I've been missing for a while.....arriving from the Cateni means arriving with family, you are welcomed, celebrated and pampered. The quality of the food at their place is always a certainty, and then it happens that you find a gem, this time it was the miles. A scent, a flavour, a goodness that took me back to childhood and happiness when my grandmother put them on the table!!!! Thank you for being there, and thank you, while rightly seeking some innovation, for maintaining the cuisine which is heart and tradition

Very kind staff, live music, dreamy atmosphere, amazing food. Even simple baked potatoes are the best I've ever eaten. 5 stars deserved.

I rarely post reviews, but a restaurant that makes everything in house, from bread to pasta to desserts, should be rewarded in some way. A traditional cuisine with some refined dishes, but executed with a love that only a family can put into it. The wild boar sauce cut with a knife on the homemade pappardelle is the best I have ever eaten. Compliments!

The Cateni family is a big family, Marcello was very good at involving the whole family in this historic restaurant in Orgia. Quality, courtesy and first choice products are the main characteristics. Optimal!

Sono stato dal Cateni varie volte negli anni ed anche oggi trovi la famiglia a gestire il ristorante. Purtroppo devo condividere le impressioni di altre recenti recensioni, a malincuore. Appena ho visto passare dei piatti da portata in stile gourmet mi è venuto un brivido: un locale del genere seppur meritasse un rinnovamento, ha fatto un passo sbagliato. E infatti dentro al piatto gourmet abbiamo trovato delle pappardelle ottime ma misere, una ribollita finita in 5 cucchiaiate, secondi di carne non proprio al limite della "degustazione" ma quasi. E in effetti seppur comprensibile che abbiano aumentato i prezzi (come tutti) le dimensioni ridotte sono un'ingiusta punizione per il cliente. Infine per i saluti finali: 3 euro di coperto a testa e 10% per il servizio. Un consiglio alla famiglia: siete ancora in tempo per rimediare, non lasciate questo splendido posto ai figli con questo errore. Non ne avevate bisogno. 3 stelle per incoraggiamento ma ho paura che abbiate perso un cliente.

Etter å ha besøkt Dal Cateni flere ganger i løpet av de siste 20 årene er jeg ikke i tvil om at dette er en av mine absolutte favorittrestauranter. Klassiske, italienske retter av meget høy kvalitet. Idyllisk beliggenhet i en liten landsby sør for Siena med utsikt mot byen. Stemning som bare italienere kan lage det. Meget serviceinnstilt personale. Du føler deg sett og verdsatt som kunde.
