We stopped for lunch and it was a great surprise. Carpaccio con finocchi e pizzi con bricoli, insalata mista. The food was amazing!! Structure beautiful, service perfect and kind. Grazie!

We stumbled upon the osteria by chance and trusted the fairly high reviews. The staff was very friendly, and the welcome was warm, but unfortunately the prices don't match the quality and service offered.

We dined at this restaurant after booking by phone, and from the first moment we met, the welcome was warm and professional. Special praise goes to Romeo, the waiter who looked after us throughout the evening. He has an uncommon quality: he knows how to establish a relationship with the customer naturally, without being intrusive. He knows when it's time to exchange a few words and when it's better to leave room for the privacy of the table. A balance that demonstrates experience and professionalism. Regarding the food, the tagliata with truffle was enjoyable, as was the dessert. The pork shoulder with mustard sauce was overall good, although we found it a bit too dry in the middle. The wine was average. There are, however, some aspects that, in my opinion, deserve more attention. The tap water, brought in in an already opened bottle, was charged for, the bathroom was missing soap, and the hand dryer was partially broken and didn't work properly. The chair assigned to me was broken and potentially dangerous: I preferred to replace it myself before sitting down. The service also had a few minor lapses: the salad arrived without the dressing, which we had to request, and the tagliata was initially served without the truffle we ordered, which was then added after we pointed it out. Finally, a thought about the value for money. We spent around 80 euros for two main courses, two side dishes, a bottle of wine, and a dessert. Considering the simplicity of the setting—wooden tables without tablecloths and a roadside location, far from both the historic center and the typical Tuscan countryside—I think the bill was a bit high for the overall experience. Overall, it was still a pleasant dinner, thanks above all to the courtesy of the staff and Romeo's professionalism. With greater attention to detail and a more balanced quality-price ratio, the experience could have been significantly better. In practice it is an osteria that would like to become a high-level restaurant by revisiting Tuscan cuisine, but perhaps it would be preferable to offer Tuscan cuisine with its simplicity and more accessible prices.

We stopped in almost by chance, and left with the intention of returning. Excellent, friendly, and kind. The food was very good, with a special mention for the beans al fiasco.

Excellent food and welcoming staff

Possibly the best meal of our holiday in Tuscany! The waiter recommended adding fresh seasonal truffle to the ossobuco pasta, and it was absolutely delicious. The wild boar and pheasant were excellent as well, and the service was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!
