17/05/2026: We had a great time! The service and food were excellent. The meat was cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be back.

17/05/2026: Very friendly staff. They offered my pregnant wife a pillow for under her chair to sit comfortable and did make our diner comfortable. The pasta, wine and coffee were very good.

04/05/2026: They didn't give us a room at the hotel. They took us to a house across the street. The room was very basic, and the bathroom was old and outdated. The shower was tiny and difficult to use, and the toilet cistern was broken; we had to hit it to get it to work. It was very expensive for the awful room they gave us. I don't recommend it. 20/03/2026: A lovely hotel in San Gimignano, with the owner's courtesy and helpfulness. The only downside was that we had to pay for two coffees in the morning, even though breakfast was included. Sometimes you need a good nose.

10/08/2025: Menu che non cambia mai. Solo e sempre pici, il dolce in misera porzione viene servito in una ciotolina di solito usata per gli assaggi delle confetture ,ma quello che mi ha innervosito e' stato quando al momento del conto, pur di non farmi uno sconto di 1.70 € mi hanno dato il resto a 90€ in monetineanche di 5 centesimi Il totale era 71.70 e io ho pagato con 90€. Il menù non corrisponde a quanto viene realmente offerto, alle ore 20,00 hanno già finito tutto o lo chef ha deciso di non preparare più quanto scritto nel menù!

30/07/2025: Probamos este lugar para el almuerzo y disfrutamos IT. Tuvimos maravillosas recomendaciones sobre qué probar y disfrutar de todos ellos! Comparte platos para empezar, luego pasta tradicional y estofado de jabalí para la red. Terminamos con Helado para los niños y tiramisú - postre estilo adulto. Toda la experiencia fue encantadora, muy relajada y amable. Gracias por recibirnos! Tuvimos un paseo lento y completo de vuelta a nuestro lugar de estancia 🤭🫣 Mis fotos eran inútiles, pero el sabor de estos platos sencillos eran fabulosos!

14/04/2026: Excellent Italian restaurant, lovely decor and very pleasant service. The pasta is homemade and everything is delicious, all at a reasonable price for this touristy area. I highly recommend it.

13/05/2026: Wow, a perfect place on the mountain with a beautiful and fun view The owner of the place, Francesca, is stunning, has great manners and is a great pleasure to stay with her The food is delicious, prices are really reasonable Really nice here And it's really worth drinking coffee, cheeses and salads, you can also go beyond that. A really fun and pleasant memory!❤️

12/05/2026: We were concerned about stopping at the first restaurant entering Monticchielo. It appears small, but has very nice inside seating and beautiful outdoor view. What a great experience, from insight to wine selection to the food experience, we couldn't have had a better time. Thanks so much for what you do!

09/04/2026: The best restaurant in the small town, the pizzas were very delicious, nice service, good atmosphere. If you are in this city, you should definitely try it. We loved it. ❤️ At the end of the dinner we also received grappa as a gift, they were very kind and hospitable.

29/03/2026: Like a family dinner. Warm place, friendly and kind owner. Without a reservation, he managed to find us a small spot even though the place was packed. Fast service. Very good food. Highly recommended :)

01/06/2026: Great environment, beautiful decor, and the most important, the food was DELICIOUS! Their pasta with tomato sauce was the best I’ve ever had - simple but the sauce with the pasta was a great combination! Highly recommended!!

26/05/2026: Restaurant sits in a cute alley way. We stopped by for lunch, had the pici caccio e peppe and pici al tartufo, it was very tasty. Had also the black truffle tartare, also tasty. I would come back.

03/05/2026: My husband and I were fortunate to arrange a last minute wine tasting which turned out to be a highlight during our trip to Italy. Aldo and staff took such great care of us and the wine and food were exquisite. I cannot wait to receive the wine that we ordered, it was phenomenal.

02/05/2026: We came for the day to do a tasting and did not stay the night. Aldo, our host and one of the owners of this family run winery, was incredibly warm and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tour of the modern and clean wine cellar was enlightening. But the true highlight was the wine, which they clearly put a lot of heart and soul into. By the winemaker’s choice, their reds are aged in French oak for more years that what is required and this imparts some delightful and complex notes to the already amazing Sangiovese grapes. Their Rosso and Brunello are unmatched, in our experience. I feel they are small and growing and now is the time to discover them, before they blow up. We had a glass of their brunello in Rome and had to find them at their vineyard in Tuscany. We’ve been to later, more popular (and more expensive) wineries and these guys still are our favorite. The food that accompanied the wine was exquisite and made from wholly local good, many harvested right on property. I cannot speak to the rooms, but when we return to Tuscany, we plan to find out and have the full experience. I cannot say enough good about Cordella.

14/02/2026: I'll just say we waited two hours for our food, which was unacceptable. The tartare was good, the pear and cheese parcels were 6-, the sliced ​​steak was terrible. The waiter was also very embarrassed, so much so that he offered us grappa. I wouldn't go back.

25/10/2025: A lovely welcome, excellent wine recommendations, and a perfect meal! The pasta al ragu, the raviolini... everything was delicious 😋 and the desserts were the best we've eaten since arriving in Italy! We recommend it 100%.

20/09/2025: I don't understand people who wrote that they ate the best food in Italy here😂, i've been on a long trip around Italy and I can surely say this was the worst food we ate during our trip.

10/06/2026: Terrible Maremma tortellini, tasteless, the panzanella was vinegared and didn't follow Italian tradition, the pici with tomato sauce weren't cooked properly, the coffee wasn't macchiato but watered down with milk. We won't be returning. And all of this was €42 down the drain.

30/04/2026: OMG! Luckily ate here our first night in Siena. I will eat here as often as I can during this stay. Family owned, traditional, menu changes with what’s available locally. Slow pace, friendly but busy. Only has 14 tables all other customers seemed to be locals.

18/05/2026: A charming location with a beautiful view overlooking the Chianti hills. Sami made us feel right at home—kind, friendly, and professional, a rare gem in this industry. Dishes are meticulously crafted, from the visual to the flavorful.
