La pasta con ricciola con pochissimo pesce e non risottata, Il fritto di pesce con verdure di scarsa qualità, il pescato del giorno era un minuscolo filettino di spigola con 3 sfoglie di patate e una noce di spinaci, i dessert passabili. Non ci ritornerei.

10/01/2024: Senza voler esagerare, questo è il miglior agriturismo in cui ho mai mangiato fino ad ora!!! Non so come riescano a prendere delle interiora e dei fagioli e fare un piatto con un sapore pazzesco...i pici al ragù di chianina e tartufo poi, indescrivibili!! cibo a parte: posto bellissimo, il cameriere gentilissimo e in generale un ambiente rustico molto piacevole. Se abitassi in zona andrei in questo agriturismo tutte le settimane!!
03/01/2024: Provate assolutamente la loro birra artigianale e terminate il pasto con il liquore al finocchietto!

29/07/2024: Very nice atmosphere and great location. Just as you can imagine a small village restaurant with Tuscan cuisine. Very nice and courteous waiter and cook. There were 6 of us and ordered 2x antipasti as a starter, 5x different pasta dishes and 1x wild boar. Rarely eaten so deliciously. In terms of taste, you could tell all the pasta dishes apart very well. Not one sousse is used for everything here. Everything freshly prepared. Porcini mushrooms are super delicious. All the noodles were on point. Wild boar was also very tender. With drinks it was around 23 euros/person.
28/06/2024: The homemade mushroom and truffle pici are very good. I highly recommend it. Not to mention the good platter of mind-boggling cheeses accompanied with honey, persimmons and plums with a good white wine. Meat fillet with mushrooms, it's worth a good dinner guys if you come to Bagni di San Filippo. stop by Mimmo and Barbara for advice on quality and goodness.

23/08/2024: Recommended to us by a Neapolitan who lives in the area, we ate an excellent pizza: tasty, rich in seasoning, light and well leavened. We ordered takeaway for 8pm, it arrived at 8.02pm and they were ready. Everything perfect!

27/08/2024: I recently dined at Il Pino, a place that left quite an impression—though not for the reasons one might hope. The food itself was satisfactory, but the atmosphere was overshadowed by the bizarre behavior of the owner, who seemed more interested in performing antics than running a restaurant.
As we were seated and began our meal, we couldn't help but notice the owner hanging from the balcony by one arm, a sight that was both alarming and distracting. He remained there throughout our entire dining experience, grunting and snuffling in a way that was impossible to ignore. His constant, unsettling presence made it difficult to enjoy the food or the company.
While the service was adequate, and the dishes were reasonably well-prepared, the overall experience was marred by the owner's antics. Dining out should be about enjoying good food and a pleasant atmosphere, but at Il Pino, the wild behavior of the owner took center stage in the worst possible way.
If you’re looking for a quiet, enjoyable meal, this might not be the place for you. But if you’re in the mood for something truly out of the ordinary—though not necessarily in a good way—you might find Il Pino worth a visit. Personally, I found the experience off-putting and unlikely to return.

27/08/2024: Today we were in this small, fine, rustic restaurant for the second time. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Max our dog also got some water straight away. Highly recommended!
We will come back when we are in Siena again.

14/08/2024: Nice place away from the hustle and bustle, in a cozy alley where a pleasant breeze blows through and where you can see the swallows at work.
• Delicious food, but the bruchetta bread could have been a little crispier and a little more oily. Bread was a bit dry and tasteless which somewhat lost the delicious toppings.
- For me, the caramelized onions and the goat cheese with pear were the best toppings.
* Furthermore, pasta and lasagna were spot-on good.
• And the house wine, you stay there for a delicious soft yet full wine with notes of raisin.
* The host was at our beck and call.
Feedback; An English menu, definitely recommended with all those tourists.
09/08/2024: I didn't intend to write a review—because of the recent negative reviews—but seeing how an awfully suspicious five-star rating popped up, I just had to share my experience. Something has CLEARLY gone wrong in the last few days because this restaurant is no longer what its reviews and images indicate. I had dinner here and ordered a panini; it was bland, with the biggest loaves I have ever seen. The loaves were untoasted, dry, and had a maximum of three drops of olive oil. The Parma ham was extremely thick—NOT TRADITIONAL—making it impossible to eat. The ends of the tomatoes were used, making for an extremely unappealing and overall bland meal. It's like the current owner/chef doesn't know what seasoning is. I can't speak for the bruschettas (only served in the morning), but I assume they share a similar story, as also indicated by a recent review.
I don't want to bash the restaurant, but this "food" is barely fit for human consumption. I urge the owner to take a look inward and realize the glaring issues with this restaurant. The service was okay—he had a hard time speaking and understanding English—and the atmosphere was calming, though the walkway by the restaurant was quite narrow.
The recent five-star review contradicts all my points, which is why I am almost certain it is propaganda by the owner. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but the points in that review are EXACTLY what he told us when we asked him about our meal at the restaurant.
For now, I do not recommend going here to eat, especially not for dinner.
