21/07/2024: Exceptional experience. It is the second time we visit Arnolfo. This time we tried the summer menu, opting for the Contemporary Renaissance route, all meat-based dishes in perfect Chef Trovato style, obviously we added the pigeon, it's an extra, but unmissable. Arnolfo's cuisine is direct, it makes sense both in the path and in the pairings. Magnificent ingredients with a touch of personality and magic. Exceptional cellar, truly beautiful, with overall correct mark-ups, visit it, they will be happy to show it to you.

30/06/2024: excellent first experience in a 2-star hotel, we had dinner for my partner's birthday, excellent attention to customers, non-invasive, excellent dishes, even with special combinations and you certainly won't leave on an empty stomach, also recommended for people like me might think they feel uncomfortable, they know how to avoid it, right distance between tables for the right intimacy and location which is, in essence, contemporary art, beautiful

21/08/2024: We discovered this tavern while walking around the town. We are not vegans, but we left our hearts in this restaurant. Any of their dishes exudes love and research into excellent raw materials. A dish that I will remember for a lifetime is Turmeric Tagliatelle with Lentil Ragout. Top top top

30/08/2024: Wir haben diese Woche sogar zweimal bei Antonimax gegessen, weil die Speisekarte einfach zu viel Leckeres bietet. Wir kannten das Restaurant schon von einem Besuch vor 2 Jahren. Wir sitzen besonders gerne draußen, einfach eine schöne Atmosphäre auf der Piazza. Der Service (und insbesondere Max) ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war köstlich und die Weinempfehlung perfekt! Empfehle ich gerne weiter!

31/08/2024: Serata davvero piacevole, servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto “Degustando il mare in 8 portate mix di antipasti caldi e freddi” per due persone: 8 belle portate di pesce accompagnate da un vermentino Toscano bianco. Spaghetti alle vongole e Tartare di mazzancolle, kiwi, sale nero e menta davvero gustosi e delicati! Consiglio senza dubbio! Unica nota “negativa” forse la musica non proprio adatta all’atmosfera del posto ma per il resto nessun appunto. Complimenti davvero allo chef! Abbiamo speso il giusto, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

22/08/2024: The place is charming and very welcoming. We were there a few days ago and it was very hot outside. The air conditioning is excellent, neither too cold nor too hot. The menu is presented with simple dishes and without having dozens of proposals on the menu. I underline this because I consider it a choice that denotes professionalism. We started from the mixed starter, passing through a first course and a second course of meat (partitions). We then finished with dessert. All tasty! Absolutely worth doing again.

21/08/2024: Really delicious and stunning! Go and eat where the Italians eat. Everything is how you want it and even more. Tuscan food and still really unique dishes. Also good house wines! Really enjoyed the good service. Make sure you make a reservation :)

29/08/2024: Very good food! The innkeeper gave a beautiful explanation of the materials used, the dishes and the culture and vision of the place. Very pleasant as a person. The only flaw in the service is the bill: just before leaving, a not very nice scene between a customer and the owner(?) about some mistake or wait (and it's okay, it happens) but then she counted us two special gourmet coffees for €3 each never asked for or taken. My fault too, I noticed it after I left but you have to be more careful...

29/08/2024: The soups offered are very interesting, seasonal and change often. Get advice from the staff. Good service. Well made dishes and interesting varieties. I really liked the pici with mixed cinta and goose ragù. Special desserts, good saffron ice cream

03/09/2024: Mixed platter of typical Tuscan cured meats and cheeses truly exceptional!!! Accompanied by a nice bottle of vernaccia of fantastic quality.

02/09/2024: The best night in San Gimignano where the owner took music requests and the wine recommendations were on point. Wonderful place!

31/07/2024: The food is very good you can feel the beef in the meat and the prices are cheap. The only personel is the owner and he is realy nice and he makes food fast.

Its mushroom and chestnut soup welcomes you and makes you fly....the first courses, the second courses, the desserts...all perfect as always...all accompanied by attentive and kind service!! It's worth the 1.30 minute trip just to go there!!! See you next time

24/08/2024: How many times have we found a common restaurant behind the name trattorias, taverns, bistros etc? I almost always do, it's just that each of these classifications should have completely different prices and characteristics from each other. This is to say that here we are probably close to the reality of the facts... And I would also add that here the rule "the customer is always right" falters. There are two owners, one in the kitchen and one in the dining room, they do what they can and as far as the food is concerned, very well. The service is unfortunately quite slow but if you can get over it you won't leave disappointed. Excellent flan, cured meats and pici, the cut is a little tough but in all cases you will notice the quality of the products. From us, however, thanks and we will certainly return, the "good cuisine" deserves patience!!!!!

23/08/2024: In the space of a week, despite having to travel several kilometres, we returned to enjoy the delicacies of this almost anonymous restaurant. The courtesy and quality of the food are truly priceless. If we add to all this a significantly lower cost than the average for the area, this is a restaurant worth recommending and trying. The pici alla gricia and the meat tartare are fantastic
