10/01/2025: My husband and I had dinner in this restaurant last January 5th and we were lucky enough to have the place just for us. It was a magical evening to say the least, because the waiter Riccardo, of a more unique than rare kindness, had prepared a table for us right in front of the lit fireplace and guided us with preparation and skill to taste the delicious dishes. In fact, the menu follows Lorenza De' Medici's original recipes, based on Tuscan tradition and local food but with combinations of particular and precious flavours. Praise here goes to chef Gianluca Di Virgilio, who made us savor beetroot ravioli stuffed with goat cheese, cappellacci made with fresh truffle pasta and pecorino fondue, braised beef cheek with cocoa sauce and spring onions and other exquisite delicacies we have never tried Before. Thank you so much for everything, despite the distance we will try to return as soon as possible!

05/01/2025: Il personale molto accogliente e mette a proprio agio. Ottimi piatti ben curati. Le porzioni non erano eccessive ma sufficienti. Il prezzo è adeguato al menù ed alla location. Siamo stati benissimo grazie alla prossima.....

22/03/2025: Grazie alla perfetta organizzazione di Barbara, ieri ci siamo riuniti qui in 16 per festegggiare i 50 anni dalla maturità. Il light lunch con menù concordato prevedeva antipasto, pici al pesto di cavolo nero e dessert. Avevamo una sala tutta per noi e il servizio è stato eccellente. Tra brindisi e chiacchere abbiam trascorso ore liete che ricorderemo con piacere

17/03/2025: Poor kitchen, pizza tasted like from freezer and warmed up, aperol doesn’t taste like aperol - a lot of water inside instead of alcohol itself. Price is not relevant to the food. Definitely not to visit again.

27/02/2025: We were in the Italian winter with my partner, end of February, few places open for lunch. We arrived after 2:00 p.m. and they welcomed us luxuriously in the place with the ideal temperature to counteract the cold outside. We ate 10 and they served us better. The girl and the person in charge of the place were a sweetheart. I highly suggest the vegetable soup, if I remember correctly Tuscany soup or something like that, and the cannoli they make there. For the first time I had the pleasure of trying that typical Italian dessert that is not always offered in places to eat.

16/04/2025: Excellent food and compliant with typical Sienese cuisine. Both the first and second courses were very good. Good value for money. The service is also satisfactory and the place is very comfortable.

13/01/2025: Con la mia compagna abbiamo deciso di regalarci un week end per il nostro anniversario fuori dalla confusione della città e quale posto migliore di Abbadia San Salvatore, per puro caso abbiamo scelto questo ristorante e che dire: spettacolo, all'arrivo siamo stati immediatamente accolti dal cameriere Emilio un giovane dinamico simpatico e preparatissimo nella conoscenza dei piatti proposti e soprattutto del pianeta vino ma parliamo del cibo: stratosferico, mai e poi mai pensavamo di vivere un esperienza gastronomica di questo livello,materie prime di primissima qualità sapientemente unite tra loro, sapori e profumi che in bocca e all'olfatto creano...... un vero orgasmo. Questo ristorante merita la presenza in guida Michelin. Complimenti ci rivedremo presto.

08/05/2024: Very nice and friendly personal! All spoke English. We ordered some cocktails and those were exceptionally delicious and very high quality! We also got some free of charge appetizers. The place was clean with nice atmosphere. The best thing were cocktails in the can! Homemade and prepared by them. Price just 6€. I can highly recommend this place. And if you're not into drinks you can also have some coffee and snacks.

11/12/2024: We stopped for a quick lunch, menu of the day with many options to choose from, some of which are also vegetarian/vegan. First courses a little salty, but overall good. The environment is that of a bar.. Even though they were in a hurry, the girls were very kind.

Two really kind people, they also recommended a great restaurant for dinner! If you find yourself in San Gimignano, you must stop in this wonderful little place, for a crepes, a sweet bubble tea or a very fresh frozen yogurt

15/03/2025: Beautiful evening: welcome, excellent service, dishes prepared by the chef who owns the restaurant, skilled in cooking meat and fish with quality raw materials, presenting traditional dishes with the addition of a polite creativity. We enjoyed a first entree offered by the chef, followed by creamed cod on chickpea cream and garlic croutons, spaghetti with oil, garlic, raw chilli, red prawns and their bisque, washed down with a fragrant pinot blanc. Well-built cellar provided. Exquisite homemade sweets. To conclude an experience worth trying and with the desire to repeat it to discover new dishes pampered with attention and without haste. Prices absolutely in line with the dishes offered, you leave happy!
