We've been going here for years. Friendly service and good food at a reasonable price. We recommend the paccheri with seafood ragù; spaghetti with clams and bottarga; and fried artichokes and anchovies. The pizzas and "missili" are also good.

The entrance is a bit dark, but the interior is much more spacious and bright. Enjoyed the daily specials, all excellent. The warm bread was a plus. Fast and courteous service. Highly recommended.

La Taverna is a good trattoria in the center of Orbetello. There are outdoor tables outside the entrance, convenient for a snack with an appetizer and a glass of wine, but you can also stay for lunch or dinner. Inside, the restaurant is simple, with friendly, basic service. The menu offers a good selection of both meat and fish. The fried anchovies are excellent, and the pizza is good. An unpretentious place where you can be sure of good food at a good price. I'd love to return.
