27/07/2026: A wonderful discovery in Follonica! If I could, I'd give it 6 stars ⭐️ Cassarello Bar Snack is a friendly place where you immediately feel at ease. The staff is truly welcoming and friendly. Special mention for the mojitos at only €5… at that price, it was impossible to resist, I obviously had two! 😄 The Limoncello spritz at €4 is also a great deal! As for the food, the prices are very affordable and the portions are generous. My classic salad at €7 was hearty and fresh. We also tried the pinsa, which was delicious, with a wonderfully light crust. And to finish on a high note, the Nutella pinsa: a real treat! The charcuterie platters at €8.50 also deserve a mention: high-quality products. Excellent value for money in a simple and welcoming atmosphere. We will be back, that's for sure!

14/06/2026: This is my second year living in Grosseto and it's the place where I had the worst aperitivo. When I entered, the owner was already agitated and tense because of the crowd. I asked her what she offered with the aperitivo to confirm this. She was spellbound, watching me while she thought, without being able to give me a clear and exhaustive answer. Terrible service. I received a small plate with 4 micro pizzas, dried out and old, one burnt on the edge, the usual chips and peanuts, and she had forgotten the fruit. I reminded her, and she immediately brought me a small glass bowl of warm cherries, some of which were ruined, evidently already prepared and out of the fridge for hours. I asked her for clarification on the wines, but she replied hastily and continued to complain that it would close after midnight, so much so that I didn't ask if she had rosés. Then I wanted an explanation about the drinks on the menu, but she rudely replied that "she had OTHER people to serve"! I asked for a basic drink with just two ingredients, and she poured from several bottles. I wanted to ask her beforehand to add a little ice, but I didn't dare! She's incapable of managing the crowd. She kept complaining, serious, frowning, and rude, with tables still to be vacated full of bottles. I suggest she change her approach, and better yet, get some work done, because this isn't for her; she's a desk-based office worker.

18/12/2025: A restaurant from another era, located in an apartment on the first floor of a building in the village of Pari, a village well worth a visit. The dishes are excellent, but patience is required: the grill is in the (small) fireplace in one of the dining rooms, and preparation takes a while. The inability to pay by POS and/or credit card is unforgivable, unforgivable, and probably even illegal... The one star for service is due to this serious shortcoming.

08/12/2025: Time passes for everyone, and even the legendary Siro, a few years ago, handed the reins over to his son. While under the old management you could accept the lack of a menu and prices, as well as cash-only payments without a receipt, that's no longer acceptable. And even more so with the prices being much higher than in the past. And the quality of the food isn't what it used to be (except for the cold cuts and steak). I'm not saying the food is bad, especially for those who didn't come here when Siro was there. With him, it was a whole different story, a shame.

14/07/2026: The staff was fantastic: attentive, helpful, and very professional. The lobster catalana was excellent! Compliments to the chef for both his cooking and his professionalism. Original dishes and excellent ingredients.

20/06/2026: We had a reservation at 9:15, but by 10:45 PM we still hadn't received any entrees. After complaining, the three appetizers arrived. Mine, a tuna tartare, was frozen inside... We canceled the order. The waiter told us we'd been seated at 9:40... and it's not a trattoria!!! It's a shame because everything looks good.

10/08/2026: The outdoor seating is nice, but I recommend booking because during peak hours there's a risk of being booked out. The meat is good, high-quality, and cooked rare; I recommend the rib-eye steak. The pizza is also good. The staff is friendly and fast; I can say we had a great time.

31/05/2026: ⭐️⭐️ An excellent location, but unfortunately, it's not enough to justify the price. Strengths: The property enjoys a truly excellent location in Porto Santo Stefano and offers convenient parking (a real plus in this area). Special mention goes to the staff, who were courteous, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. Cons (Room 27): The problems began as soon as we opened the door to Room 27. I fully understand that it was the cheapest room in the property, but there are limits to everything, especially when you're paying €150.00 a night. The room is so small that it's uncomfortable: once you open your suitcases, moving around becomes virtually impossible. Furthermore, upon our arrival, we found that both the air conditioning and the television weren't working. The real sticking point, however, was the bathroom, which was completely dysfunctional: the sink measures just 20 centimeters, making it literally impossible to use without flooding the entire place or having to perform acrobatics. Conclusions: Flexibility on "basic" rooms in seaside locations is fine, but charging €150 a night for such limited space and non-functioning amenities is frankly madness. A property with this potential should guarantee minimum standards of livability in every single room.

15/05/2026: Minimal reception but with friendly, efficient, and professional staff. Rooms are spacious enough with all the essential amenities, though the mattresses are perhaps a little old. Spectacular views. Excellent location, close to town. High-quality and varied breakfast. Excellent dinner. Everyone was very courteous and helpful.

10/08/2026: Had a great dinner with two amazing fish starters and soft and very fresh fried calamari.

09/08/2026: The dishes were moderately greasy and lacked clearly defined flavors. Except for the marinated anchovies (a bit thin). We dined with wine on tap because the bottled one had run out 🤔. Fortunately, the cost was reasonable. I recommend participating in Chef Cannavacciuolo's program. Adios
