This trattoria exudes Tuscan flavor and tastes authentically Tuscan. I think I ate one of the best ragùs I've had, as well as a truly excellent wild boar sauce that paired perfectly cooked homemade pasta. The toasted bread crostini were also delicious.

Good food here! An excellent tagliere which included vegetables in oil which don't just taste of vinegar, and some typical liver pate crostini. For second course we choose trippa: the best, melt in the mouth slow cooked dissolving trippa I have ever eaten. So one tagliere, one crostini, two trippa, water,wine, coffee total was 55 euros . Friendly owners too. Recommended

The old Sbrana from 30 years ago is obviously gone, but the grandchildren are still great. The wait is a bit longer than usual, but it's worth it with the deliciousness of the typical Tuscan dishes. The quality of the ingredients used is truly excellent. In the evening, the pizza is truly delicious. The service is adequate for the type of restaurant, but the delivery of the dishes could be improved. Finally, the bill: fair; in fact, we all expected a little more.

If there's truly a gastronomic cultural heritage worth preserving, it's that of the trattorias on provincial roads, in small villages, at crossroads, in hamlets now forgotten by the mass tourism. And very often, you'll find a much more attentive level of service here than in restaurants that pretend—or want to pretend—to be superior. Here, in particular, it was the service that struck us as above average: a very young woman—twenty years old—who was so bright, fast, courteous, and above all professional, yet this isn't her profession: she'll soon be leaving for Spain to study. Thus, she'll be learning a fourth language. Having said the service, with the dining rooms almost full on a Sunday lunch, let's move on to the menu. You have to be careful here, especially if you're not in your twenties anymore, as the portions are generous. Typical dishes, well-prepared, with an excellent selection on a menu that focuses on local produce, traditional pastas, and meat. Express cooking, so some dishes require a long wait, and our suckling pig took about ten minutes, just enough time to get lost in the croutons. The side potatoes were excellent, not only for their preparation but also for their quality. Bulk wine, as is usual, was more than reasonable. The price was reasonable. We'll definitely be back.
