18/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise, this restaurant was a lucky find. The welcome was warm, and the staff were friendly and smiling. The diavola pizza and the ciaccini primavera were excellent, as were the spaghetti with cuttlefish and grilled squid. The desserts (green apple sorbet, lemon sorbet, and tiramisu) were also very good. The pizzas are very reasonably priced (under €10). A place worth trying!

03/07/2026: The pizza was really good, even the pici with white ragù was pretty good. The place is nice for being just a stone's throw from the road, and the outdoor terrace has a pleasant view. We were tired and stressed from a long journey, and it was a real relief.

06/08/2026: At first, I was a little worried because my two children were having a hard time finding something they liked. Then we ordered a Tuscan platter that everyone loved, followed by pici with ragù, wild boar ravioli, and the ossobuco della torre. I loved everything because I finished all the leftovers and everyone's sauces. For me, the ossobuco is the best. The service was impeccable, very professional at first, and then, once the ice was broken, we even had a laugh with the waiter. If I return to Siena, I'll definitely stop by. Kudos to the staff and the chef.

04/08/2026: I was curious to try this restaurant, especially after reading the positive reviews and comments. Honestly, I can say it's a true hidden gem in Siena: the food is exceptional (I had the opportunity to try their steak and pasta, both truly incredible, and the ossobuco was also delicious), the wine that accompanies the dishes is delicious and fresh, and the staff and owners are truly kind and welcoming. You absolutely must try it to experience the pleasure of eating literally five steps from Piazza del Campo, in one of the quietest and most relaxing streets, away from the crowds.

26/07/2026: We reserved a table for six on the terrace, and the sunset views were absolutely spectacular. The staff were incredibly welcoming, spoke excellent English, and recommended a superb wine from a local vineyard that we could actually see from the restaurant. Instead of ordering individually, we chose six different pizzas to be served sliced, one at a time, so everyone could share and sample each one. It was by far the best decision, allowing us to enjoy a wonderful variety of flavours. Every pizza was topped with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and was simply outstanding—the best pizza any of us had ever eaten. To finish, we shared the tiramisu, which was wonderfully light and delicious. From the breathtaking views to the exceptional food and warm hospitality, we had a truly memorable evening at this hidden gem.

19/08/2026: After visiting "Castagnone di Molli," a little further on, we stopped for lunch at this osteria, and found everything to be truly excellent. We ordered two beef sirloin steaks with fresh fried vegetables and the house red wine, and the food was truly delicious. The menu is simple and tasty. The view of the valley (we're almost 500 meters above sea level) is beautiful. Convenient parking is available just below the restaurant.

14/08/2026: I'm clearly disappointed by this restaurant. The location offers a beautiful view, but the food lacks finesse; it's rather rustic cuisine. The service is adequate. I won't be going back.

23/08/2026: Beautiful restaurant with great, friendly service. They accommodated our vegan requests and served incredibly delicious food – three courses in a stunning setting. Mille Grazie! We'll be back.

14/08/2026: For the third consecutive year, we've been dining here, with an overnight stay in the adjacent Badia. The Cinta Senese cured meats were excellent, among the best we've tasted in the area. The first courses were delicious and plentiful. For those seeking a Chianti Classico with a difference, try the Riserva "Cultus." Surrounded by nature, the terrace offers a beautiful view of the valley below.

12/05/2026: A pleasant surprise in the back streets of San Gimignano. It offers traditional dishes, very well prepared. The place is small, so it's best to book in advance, but it's definitely worth a try. The owner is very kind, and the service is attentive and prompt. The ingredients used are excellent, and the value is excellent. If you stop here for a snack, I recommend trying the lampredotto sandwich; it's truly delicious. Highly recommended.

03/06/2026: The location looks like something out of a painting. It's located inside a very refined and characteristic relais. The restaurant overlooks the vineyards and features a huge cuercia (a wooden barn) in the center of the room. It's literally a treehouse restaurant. The highlight, besides the view, is the staff, who are highly trained and, above all, friendly. A truly pampering experience.

22/01/2026: We loved our stay at Borgo Santo Pietro and one of our favorite parts was the food at Trattoria sull'Albero. It was truly top notch! The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy with several wood burning fireplaces and an outstanding view of the countryside. There were great indoor and outdoor bars, fire pits, patio seating, truly everything you could want. Onto the food, which was SO SO good. Hands down the best pizza we had the entire time that we were in Italy. Nothing that we had wasn't delicious. The wild boar pasta and the fermented purple rice salad were also both stand outs. You can really tell that the ingredients are coming straight from farm to table. We came home in October but I am still dreaming about this food months later.

19/08/2026: absolutely beautiful place and the wine tasting experience was lovely. The host was amazing. We didn't feel pressured into buying the wine however we were told all fees were covered with our purchase, only to be told by UPS we must pay £55 to have the wine delivered. this has spoiled ours and many others experience

18/08/2026: A warm and pleasant welcome during a visit

07/08/2026: The restaurant is tucked away in a small alley. Sitting outside is nice, but the interior is truly lovely. We ordered a Florentine steak, which was incredibly good. I've rarely eaten such a good steak with such high-quality meat in my life. The shanks were okay, but nothing special; we personally didn't care for the spinach. What's a shame, though, is how the steak is presented. It arrives rather uninspired on a plate; a little more creativity would be nice. All in all, however, it was a wonderful evening with an incredibly good steak. The desserts are also well worth trying, especially the chocolate cake, which was excellent.
