND EVENING AT THEIR PLACE AND WE PREFERRED TO EAT TYPICAL CUISINE, WE DID NOT FEEL LIKE EATING PIZZA. WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WAS EASILY POSSIBLE AND THEY OFFERED US SOME TORTELLINI, RABBIT....EHM....YES...TOO BAD THAT WE RETURNED AFTER LESS THAN AN HOUR, AND AFTER ASKING ANOTHER GIRL FROM THE STAFF, WE WERE LITERALLY TOLD THAT WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO EAT, NEITHER TORTELLINI, NOR RABBIT, NOR PIZZA! BECAUSE THE PLACE WAS BY NOW FULL. WHILE THE GIRL WAS EVEN RAISING DOUBT THAT WE HAD MADE PREVIOUS AGREEMENTS ON THE MENU, CLAIMING THAT WE HAD NOT TALKED TO HER AND THAT SHE WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR CONFIRMATION, IN THE MEANTIME SHE CONTINUED TO NOT CARE ABOUT US WHO WERE WAITING, AND CONTINUED TO PREPARE FOR THE PIZZA ROUND. WE PRACTICALLY WAITED FOR HALF AN HOUR FOR HER TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, AS SHE HAD SAID, FORTUNATELY THEY MANAGED TO BOOK AT A RESTAURANT NEARBY AND WE WERE ABLE TO EAT THERE, OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE ALSO REMAINED HUNGRY. THE NEXT DAY, WE ONLY DRINK AN ORANGE DRINK, PACKED OUR BAGS AND LEFT AWAY VERY HAPPY, TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A REAL BREAKFAST. THE ONLY THING WE LIKED? THE ATMOSPHERE, OF THE WHOLE VILLAGE. THE 3 STAR HOTEL "LA PIETRA" HAS A LONG WAY TO GO TO DEFINE ITSELF AS A 3 STAR. PS: DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR THE WIFI PASSWORD, OTHERWISE IF YOU HOPE TO FIND THE INFORMATION IN THE ROOM LIKE ANY SELF-RESPECTING HOTEL, THEN YOU WILL HAVE A BAD SURPRISE. THERE IS NO TV, THE ONLY THING THAT IS WRITTEN ON THE SITE. THIS WAS OUR EXPERIENCE. TESTIFIED BY PHOTOS. THE PRICE IS ABSOLUTELY UNJUSTIFIED FOR WHAT THEY OFFER.

Locale ADATTO AI CELIACI. Ambiente informale ma curato. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato.

21/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale per una cena. Ottima scelta. Ambiente accogliente, possibilità di mangiare fuori o dentro. Personale gentile e simpatico. Ottimi antipasti di salumi e pecorini. Ottimi pici cacio e pepe e guanciale croccante. Nessun problema a soddisfare la richiesta del bambino e fare pici al pomodoro.

12/07/2025: We rented the tower room, would highly recommend. It is a tower built in 800 that has been converted into a suite. It added to the experience of staying in Tuscany and allowed for amazing views from the roof top veranda. This is also located outside of town, but close enough to Sienna and other surrounding towns to give a nice balance between being close but not always in the middle of the city. Food in the restaurant was also great and the staff is very accommodating.

11/07/2025: I feel disheartened to have to give a lower review, firstly, the staff are really wonderful from check-in and reception, the lovely Marel always eager to help and make my stay welcoming and enjoyable. Sydney, Emily and Virginia ran the historical, animal and olive oil tours which were super fun! I met the owner herself, thank you Mania for transforming a family home to a wonderful space. What makes me upset is the treatment I received at the ristorante. They treated me like a second class citizen just bc I was a solo traveler. God forbid im on a self-healing journey and dont drink wine, looking for some respite on the country side - they always seated me in the back corner and wouldnt let me just choose where I wanted to sit. One evening for dinner, which I made reservations for, they sat me inside, even though there were empty available tables outside. The waitor rolled his eyes at me and with a very exasperated expression acquiesced to give me a table outside after I insisted to sit outside bc its too hot inside. Way to make someone feel like such an inconvenience, unworthy and unloved. You’d think you work hard and want to treat yourself to a vacation but people can still be mean. I actually didnt even eat lunch or dinner on my last day here to avoid the same boring and rude treatment. Why would you pay over $1000 to stay here and receive this type of treatment. I dont think it’s excusable to say you had changes in staffing/issues, allowing me to sit at any empty table is pretty basic first come first serve hospitality. Also, its the same menu for lunch and dinner. (UPDATED*) This agriturismo has a lot of potential but there is much room for improvement like. My room was above the kitchen and there was clanking of dishware well after midnight, no wifi in room but no mesh on all windows in common area they open for breeze, I was attacked by mosquitos and so uncomfortable all over my face as they got into my room from the living room. They do some events - I was lucky to attend a cool oyster and wine event when I was there. I wish they had some activity every evening - whether is movie projection on the torre, live music or band, pizza night, dancing under the stars, they had globe lights strung but never turned on. They didnt offer cooking class while I was there an no subsitute or suggestion to go to Siena town to do something. They provided me with a yoga mat and the pool is very nice.

17/07/2025: The enclosed veranda of the Mastrojanni Relais restaurant offers a magnificent view, but the interior is truly captivating, renovated and furnished with great skill and taste. The dishes are truly exquisite; the Campanian chef, Alessandro del Mastro, expertly uses carefully selected local products (the cheese selection is nothing short of astonishing). The wait staff is attentive and friendly. A delightful lunch in a welcoming setting immersed in the natural beauty of the vineyards surrounding Montalcino.

19/06/2025: We’ve been guests at the wine resort and we’ve been loving every minute. The restaurant has access to a huge vegetable garden, and has lots of seasonal choices. The staff has been lovely. We will be back in a heartbeat!

27/06/2025: We have visited the restaurant twice on our vacation. They serve great food with a good menu extended with great daily specials. The atmosphere is great thx to the maitre d and the staff. The gelateria across the restaurant makes the experience complete. Thx good friends.

10/06/2025: From the moment we wandered into this adorable town, dropped off by accident, it seemed it must have been fate. We sat down at a table, luggage and all and immediately were offered a space to stow our bags so we could relax and figure out where we were supposed to be. We ordered some food, bruscetta to start and it was one of the best we had in our whole vacation. I had a Ceasar salad, and my boyfriend had the tagliatelle with beef ragu and cheesecake for desert. Our food was all excellent. I asked it it was okay if I got a gelato from the shop across the street to bring to the table. Turns out, that shop is there's as well, so no problem. I had Gelato in probably 6 towns, and this was by far the creamiest and best. Back to the service, as soon as they say we were somewhat lost, with no car, on our way to a farmhouse nearby, they offered us assistance in getting us there and any other help we might need during our stay. They were so kind, we are forever grateful to Aleandro and Pasquale. Truly the epitome of good humans.

06/07/2025: We cannot deny ourselves, Excellent Caipiroska by the Great Fabio and Super Hospitality by Pietro; well done the long in the Hall, to review the service availability of the Ragazzina in my humble opinion a bit serious not to have accompanied salty snacks with the cocktails and to have had to go personally to ask for them. Perhaps he still has not learned that a customer who enjoys salty food definitely needs more drinks and then a smile instead of a long face; it certainly makes the drink Better. With the exclusive purpose of not criticizing but being collaboratively constructive; as in the sector.

27/04/2025: Stavamo tornando a casa da una vacanza in Toscana, siamo passati per caso davanti a questa osteria e ci siamo fermati verso le 14.00. Locale semplice e un pò datato, ma gestito da un simpatico Pugliese trapiantato in loco da oltre 20 anni. Ci ha servito abbondanti affettati, formaggi e altre leccornie del luogo, con cortesia e simpatia e con un prezzo modestissimo. Super consigliato. Gli Anconetani!!

08/07/2025: Fast service, excellent first courses and super super friendly staff! We chose two first courses with truffles, one of which was recommended by the chef: Ravioli with truffle and saffron. We certainly didn't regret it!!! 😍 I strongly recommend trying it.

21/07/2025: Bel locale in centro a San Quirico. Pranzato in giardino sotto all'ombra di un Glicine secolare. Preso un Crostone al lardo e pecorino e due primi, Ravioli al sugo di nana e gnocchi al ragù bianco e zucchine, entrambi abbondanti e molto buoni. Servizio veloce, personale gentile e simpatico. Rapporto qualità e prezzo molto buono. Da ritornarci quando saremo in zona.
