27/01/2026: Excellent location as a base for exploring the Val d'Orcia. Situated on the edge of Sarteano, a charming village with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket. Friendly staff, a large park, a beautiful swimming pool, and well-maintained accommodations. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!

02/11/2025: I visited this charming campsite as a child with my parents, and I remember playing on the lawns, hanging out with the kids, and swimming in the pool. Several years have passed, and I decided to return with my children. I especially enjoyed the thermal mineral pools and their healing properties, as well as the children's areas like the playground and the pool with slides. As a parent, I also recommend this campsite for its cleanliness and nighttime surveillance (essential for safety). We chose the Lux glamping option...highly recommended! We'll definitely be back next year.

27/06/2026: A classic farm experience. The location is great and the views are amazing. The staff is kind and generous, especially the receptionist who goes above and beyond to help with any questions you may have. You get exactly everything listed on the website. If you are looking for a luxurious experience, this is not the place. Ill Rigo is a simple place that celebrates Tuscan farm life, and if you are looking for authenticity this is the place. A few things to note for those who are hesitating: there is no air conditioning in the rooms (the website states that), the breakfast is very poor in my opinion, there are not even hard-boiled eggs or an omelette and if you wish one you have to pay 5 euros which for my opinion eggs for breakfast are the basics, and finally dinner is also poor at a price of 40 euros per person.

19/05/2026: Beautiful place in Val D’Orcia. The hotel is very familiar, clean and cozy. Breakfast is nice, with various types of jam and honey produced locally. Very friendly staff

24/08/2026: We had straccetti with mushrooms and a basic pizza. Pizza was very well made, the straccetti a bit too chewy. We were allocated/ pointed to a table, received water with a bang on a table, like there you have it, a bit more friendliness would be good..great location though and food is ok. Great Belgian beer selection too.

21/08/2026: Very nice place in Piazza del Campo in Siena... a few meters from the Casato curve, knowledgeable and very friendly staff. Good pizza and very good appetizers. I do not recommend the meat main courses. High prices.

18/08/2026: Excellent restaurant with a beautiful view of Piazza del Campo in Siena, it is possible to eat outside enjoying the beautiful view of the whole Piazza Del Campo, excellent spaghetti alla carbonara well cooked and with an excellent seasoning, a delicious salad dressed with superfine olive oil, good coffee, delicious dessert and an Amaro served at the right temperature, even though there were a lot of people the very kind waiter immediately found us a free table, quick service, the price very cheap for being in one of the most beautiful squares in the world, Thank you!

12/06/2026: A good hotel for both a one-night stay on a business trip and a budget-conscious vacation. The building is dated but well-maintained. The room was clean, with a minibar and air conditioning that worked properly without being noisy. The dinner was good, including the excellent grilled steak. Breakfast was adequate, with many packaged but high-quality items. The staff were very kind and friendly, especially the morning staff. The grounds surrounding the hotel were beautiful and spacious.

05/06/2026: The Apogeo Hotel and restaurant in Bettolle is a true gem. The food is excellent, especially the Florentine steak, which is top-notch. Greetings to all the Apogeo staff. We'll be back soon.

23/08/2026: The meat wasn't bad, that much must be said, but let's also keep in mind the price: some cuts reach €75 per kg. For that kind of money, I definitely expect more, not only in terms of the quality of the meat but especially in terms of the service. There were two of us, and we spent about €110. There's also a €3 cover charge per person, which I find excessive considering there's only a placemat and paper napkin. The service, honestly, was what I wasn't particularly impressed with. The waiters, all foreigners, didn't seem particularly knowledgeable or attentive. At times, they even touched their hair while serving, and—something I found quite absurd—my companion was handed a bread basket to put the meat in. Furthermore, in a place where prices like this are charged, I'd expect the staff to be well-versed in the various cuts and at least able to explain the difference between a rib-eye steak and a steak. The meat wasn't bad, but at these prices, the service has to be up to par. For €110 for two, I honestly expected a better experience.

27/08/2026: There are restaurants that enjoy a reputation that's unfairly high. This is the case with Papei. We've tried to book several times over the years because it was highly recommended, but to no avail. Today we finally managed to do so: what a shame! It would have been better if we'd continued to believe in its reputation. The dishes are bland, devoid of love and flavor. Everything is too touristy. Even the prices are inflated. A huge disappointment.

27/08/2026: It had been recommended to me by several people. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything exciting. The pappardelle with wild boar sauce was too dry and lacking in flavor. The presence of pigeons among the tables didn't enhance the experience. Touristy.
