We decided to have lunch in this small and welcoming osteria in Pienza and we were welcomed very warmly and with great kindness. I had a very good Tuscan ribollita, I could feel that the ingredients were of high quality, in particular the flavor of the olive oil stood out, very good! My Korean boyfriend, being a meat lover, wanted to try peposo. He really liked it and thinks it might be a dish that Korean tourists might particularly enjoy. Prices in the norm of restaurants/taverns in the area. Very warm, intimate and friendly atmosphere.

La Pecora Nera is in a narrow and characteristic alley. But inside it is even more picturesque!
A single room, below street level, very small and crammed with tables. It fills up immediately and you eat it all together, convivially. The food comes into the room from a "hole" in the wall.
There are architectural barriers and the bathroom is uncomfortable.
It's not for everyone, but if you want an original experience, you've found your place in Pienza.
The food is good, with classic traditional dishes and some that rework the usual ingredients in an original way (such as earthenware polenta with fondue and crispy bacon).
Few wines, but local.
Very friendly and welcoming service even with children.
Prices are slightly high for the area, but the experience is worth it.

Small tavern where the managers accompany you in a familiar environment.
Excellent choice of typical dishes.

While passing through Pienza we couldn't find a place that wasn't fully booked, but fortunately we came across this small tavern and after a bit of waiting the very friendly managers made us sit in the room, which was very small but equally characteristic. We enjoyed excellent Tuscan cuisine, with well-made dishes, in particular I recommend the truly excellent ribollita and the crostoni mixed with the excellent local cured meats and cheeses. Meat main courses are also good although perhaps they are a little too salty. The house wine is excellent. Overall experience I recommend!

The best lasagna we have ever eaten! A small shop that is owned by a very kind androgynous and they work together with 5-6 small tables set up with a very beautiful and traditional decor! In an alley that is not easy to find, but you leave the tourist area and go to the original Italian taverns!

If you want to try a genuine Italian meal then this is definitely the place to enjoy it.
A Lilliputian place in the narrow streets of Pienza with warm hospitality from its owners.
The most beautiful lasagna we have ever eaten.
Thanks !
