01/06/2026: We chose this place for the panoramic view, but the rest is worth a look, and I'm referring to what we ate: a good salmon, but a small portion for the price, and three cuts of meat with potatoes that were practically served cold. Service was adequate, with a few oversights. And, to be honest, a glass of wine that was well-priced but very limited in quantity.

01/06/2026: While we were waiting for dad to race the Eroica, I had lunch here with my two young children. Excellent food and very friendly service. I even managed to enjoy a beer! Thanks!

02/05/2026: A great place for a quick lunch during a motorcycle trip to Siena. Excellent food, delicious schiacciata, mortadella, burrata, and pistachios. The Sacher torte is superb.

28/04/2026: A few weeks ago we went to dinner here, and we had fond memories of it, but the other night they charged us 6 euros for a side of potatoes with an EMBARRASSING/SHAMEFUL portion. It was probably 30g of potatoes (at most, one large potato cut into small slices). We won't be going back.

12/04/2026: I remembered a typical, intimate trattoria serving excellent Tuscan cuisine. Thinking I'd make a good impression, I took my wife here for dinner, but the quality was lacking. Two mediocre crostini appetizers, two slices of beef that were supposed to be Chianina beef, but the Chianina had probably escaped! A side of MacDonald's potatoes, two beers, €79.00. A word of advice: move on...

23/05/2026: We just ate our best meal in Italy at this restaurant, all thanks to this special place, and the amazing folks that make it happen. I believe it’s Karin and Antonio that run it, and after dinner I literally was compelled to hug them both. It was a set menu, lovely and so creative and beautiful, and importantly all vegan. This meal rivalled anything we had during our entire 3 week trip. All of the reviews here seem to be glowing so I’ll leave these 5 stars to pile on to the rave reviews. More than all of this, if you get lucky and meet Karin and Antonio, which is most likely during your visit, you will find the most delightful and genuine people, with smiles that fill you up just like the food will. Bravo!! I am so lucky we found you, and so grateful for dining here.

24/10/2025: All-you-can-eat dinner. We ordered several items. I'd say everything was enjoyable. The service was quick, and the wait was really short. Book in advance, otherwise they have a small room with smaller tables, and you'll have to sit there. We'll be back.

24/03/2026: This organization arranged a mill tor, cooking class and dinner for our family it was truly an amazing experience. Emma was our host and she couldn’t have been more informative and helpful. It was interesting to learn about the community and theatre and how it ties altogether. Chef Rafal was our pasta making teacher, his skills were amazing to watch and was very patient with us, so much fun. Dinner after at Restaurant Bonzino was a truly homemade Tuscan dinner with locally sourced ingredients, it was so good! A wonderful experience with wonderful people.😎

12/06/2026: Hands down, the best place to eat in Castellina Scalo, also because it's the only one. The pizza is truly delicious, and the prices are very fair, if not low, and the staff is almost as delightful as the pizza. Takeout is also available, but it's worth eating in at the restaurant, which is well-maintained.

14/03/2026: The restaurant is stylishly furnished, and the ambiance is equally charming. It's a little noisy, but really nothing special! The food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and excellent cooking. I mention the tempura because I think it's a must-try, but the sushi and sashimi are also remarkable, as is everything I've had there, including a spectacular tuna tartare. Friendly and friendly service, good wine list 🍷

23/05/2026: A warm welcome and impeccable service from the owner. And Daniela, the owner's wife, conjures up delicious regional specialties in the kitchen. I've never tasted such a wonderful homemade tiramisu. And all this at extremely fair and reasonable prices. This restaurant is truly recommendable.

11/04/2026: A truly lovely little place just steps from Piazza del Campo. Excellent value for money, well-executed traditional dishes, and friendly and attentive staff. We tried the charcuterie and cheese platter, followed by tagliatelle with ragù and ribollita. Everything was excellent 🙌🏼
