Fast and friendly service, honest prices and generous portions. I recommend the Gran Tagliere, with which up to 3 people can eat. The first courses which reflect the culinary and Tuscan tradition are also highly recommended. Whether it's pappardelle with wild boar ragù or pici senese they are all excellent. Also worth trying is the ribollita. The Florentine is also very well made. Paid parking nearby.

We had dinner on two consecutive evenings given the quality and friendliness of the staff. The environment is not spacious, but very welcoming. We recommend it.

Personally I can only express an opinion on the availability of the owner (who accepted us and found a place for 4 without a real reservation and on a Wednesday evening with the place packed!) on the not excellent Mini platter (so-so the cured meats, not much of the crostini) and the pleasant and economical flask of house red (Sangiovese). Those who dined with me greatly appreciated the other courses, sliced ​​beef and ribollita, as well as the baked vegetable caponata (the potatoes were also ok although slightly sweetish). Very low cost and a pleasant environment, albeit small (perhaps a little too full when we were there, to be able to enjoy it to the fullest). Definitely worthy.

A very pleasant experience, historic restaurant in Poggibonsi with very pleasant typical Tuscan dishes. I suggest you try it if you are in the area. Friendly service and very fair price.

Piccolo locale nel centro di Poggibonsi. Questo locale è una vera chicca per chi cerca una trattoria con piatti tradizionali e abbondanti. Come l'antipasto per 2 si mangia tranquillamente in 4.. spettacolare lo spettacolare lo spezzatino di cinghiale. Il personale è gentilissimo e molto paziente anche con il nostro bimbo di un anno e mezzo che ha fatto qualche capriccio! Il prezzo è onesto e proporzionato alla qualità del cibo. Un'ottima scoperta!

Siamo tornati per due sere perché abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Antipasti ottimi, pasta molto buona, anche la pappa al pomodoro. Involtini di verza delicati. Molte opzioni vegetariane. Vino buono. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo!

Ristorante Da Pode all' Hotel Sovestro

01/04/2024: We returned this evening after spending Easter in this hotel. Very nice place surrounded by greenery with two swimming pools (one very beautiful, in a garden full of daisies with various benches and chairs to sit and relax). It is possible to get to San Gimignano on foot with a walk through the greenery that starts right there near the hotel. Rich breakfast with fresh cold cuts and quality desserts. Excellent and plentiful Easter lunch, very kind waiters like all the staff, I want to say! Nice room with a nice terrace overlooking the garden. I would definitely stay here again to take advantage of the two beautiful swimming pools. The environment is very relaxing and we had a really good time, congratulations to everyone!
11/02/2024: The structure is welcoming, well organized and easily accessible by car. The village of San Gimignano is just a few minutes away either by car or on foot. The rooms are spacious, clean and refined in every detail. Abundant and international breakfast, satisfied the tastes of each of us. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite and, above all, always smiling. The shuttle service to San Gimignano is excellent. An experience we will repeat.

07/04/2024: Great restaurant in Gaiole in where They serve local food and really tasty food. Highly recommending to have a good diner there we have enjoyed really good time and tasting the local Italian food. The quality of the food is there, appreciated this experience. Even tasting different local oil. Thank you for the welcome
20/03/2024: While on a bike ride, I ended up there by accident. Appetizer, gnocchi, coffee. Everything served at the expected time, tasty. Lower rating for the sleepy staff who spent most of the time with their noses in their cell phones.
