My husband and I had dinner at this small restaurant/pub. We had made reservations, realizing it was quite small with only a few tables inside and out, based on other reviews. Silvio, the young owner, welcomed us kindly and served us quickly. We ordered two platters of mixed cured meats, three types of pecorino cheese and porchetta, two portions of Tuscan tripe in a pot, a portion of fried potatoes, and a plate of eggplant with mushrooms and pan-fried chicory. We were truly satisfied; everything was delicious!!! Not everyone likes tripe, and obviously there were other options, but if someone does, we can say they were the absolute best we've ever had in a restaurant. We absolutely recommend it!

We stopped here on a whim today and were blown away. The pasta was delicious and the fries were the best we’ve had in Europe so far. Everything came out fresh and piping hot. The craft beer selection is fantastic and a nice change of pace from all the wine tasting. The owner is friendly and accommodating and will tailor a beer to whatever you’re in the mood for. He really knows his stuff. Prices are extremely reasonable. A great place to stop for lunch and grab a beer!

Good atmosphere, very friendly servers, and the food seemed to be of good quality... however, the portions were clearly not enough for us. We were still very hungry after the main course, so we decided to make up for it with dessert. A beer brownie was on the menu, and we were thrilled! Big disappointment when our two plates arrived: the €7 brownie was actually two small cubes (about the size of a vegetable stock cube) sprinkled with icing sugar... I'd never seen anything like it... In total, €46 for two... and we were still hungry when we left.

We went for dinner yesterday. We ordered a slice of Cinta Senese and drank some excellent beers recommended by the owner. Then we had fantastic pici.

I had an amazing experience at La Bottega Matta. The food was outstanding—everything was freshly cooked using high-quality local ingredients, and you could really taste the difference. They also offer a great selection of artisanal beers, with plenty of variety to choose from, which perfectly complemented the meal.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious food, great beer, and a warm atmosphere!
