15/07/2025: We found a table for lunch on Sunday without a reservation. Prices are in line with the rest of Montalcino; we ordered rabbit and acquacotta with roast potatoes. The main courses were average, with the potatoes being decidedly poorly made. The service was a bit cold, but that's in keeping with the type of place.
09/07/2025: Fairly chic, but no mandatory dress code. Pleasant soft jazz music.

27/07/2025: Nice outdoor seating and staff, but the food was unfortunately not very good (overcooked pasta for example). We ordered green risotto and pappardelle. Too expensive prices in relation to taste and portion size.

14/07/2025: We came here because there were not many alternatives in the place located in the town of Settignano. The food was delicious but the prices were very high, more expensive than the restaurants in the center. We paid a total of 50 Euros for 2 spaghetti and 2 glasses of wine.
13/07/2025: A wonderful lunch at this charming wine bar in Settignano: delicious food from appetizer to dessert, made with top-quality ingredients, served by truly knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous staff on a quiet, shaded terrace overlooking the Florentine hills. Highly recommended!

04/06/2025: Was really looking forward to visiting this place. Drove for more than an hour, arrived around 15:00 today (Wednesday 4-6-2025). No one there, while they should be open from Wednesday to Sunday from 14:30. Waited for a while, someone arrived just after 15:30 and disappeared. Waited a little while longer, then went up to ask, but were sent away fairly short/rudely.
Such a shame.

11/07/2025: Unfortunately, my husband got food poisoning here. What's more, instead of medium/rare, my meat was way overcooked (read: shoe sole). When I mentioned it, the waitress got angry. They also have an Italian menu that's cheaper than the English menu. Not very hospitable, and they only cater to locals.

06/07/2025: During our stay at the hotel across the street, we ate here three evenings. No matter what, everything was delicious and authentic, from appetizers to dessert. Everything was exceptionally tasty and reasonably priced. The ambiance takes some getting used to at first, but as the roof of the terrace opens and the evening progresses, it becomes more pleasant and cozy by the minute.

01/06/2025: The best meatballs we have ever had!!! We also loved the Sugo Della casa. The staff was friendly and we had an incredible last meal in Siena. Make sure you make a reservation!!!
