I was so happy to stop by for lunch, a truly wonderful discovery! We ordered lampredotto sandwiches (really tasty and filling), excellent pappa al pomodoro, and bruschettone with chicken livers (which I absolutely recommend). I really appreciated the friendly and helpful service from the waitresses, but also the quality olive oil available at every table (I tried it with the bread, it was fragrant and delicious; you can also buy the same bottles at the tables). The only downside is that you can't take away (but the wait makes up for it) and some of the tables are cramped, even for four people, but they're pretty negligible. I definitely recommend stopping by.

I had the lampredotto on a plate. What can I say? I think the chef is the Michelangelo of lampredotto, a symphony of flavors I'll never forget. Congratulations, and I hope to stop by your place again.

A wonderful discovery in the center of Siena.
An inn that represents the highest expression of tradition, the true, beautiful, "ignorant" kind. Authentic Tuscan dishes and authentic meat, expertly prepared.
The girls serving are extremely kind, and the owner is worthy of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We visited La Prosciutteria and had a truly wonderful meal. The place is welcoming and quaint, perfect for a casual dinner in the historic center.
We tried the charcuterie and cheese platters and some Tuscan specialties: everything was excellent, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The wine selection is also interesting and well-curated.

The bowls you see in the photos do exist in real life. All kinds of salami, ham, cheese; anchovies, artichokes. The large bowl is enough for two people! I recommend it!

A restaurant in the center of Siena, where we decided to have lunch during our stay. The place is quite well-kept, though it's a shame about some of the seating options (a small makeshift counter/large table shared with strangers) aren't very comfortable. Otherwise, the staff is very friendly, and we had a wonderful meal!
