A pleasant surprise in the back streets of San Gimignano. It offers traditional dishes, very well prepared. The place is small, so it's best to book in advance, but it's definitely worth a try. The owner is very kind, and the service is attentive and prompt. The ingredients used are excellent, and the value is excellent. If you stop here for a snack, I recommend trying the lampredotto sandwich; it's truly delicious. Highly recommended.

The crostini were good (except for the vegetarian one which was supposed to be black cabbage and pecorino, but was converted to spinach and pecorino due to the lack of black cabbage, but without warning us) the first ones were terrible, overcooked and then the pasta arrived overcooked.
Great variety of foods with a few vegetarian options to choose from. Would recommend when in town. Staff are lovely. Would recommend the beans on the side- the Fagioli.
Also highly recommend the truffle pasta, risotto and regulated if you would like to try boar. We had also tried polenta with prochini mushrooms and the chickpeas.

We went here for dinner and had a great time.
It's informal and relaxed, with excellent food.
We had bruschetta, ribollita, and grandma's meatballs, and everything was perfect.
We found a little gem.

Very nice, cozy atmosphere. The welcome was kind and genuine, but the food wasn't cooked on site; we didn't see a kitchen. The meatballs were piping hot on the outside and, unfortunately, frozen on the inside. The tagliatelle with truffle had a good sauce but seemed very similar to pre-made products from well-known brands.
The wild boar was good, and I recommend it when available.
Overall, good.
