01/01/2026: In the magical village of Volpaia, the Osteria offers a refined and elegant atmosphere, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and dishes that showcase local ingredients with a delicately exotic touch that will surprise you. Last but not least, our two dogs were welcomed with joy. We'll definitely be back. Well done, Filippo and Martina!

29/12/2025: Highly recommended. The dishes are exceptional, and you can immediately see the attention to detail (as well as a lot of passion). Bonus: pet-friendly! Our dog, Barolo, was treated like a true prince. If you can, stop by and try the pumpkin buttons!

26/07/2026: We stopped for lunch on the way off the highway and ate like a king! Excellent Tuscan appetizer with a selection of Pienza pecorino cheeses, bruschetta, and cured meats, delicious pici and peposo, and the incredibly tasty pappa al pomodoro! Generous portions and excellent food quality, and the service was also extremely courteous and attentive. Highly recommended!

16/08/2026: We've dined here twice and were always satisfied. The cured meats and pici were exceptional. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the view of the hills was magnificent. Recommended.

21/08/2026: Overall, a nice and typical place. Foreign tourists will definitely go crazy for it. And indeed, there were quite a few. The service was provided by very friendly young people. Then, someone I assumed was the owner came by to ask how things were going. Nice location in the square with a beautiful sunset view. The gratin cheese as an appetizer was a bit heavy and a bit pricey (€16) for what it was. The pici all'aglione were good and reasonably priced (€16). Overall, however, I felt the price was a bit high for the quality (a glass of wine was €15). But all in all, I can't say I had a bad meal. Unfortunately, part of the dinner was disturbed by some musicians playing at full volume in the square... but that's not the restaurant's fault. I might return, if I'm ever in the area, to try again.

23/07/2026: Lovely, cosy Italian restaurant. The service is extremely friendly and quick. The food is well presented and of high quality. The taste of the food is extremely good! We enjoyed it very much and would really recommend it even though it is a little more expensive than elsewhere but totally worth it!

08/06/2026: Had dinner here with my mother and teenage children. Food was absolutely phenomenal. Pleasant, family run restaurant, reasonably priced, with a great view. This is the traditional family restaurant you are looking for. 10/10 would come again!

07/08/2026: A wonderfully beautiful setting, almost in the woods (it's best to spray yourself with insect repellent beforehand), with delicious food and great wines. A fantastic daily menu and very friendly, personal service. Reservations are a must, as it's very popular with locals. On the evening of our visit, we were the only non-Italians...

22/07/2026: I ordered the green pepper fillet, incredibly tender and delicious. The side dishes included baked potatoes and delicious grilled vegetables (not the usual McDonald's-style potatoes that are now ubiquitous). The platter for two featured quality cured meats and various other delicacies. The fried polenta was amazing (according to my wife, who is Venetian!), and the puff pastry rolls filled with mozzarella balls—what can I say? Ingenious and delicious, I could have eaten a bucket of them! The eggplant and buffalo mozzarella mousse was a delicious surprise. The dessert was delicate and freshly prepared, superb! In short, the ingredients were fresh and high-quality, the kitchen was expertly prepared, and the prices were fair. We'll be back again. BRAVO!

21/06/2026: I visited this wine shop in Pienza and was absolutely delighted – this place deserves the highest rating! I had a fantastic time here, greatly influenced by the wonderful and extremely professional service. The wonderful, approachable gentleman (presumably the owner) deserves special praise. He is dedicated to serving his guests, creating a unique, welcoming atmosphere. Another huge plus is the wine list. They have a very wide selection of wines, including those available by the glass, so you can experiment with different flavors. We also ordered food, which was simply delicious and perfectly complemented the entire evening. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place with great customer service. I will definitely be back! 🍷

11/12/2025: A pleasant place, the owner is friendly and helpful, the wine is good, and the prices are fair. It has very convenient private parking and is easy to get to. The only flaw: my Chianti stew wasn't good. The cut of meat was probably not exceptional, which is a shame, because the sauce was excellent. The first courses and appetizers are good. The local pecorino croquettes are worth trying. Prices are fair and the portions are generous. The wines are mostly their own, good, and competitively priced. Definitely worth trying again.

28/05/2026: We love this place! It‘s our favorite Pizza and we come here everytime we‘re in the area. It‘s not fancy, rather simple but the owners are so nice and the pizza is the best in the world (according to our kids ;). Enjoy!!

01/05/2026: Service was fast, food arrived in about ten minutes. Atmosphere as befits a Chinese restaurant. I only wish there was more pork with noodles, as shown on the menu. Otherwise a very tasty dish.

30/04/2026: Today in Siena, the wind was strong and the temperature dropped, making it quite chilly. For dinner, we went to Rose Restaurant and had delicious boiled beef and Kung Pao chicken. The flavors were a bit too salty and spicy for us Taiwanese. The stir-fried water spinach with garlic was also great, with a wonderful wok hei (wok aroma) – very tasty. I also highly recommend the corn and chicken soup and the tomato and egg drop soup; they were excellent and warmed us up considerably in this cold weather. I highly recommend it to any Asian friends visiting Siena! 👍

05/07/2026: I recommend it! The cornettos were delicious, and the mozzarella and tomato tramezzino was also good. The place is clean and the service is fast, the staff are very polite. Great prices.
