A real surprise! Research for ingredients like a true restaurant, but with the warm welcome and homey atmosphere of a typical Tuscan trattoria. A wide selection for all palates! Amazing dishes. We'll definitely be back!

Truly excellent and carefully prepared cuisine, with beautifully crafted Tuscan dishes and a creative touch. I especially recommend the Egg at 63°C (140°F) with pecorino cream, truffle, and chopped hazelnuts; the Ancient Grain Macaroni with Trumpet of the Dead mushrooms, Camporbiano querciole mushrooms, Vin Santo (wine santo) and summer truffle; and the Chicken Liver Terrine with Baked Figs and our version of Buccellato. After a stroll along the river, this is the perfect place to end the day with an excellent lunch.

Trattoria in the historic center of Col Val d'Elsa, quiet atmosphere, excellent service, fairly good food, a little too salty, but that's a matter of personal preference. I'd say the quality/price ratio is very good!

Trattoria in Colle di Val d'Elsa serving typical local cuisine, rich in Slow Food Presidium ingredients and local produce. The tagliolini with black summer truffle are fantastic! Well worth a stop!

Very quiet place, knowledgeable, friendly, and smiling staff, but the food... SPECIAL!! We ate wonderfully, dishes to be savored first with the eyes and then with the palate!! Highly recommended!!

10/07/2026: This restaurant is one of the best we have visited in Italy. If we go to Siena again, we will definitely come back.
07/07/2026: When in Siena it is a mandatory stop. I've enjoyed the food and the fantastic service over the last 20 years. It is clear that many both local and international guests are returning to Nonna Gina, because many people are greeted as friends of the house. I highly recommend the place, and the friends and family who has visited have agree that it is a good place to visit.

06/06/2026: Really good food, well prepared and the staff were super friendly. Everything was perfect.
03/06/2026: Wonderful experience, make reservations! Tried to eat there on a Mon. but they were fully booked. Made reservations Tuesday & so glad we did. Amazing fresh local ingredients, great service, cool outdoor vibe & the best restrooms in all of Italy! If you know, you know. Tried the pigeon & lamb, both phenomenal! Also they gave us an appetizer & dessert on the house. It’s a well run business & a must if you can. Thank you, looking forward to coming back!!!!
