Here we are in San Gimignano....🎉🎉🎉🎉 Surrounded by the beauty, we head towards the Risto Macelleria..... Yes, because the place is something you have to seek out and find... Away from the main road... Let's start with a fixed point: being welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and friendliness is a real pleasure, and that's why Alex is here. Yes, Alex will accompany you and guide you through a super experience. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating and, in my opinion, focuses on tartare and carpaccio. They do them superbly... We had the chef's trio of tartares and a couple of capacci... All divine. Let's be clear, in places with such a high traffic, the risk of being ripped off by touristy places is high, but here at the Risto Macelleria, you can feel the great passion and expertise in handling raw meat but, above all, in serving and pampering the customer. We're still ecstatic. A perfect dinner from every perspective: the venue with a splendid view of Piazza Sant'Agostino, which already serves as a wonderful backdrop, the staff with a courtesy, honesty, thoughtfulness, and professionalism we've rarely encountered, and the food, which to call aphrodisiac is perhaps an understatement. Attracted by their selection of raw fish, our passion, we found ourselves far exceeding our expectations: the charcuterie and cheese platter is a gem, the pappa al pomodoro, which we'd longed to try, is exceptional in its aroma and flavor. And what about the tartare with burrata and basil pesto and the Angus carpaccio with buffalo mozzarella, anchovies, and artichoke cream? The epitome. Oh. I forgot. When we heard the magic words "homemade tiramisu," we were completely won over. A magnificent ending. Thank you so much, we'll spread the word because you deserve it.

This is amazing place and so delicious. In terms of meat and service are so good and fresh. If you love tartar and meat so you SHOULD GO this place. I am so happy to eat very good quality of meat. And the persons are so kindly. They deserved five 🌟

We were in San Gimignano and, on the advice of a friend who lives nearby, we avoided the main square for once. I Piaceri della Carne is located in a much quieter corner, and that alone says something about the kind of place it is. We ate an exceptional beef tartare, available in various flavors, and a Black Angus carpaccio. I don't think I've ever tasted raw beef of this quality, consistency, and flavor. The wines were good, simple, and truly local, not the usual, over-the-top labels. What made the difference, however, was the feeling of being treated like curious people and not like tourists to be quickly disposed of. Each dish was explained with genuine expertise, making you feel part of something, not just a postcard. It's a project where you can feel the love and passion behind it. I recommend it to anyone who comes here and wants to truly understand this place beyond the most obvious Tuscan stereotype. Well done, guys!

A wonderful dinner in one of the quietest and most charming squares in San Gimignano. We ordered only raw meats, and it couldn't have been a better choice! We were thrilled with the quality and the combinations offered. Highly recommended for all meat lovers! The service was very friendly and helpful!

The tartar and carpaccio are excellent. I would, however, recommend adding vegetables to the menu.

If you love meat and are coming to San Gimignano, you absolutely must eat here. Everything was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
