22/12/2025: My daughter celebrated her 18th birthday here, and I have to say it exceeded our expectations. The food was very good, the location was beautiful and evocative, and the owner was very helpful; she even organized the music and decorations for us. I highly recommend it.

27/12/2025: We stopped for breakfast at this café. We had two coffees and a tiny slice of tart. When it came time to pay, the bill was much higher than expected (there was no indication of prices or the type of desserts in the display case), and we were told they charged restaurant prices. "The law requires that, when a product is displayed to the public, the price must be clearly and pre-emptively known to the customer, without them having to ask." An experience not to be repeated.

22/12/2025: A truly excellent restaurant in Bagni San Filippo. The food is excellent, with excellent traditional local dishes prepared with great care. The location is beautiful, both inside and out, especially in the summer. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

03/02/2026: What a disappointment. The restaurant is small, expensive, and not good. The meat was so riddled with tendons that half of it was inedible. The service was extremely slow, and the waiter made fun of our German group in Italian. I expect more respect, especially when he doesn't know that some of our group speak Italian.

10/01/2026: I've visited over 100 Italian restaurants with delicious food and the hospitality befitting Italy. I've never been so disappointed. We were a group of 10, and only one was somewhat satisfied. The problem is the dramatically small portions. All my pasta could have been wrapped around a fork three times. It was a two-year-old's portion and cost €22. I have the impression that Mr. Catastrophe's sense of humor is also a defense mechanism, as he reeked of stress. When we pointed out that they served micro-portions, we were told we could finish it with bread... I'm speechless. I understand that some restaurants aim for multi-course orders, but at the prices there, that would mean €100 per person. When paying the bill, the manager completely ignored the problem and offered no explanation, let alone an apology. He gladly accepted the money. We left hungry. I HIGHLY recommend against it.

29/11/2025: On the recommendation of a friend who lives in Siena, I stopped by for some gelato. It was truly excellent, one of the best I've had all summer. Recommended. Prices are average.

26/10/2025: A little disappointed given the good ratings in the reviews. First the positive, the price quantity ratio is very good. On the other hand, I did not like the crema flavor at all, which had a slightly chemical taste. The hazelnut and pistachio were not pronounced enough in taste and the marron glacé ice cream had a slightly strange taste. In short, nothing catastrophic but nothing exceptional, too bad.

01/10/2025: Cosimo Pizza is truly something special. We read fantastic reviews and, trust me, they do not exaggerate! The best dough you will ever taste makes for a pizza that is absolute perfection. Highly recommended. ❣️👍👍👍

30/07/2025: Got a takeaway from here. A couple of pizzas and a beer. The service was amazing and the guy who ran it were lovely. Even went out the back to get me a ice cold beer. The pizza was really nice. A little salty for me, but I think that is for my tastes not for any other reason. Would happily go back.

16/03/2026: Absolutely stunning property with world class Brunello paired with some incredible food too. Marco did a great job walking us through the menu and the pairing recommendations. We enjoyed 4 different wines at lunch and were so impressed that we also took the wine tasting experience as well! First class all around…cannot recommend this place enough.

11/12/2025: We came here to have a wine lover's lunch as part of the tour. The restaurant and the view from there are gorgeous. I felt like I was in a movie set. First: Beef tartare —it was so fresh, with no chewiness or meat flavor. It was very refreshing. Second: Homemade pici with basil pesto — it was not easy to eat. I love the texture of pasta, too. It was nicely cooked and seasoned. Wine: Brunello wines paired with food were excellent. The ones that they served for us were not available for purchase. I really enjoyed the (Moscadello)sweet wine. It was neither too heavy nor too sweet, like sherry. This experience taught me about Brunello and Moscadello. I wish I could get them in the U.S. I am still dreaming about this food and place.

13/09/2025: Maybe we should change the opening hours on Google so at least someone doesn't waste time coming all the way there and reading "closed".

14/02/2026: We ate, savoring typical local dishes at an unexpectedly low price compared to other osterias. Everything was very tasty, although the service was a bit slow, but that's compatible with the fact that the dishes aren't pre-prepared. Highly recommended.

05/01/2026: GOOD MORNING We had a really WONDERFUL New Year's Eve dinner!!!! The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the timing was perfect so we could then go out and stroll before celebrating midnight. The price was RIGHT!!!! We'll definitely be back. 04/01/2026: ...we were with a group of camper friends... 30 people for New Year's Eve!! What can I say... the food was excellent, the service was perfect, and the location was very nice, very close to the main square!! We had a great time, and they even set aside a room just for us!! Everything was delicious... the tagliatelle with duck ragù and the tagliata were sublime... and the chocolate salami was top notch!! Thank you so much!!

14/09/2025: I came here to buy my favorite beer, Olmaia La5, which I think is one of the best craft beers I've tasted so far. The shop also sells other beers with more character, but I liked La5 for its character and flavor. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The brewery is a half-hour drive from the Valdichiana exit on the A1 motorway, about 7 km from Montepulciano in the town of Sant'Albino. It's a bit out of the way, but it's worth the trip.

29/08/2025: Anyone who thinks the wine country around Montepulciano is all about wine is mistaken: We discovered a little beer paradise in the "diaspora" 🍺😄. Delicious beer, warm and friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. A detour that's definitely worth it!
