03/07/2024: My partner and I had an amazing experience at this place. We stumbled upon it, looked intrigued as the decor was amazing and the waiters very friendly. We started off with a few glasses of wine, and the son of the owners Alberto was extremely knowledgeable and friendly with his service. Afterwards we went to the wine shop at the back with him and he talked to us about all the wines, both cheap and expensive, and it was just overall a fun time. It is these types of commerces that may sometimes slip under the radar when in fact it should be the ones that stand out. You can’t beat the authenticity and passion of the owners. I highly highly recommend visiting this place and purchasing some wine. Their wine shop is very intimate and they only buy it though direct connections with the winery that the grandfather set up in the 60s, another great sign that they have this relationship with the producers. Visiting from Australia, this type of place is exactly what’s missing over there so we were so happy to have found it.

30/06/2024: Enoteca in centro a Orbetello. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Ottimi prodotti locali. Disponibilità di acquisto all'interno del locale di prodotti tipici. Per cena abbiamo preso un tagliere (possibilità di scelta tra salumi e formaggi diversi) e una focaccia ripiena di stracchino con salsiccia e cime di rapa. Prezzi nella norma.

10/03/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante in occasione di un breve soggiorno a Saturnia, siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dalla cucina tipica e di qualità, con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Il posto è molto bello, è stato estremamente piacevole poter pranzare all’esterno, approfittando della bella giornata.

06/01/2024: Ottimo servizio condotto da una una troup con a capo Paolo (il romano ) il mio amico è del cuore oramai ....e ci tengo nel referirlo! Chef Domenico garbato e gentile ..... perché asseconda ogni esigenza alimentare pertanto basta che uno le espone ....francesco grande uomo e tanta forza di animo e professionalità.....cibi eccezionali freschi ottime materie prime che hanno allietato il mio soggiorno per molti giorni ....vi adoro siete unici ! Grazie di non avermi fatta sentire celiaca .....

06/08/2024: Given that we don't want to lump everything together and that I blame the unpleasant experience 50% on the management and 50% on the restaurant operators, I try my hand at reading the menu. Very unpleasantly, I notice a writing at the bottom indicating a supplement of €10 per person for a place setting with sea view or (PORT VIEW) I don't think I need to comment on such an incorrectness given that the table and the platform looked like spinning tops as they moved. continuously …. I order a fish fillet as a starter, which according to them is marinated and grilled croaker, while the other person orders a mackerel parmigiana (the only almost sufficient dish of the evening). First, we order two cacio e pepe pasta with bottarga. I would also add that the fish was finished at 9.45pm and the operator was bragging about it. I reiterated that we were in a fish restaurant and, given this, the customer expects to be able to order fish. The surprise occurs between the arrival of the starter and the first course. We waited 50 minutes for a microscopic-sized appetizer: they specified fillet, but upon arrival it looked like four microorganisms thrown in there. Then another 50 minutes of waiting, during which I was told with derision that the bread had run out. After a minute I see two baskets of bread brought to two different tables. I complain again and manage to get a measly basket of bread (only black). The arrival of the pastas was worse than the starter. The sauce was good, but the pasta completely undercooked. I finished it anyway to satisfy my hunger. I believe that you don't have a similar experience even in hostels for four-legged friends. Both due to the management of the structure and the inexperience of the staff (Snooty and Rude). However, to make a gentlemanly impression, unlike how the host behaved facility, we left a small tip. EXPERIENCE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT HIGHLY AVOIDED AND DANGEROUS TO YOUR MENTAL HEALTH.

11/07/2024: I found "refuge" in this bar in a delicate moment in my life when I was in and out of the Misericordia and even today, when I am in Grosseto I willingly go there. The girls are kind, thoughtful and smiling, as is the boy I saw in the afternoon. The sweet pieces are good and varied, but I find that the savory one reigns supreme due to its delicacy and freshness. Great coffee. Highly recommended! I continue to frequent this bar and I think their coffee is excellent, creamy. And the new cups are really cute!

31/08/2024: Meh… Honestly, I wasn't satisfied. Small portions, high prices and average quality, nothing exceptional. Let's clarify: you don't eat badly, but personally (starter, first course, 3 second courses and 3 Sweets) I don't think there is anything that goes beyond the average. Good but not exceptional products, normal vegetables and good but not exceptional desserts, Not even valorization of local products. All with very small portions (for example the Potatoes, as a side dish, were 4 - four - slices of about 2 mm for 4 euros) It's not bad, but personally I don't think it's worth these 5 stars, high price for the quality and quantity offered

21/07/2024: Ordinato birre per un aperitivo e considerando il gusto soggettivo per le birre (quelle fruttate sembrano tisane) direi che non è possibile non avere il 'contorno' dell'aperitivo. Era sabato e non avere patatine, arachidi e simili mi sembra una roba assurda...per di più a prezzi alti...ma questa è ahimè una condizione di molti locali di Castiglione, ovvero prodotti e servizi mediocri a prezzi altissimi.

04/08/2024: Excellent venue, beautiful international collection of gins, rich and tasty aperitif, efficient service, international clientele, simple furnishings with further room for improvement. Furthermore, the owners maintain excellent neighborly relations with the other bars in the square.

11/08/2024: Bel posticino.... qualche moscerino ha provato a rovinarci la cena.....ma non ci è riuscito, siamo all'aperto...bel panorama! Gnocchi, pici, fiorentina... tutto buonissimo! Il personale eccellente! A presto!!!

27/07/2024: Tutto buonissimo. Abbiamo preso antipasti, primi e dolci, forse su questi ultimi c'è da migliorare ma è comunque una cena molto piacevole e con prezzi onesti. Unica pecca è mangiare nella speranza che gli insetti non ti vadano nel piatto ma siamo in aperta campagna quindi è più che normale come situazione.

29/07/2024: Place in a strategic position a stone's throw from the sea. Too bad the food and drinks don't match what's written on the menu. They serve you a spritz in a 0.2 glass passing it off as 0.4. They write you 13 nuggets and you need 10 of them. Let's say you don't come out happy.

05/08/2024: Mangiato all'interno e location veramente carina che ti fa fare un salto nel passato. L'ambiente presenta aria condizionata che comunque non era accesa grazie ad una buona ventilazione del locale. Servizio molto buono; la signora ci ha servito in maniera molto professionale, cercando anche di intavolare una conversazione. Rapporto qualità-prezzo azzeccatissimo; primi ottimi (pasta fatta in casa veramente niente male) con sughi che uno si sogna la notte; secondi un po' sotto le aspettative anche perché virato su qualcosa di molto semplice. Tutto ciò non toglie che la cucina sia molto buona. Da ritornarci in futuro!

30/07/2024: Always worth a visit! Whether it's a coffee or an aperitivo, Lo Chale is the right place. In a lively place in the heart of Grosseto, nicely furnished with lounges, etc. Of course, there is always something to nibble with an aperitivo in Italy... Lo Chalet is standard on our holidays in Tuscany.
