A very well positioned family restaurant, with good traditional Tuscan food and more. I had a reservation for a certain number of people, but more came, and the staff managed the situation very well and set up more tables without any comment, which I really liked. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful meal here! We got in a little late but were still greeted with great service and a delicious meal! The chicken and octopus were so good! Would absolutely recommend coming here. Super easy parking as well!

This is THE best restaurant we ate at during our week in Tuscany. The six of us who stayed around the corner at Casali di Casole said we would have eaten at Ristorante Pizzeria La Locanda del Molino every night if we could have. The food was truly spectacular and we are still talking about it 6 weeks later. The Florentine Steak and the Carbonara were both to die for as well as every other meal we all tried. The restaurant was filled to capacity every night with families, friends, and couples all eating phenomenal food and fully enjoying their evening. Thank you for offering such impeccable food! I do not believe we will ever experience such delicious food again but I am so thankful we had the opportunity to experience it at least a couple times. With gratitude, Addison & Teresa

We had dinner at La Locanda del Molino on Saturday evening before participating in the Strade Bianche. We were recommended by Giulio of Agriturismo La Villa 2 in Simignano. We couldn't have made a better choice. The restaurant is very well-maintained and the veranda is lovely. The staff is a mix of Neapolitan and Tuscan; the hospitality and attention are top-notch, as a true Romagnolo. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and smiling. The menu is varied and caters to all tastes, with excellent appetizers, first courses, and excellent meat. We didn't try pizza or fish, but there were some interesting dishes. We opted to start with a mixed platter, which served three of us, followed by pici pasta, stewed wild boar (delicious), and my wife had an excellent tagliata with porcini mushrooms. The price was average. Kudos to the entire staff. Highly recommended.

The food is good. From the restaurant to the pizza. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly. I recommend the Locanda del Molino. Reservations are recommended, preferably for the first shift. 7:30 PM. The place is very quiet and peaceful at that time.

Well... I was recommended this place for their Neapolitan pizza, which has very little to do with Neapolitan food—it's edible, but nothing more. Extremely slow service, and the atmosphere and menu are stuck in the '80s.

14/04/2026: Antica Osteria di Bazzino is a true gem located at Via Giovanni Montorsoli, 63, in Poggibonsi. This quaint restaurant manages to convey the authentic atmosphere of Tuscan tradition, with its walls adorned with old photographs that tell the story of the city. As soon as you enter, you sense a warm welcome and attention to detail that make the dining experience special. Service was surprisingly quick, allowing us to enjoy our dishes without long waits, which is always a plus. As for the food, the fillets with porcini mushrooms and vinegar were a true masterpiece. They were cooked perfectly: tender and flavorful, each bite melted in your mouth, enhanced by a wonderful combination of flavors. We paired our meal with a glass of house wine, which proved to be an excellent pairing, further enriching the dining experience. In short, Antica Osteria di Bazzino is a place where Tuscan culinary tradition blends with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area who wants to enjoy a good meal in a charming setting.

11/12/2025: A pleasant place, the owner is friendly and helpful, the wine is good, and the prices are fair. It has very convenient private parking and is easy to get to. The only flaw: my Chianti stew wasn't good. The cut of meat was probably not exceptional, which is a shame, because the sauce was excellent. The first courses and appetizers are good. The local pecorino croquettes are worth trying. Prices are fair and the portions are generous. The wines are mostly their own, good, and competitively priced. Definitely worth trying again.
