Wow, really enjoyed our dinner at Il Frantoio a few days ago. Well priced, excited dishes and perfect service. Worth being noticed in the Michelin guide.

Amazing dining experience in Colle. From the very first greeting, the menu and super extensive wine list walkthrough - we felt welcome. We chose from the a la carte menu, with chicken liver pate and ox tongue as appetizers (the paté is amazing!), then moved to smoked spaghetti, fava bean risotto with smoked trout and then pork loin. There wasn’t a single dish that was short of amazing. The wine list was a bit intimidating with bottles ranging from 25 to 900 EUR but the lovely guy who welcomed us also helped with the wine choice- and it was great. Warmly recommended!

We came across this amazing spot in the Michelin guide. It was simply brilliant and such a special place to celebrate my 30th birthday. The service was expectional - guiding us through wine choices. The setting balanced a private dining experience, while retaining the authenticity and buzz of a Tuscan restaurant. The attention to detail (in presentation, flavour and textures) was so clear! I hope one day to be able to return.

A fantastic experience!! The location is evocative and meticulously maintained, every corner exudes history and charm. The food is pure poetry, top-notch ingredients cooked to perfection. The wait staff is highly trained and available to answer any questions or concerns about the venue. The price is reasonable for the quality of the venue, the service, and the cuisine. I will remember it for a long time, and I will return at every opportunity.

The dishes were truly spot-on. I've rarely eaten so well. Exceptional livers, beautifully cooked pigeon, smoked spaghetti with black garlic and anchovy sauce—spectacular, tasty, and with perfectly balanced flavors. The service was very pleasant, with kind and attentive staff. The wine list was very adequate, with a good selection and competitive prices. Excellent value.

All dishes are very well-balanced and well-executed. The perfect place to enjoy the new-harvest olive oil: cod in chickpea and cavolo nero cream, handmade tortelli with olive oil and parmesan, peposo all'imprunetina with beans, and an honorable mention for the olive oil gelato. 10 out of 10!!

06/05/2026: The epitome of a village pub! A village pub, pizzeria, trattoria all rolled into one, combined with warmth, enthusiasm, and (in modern parlance) authenticity. The pizza is fantastic! We used to go there just for that, but everything else is delicious too. They have a wine selection; we stuck to the house wine and draft beer, plus some local specialties. It's just like you remember and hope for from back in the day. Wonderful!
03/05/2026: The atmosphere, food, and staff were exceptional!! We stopped for a Sunday lunch on our way home from the beach. Excellent grandmother's cooking, along with the kind and friendly staff!! It will be a regular stop on our beach trips. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and eat well :) just like at home!
