Trattoria sull'Albero In Chiusdino

We loved our stay at Borgo Santo Pietro and one of our favorite parts was the food at Trattoria sull'Albero. It was truly top notch! The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy with several wood burning fireplaces and an outstanding view of the countryside. There were great indoor and outdoor bars, fire pits, patio seating, truly everything you could want. Onto the food, which was SO SO good. Hands down the best pizza we had the entire time that we were in Italy. Nothing that we had wasn't delicious. The wild boar pasta and the fermented purple rice salad were also both stand outs. You can really tell that the ingredients are coming straight from farm to table. We came home in October but I am still dreaming about this food months later.

Wow!!! Out of this world! Food, service, ambience, drinks... everything was perfect and memorable. Highly recommended. Tricky to find, but totally worth it.
