A quiet and private place. We ate on the veranda, and it was cold outside, but it was welcoming. The food was good and varied.

We were looking for lunch.
Trusting the reviews, it confirmed what had happened before us.
On the advice of the staff, we ordered from the off-menu and chose ricotta and spinach tortelli.

The gluten-free pizza is excellent, as are the regular ones, and the desserts, both gluten-free and gluten-free. The menu offers very tasty and varied dishes. The quality/price ratio is good, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

During our tour of the Val d'Orcia, we stumbled upon Il Gatto e la Volpe for dinner, a welcoming and very warm little place. Domenico looked after us and suggested some of their signature dishes (the house-made pici are highly recommended). We can't recommend it highly enough! It's a shame we don't live nearby; we would definitely have gone there to try their pizzas and panuozzi (another house specialty). Highly recommended!

I'll just say that I've never had such good rigatoni with paiata and coda alla vaccinara, even in Rome. Compliments to the chef and a special thanks to Domenico for the attentive and friendly service.

We had dinner on Valentine's Day, which was also a Saturday. We ate wonderfully. All the ingredients were excellent quality, with generous portions and toppings, and we also spent very little. When I was ordering, the waiter even advised me not to order anything else because the portions were generous, and indeed, that was the case. It was truly a great place to eat, especially considering it was also Saturday and Valentine's Day. In about an hour, we ate everything, including dessert, and then left.

We were here last week… the fritto misto was delicious, I could have eaten 10 more, the pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten… the waiters were very kind and attentive… a great experience!

We had the pleasure of dining here, inspired by the numerous positive reviews.
I can't find the right words to describe how amazing it was.
This time we tried the locally sourced cured meats appetizer and the pizza (and for that, I can only congratulate the pizza chef), but next time we return to Abbadia, we'll try something else.
Congratulations also to the service: everyone was friendly, helpful, and above all, quick.
