23/06/2025: I was only in Poggibonsi for 3 days, but from the first night I understood that Arturo's pub was a safe haven to end the evening.
Quiet people, friendly and fast bartenders, lively and colorful atmosphere. If I have the chance I will definitely go back

I don't know what the wine is like because I don't drink alcohol if I have to drive like so many others do in Italy who then crash into guardrails and kill innocent people... 🤷 If you have to drive to Milan and already start drinking wine here, I don't know how far you'll go... ..hoping you don't kill innocent people.. 🤷
20/12/2025: The portions were really small, both for the entrees and the side dishes. Unfortunately, we didn't take photos, but the portions weren't like the ones pictured here.
A meager portion of fries for €4.50 is definitely too much.
The place is very nice, and the service is quick.

31/10/2025: We had a really nice dessert here, ricciarelli, croissant and just as good coffee. Cool place indeed with good food, music and people. We may still contact for the souvenirs we left there - that would be awesome ;D
28/10/2025: We sat at a table and enjoyed croissants, paninis, and macchiatos, while many locals stood at the counter, drank quickly, and left. This seems to be part of Italian coffee culture. Another reason might be that coffee costs more when you sit at a table, so locals prefer to drink standing up. The coffee was strong and delicious, and the panini was excellent.

21/02/2026: Discovered by pure chance but it's really worth it! Extraordinary pici with white sauce! Excellent service and friendly owners! When I return to Siena, we will definitely go back.

20/03/2026: A lovely hotel in San Gimignano, with the owner's courtesy and helpfulness. The only downside was that we had to pay for two coffees in the morning, even though breakfast was included. Sometimes you need a good nose.
03/01/2026: A good location for visiting San Gimignano, about a 10-minute walk to the historic center. You can drive right up to the entrance, and even if there's no parking, you have plenty of time to get settled in. Simple rooms, a good breakfast in a lovely room, friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely picturesque view of San Gimignano and its towers, even more beautiful at night, from just outside the entrance, but perhaps from some rooms as well. I removed one star because the information says "wheelchair accessible," which isn't entirely true.

05/03/2026: Tuscan food and hospitality, at its absolute best. Enzo and Sonia made us feel so welcome and took the time to describe the traditional dishes on the menu. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was sublime. If you are heading to Siena, I highly recommend you grab something to eat at Ristorante da Enzo. You won’t be disappointed 😊🇮🇹

My boyfriend and I arrived, they sat us down, and after about half an hour, they came to take our order. The result? At 10:00 PM, we got up and left without having eaten the pizza we ordered. It's true that we waited too long to get up, but I asked a waitress if they were going to wait much longer and got no answer! So many people had been waiting over an hour to be seated. A disgrace! We saw pizzas delivered to those who had sat down after us (despite still waiting a long time). Despite this, they had the nerve to charge us for a bottle of water and a medium beer. 😂 Shame on you.

13/09/2025: Only 2 stars because we based our choice of a place for a week's stay on these reviews and were very, very disappointed with the breakfast.
300 euros per night and the same every day, plus an additional 6 euros for an omelet or soft-boiled egg.
The lunch selection was also very average. We only ate once. Dinner was also decent, but that was about it. It's better to go to the nearby towns.
10/08/2025: A perfect dinner. The view is spectacular, the food delicious, and the service attentive, friendly but not intrusive. Everything was excellent; I highly recommend it if you're in the area. My favorite dishes were the
pappardelle with venison and porcini mushrooms and the peach and thyme tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream.

12/07/2025: Che dire ….. locale carino in un borgo del Chianti, cucina a mio avviso nella media , preso un crostino nero toscano….da toscano dico …no , tonno di coniglio dove ho trovato pezzettini di ossa … e due filetti dove si era chiesto connatura al sangue…..e non lo era….in compenso la carne buona ma a mio giudizio nella norma. Servizio , ok i ragazzi di Sala molto gentili, la ragazza che ha preso l’ordine un po’ “ scocciata “ non proprio in linea con il resto del personale.
Mi aspettavo qualcosa in più, prezzi adeguati a ciò che viene offerto.
…non credo tornerò…..
27/06/2025: Ci hanno accompagnati degli amici senesi. Siamo stati benissimo! Bellissimo ambiente, super professionali, piatti buonissimi, una delle bistecche più buone che ho mai mangiato! Ottima cantina! Complimenti!!!!
