21/01/2026: I had made a reservation for lunch on January 18th. However, when my family and I arrived, we found it closed. Shameful and disrespectful.

20/12/2025: The all-you-can-eat formula is truly a success; you can try every dish on the menu and decide whether to continue and gorge yourself on the food or sample everything, enjoying both the delicious starters and truly special main courses. The service is very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

04/07/2026: We ended up visiting Lo Sdrucciolo twice during our stay in Radda, and we'd happily go back again. If you're in town, this is the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail before dinner. The cocktail menu has plenty of great options, and they also have a full bar if you're looking for something specific. We stopped in around aperitivo time, and the complimentary snacks were a great touch and paired perfectly with our drinks. What really made this place stand out was the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Their English was excellent, which made ordering easy, and it was fun watching locals gather here in the evenings—it felt like a true neighborhood spot. Even if the tables are full, it's worth grabbing a drink and enjoying it on the nearby benches with everyone else. We didn't have a full meal here, so I can't comment on the food, but for cocktails, service, and atmosphere, this place was one of our favorite stops in town. Highly recommended if you're visiting Radda in Chianti.

14/01/2026: Poor quality! After ordering three Toscanaccio sandwiches with Chianina burgers (which isn't a classic sandwich (semi-sweet), but rather a schiacciata like the one pictured on the menu), we received three classic sandwiches with mushrooms that tasted like pickled mushrooms and mayonnaise! Luckily, at least the burger was Chianina, and the quality was still poor! I pointed out to the waiter that I hadn't ordered the sandwiches he'd brought us—three classic sandwiches with Chianina—but three Toscanaccio sandwiches. I showed him the photo on the menu, and he argued that those were the sandwiches, even though they looked completely different in the photo! After a heated discussion, we took them, but upon eating them, we noticed that the toppings and the bun were truly awful! Terrible service and quality! It would have been enough to say that they had run out of that type of sandwich (schiaccia) without insisting and arguing that that was the sandwich! It was completely different! We won't be going back!

29/06/2026: This bar is located right in the heart of Tegqanda's historic center. It presents itself as a familiar meeting place for locals and visitors alike. For us, it offered a good selection of gelato and very friendly, even funny, service.

03/05/2026: My husband and I were fortunate to arrange a last minute wine tasting which turned out to be a highlight during our trip to Italy. Aldo and staff took such great care of us and the wine and food were exquisite. I cannot wait to receive the wine that we ordered, it was phenomenal.

02/05/2026: We came for the day to do a tasting and did not stay the night. Aldo, our host and one of the owners of this family run winery, was incredibly warm and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tour of the modern and clean wine cellar was enlightening. But the true highlight was the wine, which they clearly put a lot of heart and soul into. By the winemaker’s choice, their reds are aged in French oak for more years that what is required and this imparts some delightful and complex notes to the already amazing Sangiovese grapes. Their Rosso and Brunello are unmatched, in our experience. I feel they are small and growing and now is the time to discover them, before they blow up. We had a glass of their brunello in Rome and had to find them at their vineyard in Tuscany. We’ve been to later, more popular (and more expensive) wineries and these guys still are our favorite. The food that accompanied the wine was exquisite and made from wholly local good, many harvested right on property. I cannot speak to the rooms, but when we return to Tuscany, we plan to find out and have the full experience. I cannot say enough good about Cordella.

08/02/2026: Magnificent! It's a 1861 villa, very tastefully refurbished in c. 2023 into a chic hotel. We were 2 adults and 2 small children. Loved our stay there, and the cons noted below are very minor. Beautiful place! PROS + Location. It's only 20min away from Alagna, and there are circa 15 parking spaces at the entrance to the Villa. + Standard of finishes and the interior decor. This place just looks amazing. It's superbly renovated and very tastefully decorated. + Well equipped. Couldn't really ask for more. (Maybe bigger mugs would be nice to have some tea) + Warm inside. We were here in the winter, it was -5 outside, and 22 inside. + The children playroom - great feature. Most of toys are for children aged 1 to 5, which suited us perfectly. + The library / reading room. Two standing shelves full of books, an eclectic selection of everything. 90% of books in Italian, with some 5 volumes in English and the rest in German. + Quiet. Even though our room was facing the main road, there wasn't any traffic during the night that might bring any noise. + Gigantic super-king size bed, double-sized sleeping sofa, and a sitting sofa in the kitchen. + Lift providing access to all floors. + Amazing panoramic view from our apartment, overlooking the road below, and the mountains all around. CONS - We couldn't give our kids a bath, as the shower didn't have a hand-held shower head, only the high level one. We were there only for 3 nights so it wasn't the end of the world though. - Just barely enough supplies, with no kitchen paper towels, just one washing machine tablet. - Not entirely child-proof. Historical chest of drawers beneath the windows are surely gorgeous, but our kids kept on crawling onto them and tried to open the windows. - Difficult and steep entrance road from the main road.

17/09/2025: I stayed in this villa in the early 1960s, during the summer when it was a summer camp for children from the Biella area. I only have a few very pleasant memories, both of the structure and of the walks in the surrounding area. And also of the delicious baked stuffed onions they sometimes served with meals.

05/03/2026: I was there today, together with a friend of mine, the owner is really nice, professional, simple and down to earth, the place is well kept, clean and tidy, they also do first courses, in addition to aperitifs and spritzes, there are also scratch and win cards. I will definitely be back!

12/05/2026: Creative and tasty pizza in a more residential part of Siena. Great food away from the crowds. Good beer list as well.

19/08/2026: Her kindness amazed me. She was the only one on August 19th who let us taste the wines and treated us kindly at 10 pm. I'd reward her for this alone. Friendliness and everything was top-notch.

14/08/2026: A lady in glasses came out, began yelling because we wanted to move two tables by one another. Then said she didn’t have pasta or pizza. One shouldn’t speak to customers this way. I don’t understand it. She then went into the restaurant, I followed her in and relayed to her she didn’t need to get mad and begin yelling. Strange way to behave when in the service industry.

24/07/2026: Excellent pasta, lovely atmosphere – unfortunately marred by the service. The pasta was superb, and the small square in front of the osteria is truly charming. Unfortunately, the waiter was the most unfriendly we encountered during our entire stay in the region. Furthermore, the complete lack of background music made the atmosphere feel rather cold, especially with relatively few guests. A pity – with a bit more warmth and a more inviting ambiance, the evening could have been so much better.

15/08/2026: A lovely place, everyone was very friendly and the service was good and fast, we had a great time.

15/08/2026: TERRIBLE. The pasta was inedible; first of all, you could tell it wasn't handmade like they say on the menu. The porcini mushroom sauce was probably spoiled or at least of very low quality. The sliced ​​beef had no flavor, just a hint of spiciness from something I don't know what, as neither pepper nor chili pepper was listed anywhere on the menu. The baked potatoes with Tuscan pecorino cheese were unspeakable... the potato underneath was boiled but completely unseasoned, and on top was a thin layer of flavorless cheese, definitely not pecorino. The only good thing were the fries, obviously frozen. I recognized them immediately; they're the kind you find at the supermarket—I could even say the brand. It was truly a huge disappointment, such a beautiful view wasted on such a mediocre place. Don't go there.

21/08/2026: Don’t let this place deceive you with its inconspicuous appearance. This place is absolutely spectacular. Try Crema di Siena and enjoy the best icecream in Italy! 🇮🇹 home made alb the spot and served by the lovely and helpful owner!

17/08/2026: The staff were rude. The ice cream was just okay. The girl who served me, with a sour face, seemed odd, since when I came in she was laughing and joking with her colleagues in the back room. Anyway, I wouldn't go back just for that reason.

23/05/2026: We just ate our best meal in Italy at this restaurant, all thanks to this special place, and the amazing folks that make it happen. I believe it’s Karin and Antonio that run it, and after dinner I literally was compelled to hug them both. It was a set menu, lovely and so creative and beautiful, and importantly all vegan. This meal rivalled anything we had during our entire 3 week trip. All of the reviews here seem to be glowing so I’ll leave these 5 stars to pile on to the rave reviews. More than all of this, if you get lucky and meet Karin and Antonio, which is most likely during your visit, you will find the most delightful and genuine people, with smiles that fill you up just like the food will. Bravo!! I am so lucky we found you, and so grateful for dining here.
