The location looks like something out of a painting. It's located inside a very refined and characteristic relais. The restaurant overlooks the vineyards and features a huge cuercia (a wooden barn) in the center of the room. It's literally a treehouse restaurant. The highlight, besides the view, is the staff, who are highly trained and, above all, friendly. A truly pampering experience.

We loved our stay at Borgo Santo Pietro and one of our favorite parts was the food at Trattoria sull'Albero. It was truly top notch! The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy with several wood burning fireplaces and an outstanding view of the countryside. There were great indoor and outdoor bars, fire pits, patio seating, truly everything you could want. Onto the food, which was SO SO good. Hands down the best pizza we had the entire time that we were in Italy. Nothing that we had wasn't delicious. The wild boar pasta and the fermented purple rice salad were also both stand outs. You can really tell that the ingredients are coming straight from farm to table. We came home in October but I am still dreaming about this food months later.

29/03/2026: Flavors of a bygone era in a timeless setting. Even the name "Tripolitania" harks back to times gone by, and in fact this restaurant boasts over a century of business, having opened way back in 1911, when Italy was no more than an empire... Here we rediscover the true flavors of Tuscan home cooking, now hard to find in an increasingly globalized and conformist restaurant industry. I highly recommend it, especially to foreign tourists who want to discover authentic dishes from this region. Will I return? Definitely.

01/04/2026: We chose this restaurant and bar in Chiusi Scalo for our lunch break. This restaurant and bar was a real discovery for us, as we love authentic flavors and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you enter, you feel a sense of familiarity, thanks both to the simple yet elegant decor and the friendly staff. The restaurant's strong point is undoubtedly the handmade pasta. I tried the Pici all'amatriciana and sensed the artisanal care and the choice of quality ingredients. A truly original feature is the book corner, a space dedicated to reading that invites you to slow down and enjoy. Here, you can browse books while sipping a coffee or waiting for your dish, creating an experience that goes beyond a simple meal. "Il Bersagliere" manages to harmoniously combine taste, culture, and simplicity. A small village gem that is definitely worth a visit.
